A wild soup kiosk appears!
Maverick P.

I don't know where to start, the fact that a humble noodle soup kiosk even exists in the Ontario airport by gate 211 is amazing. But to think that the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was more delicious than it had any right to be! Start to finish, it only took me a couple minutes to get my soup and there it was, this tasty soup. It came out hot (be careful), but the beef was perfectly tender, the noodles chewy, the vegetables properly firm, and the broth so flavorful. They even provide a solid utensil pack of chopsticks, fork, knife, and napkin. The only difficulty was finding a place to eat, but I was lucky enough to be the only person by the gate so I ate quickly on the ledge, full of wonder at this delicious bowl of soup that seemingly came out of nowhere. If you happen to be flying out of the Ontario, CA be sure to stop by this delightful gem!

Terminal 4

This machine is awesome. I got a Ramen. The only problems is that you need 2 hands and a table to eat your ramen. There are little to none of these areas to eat at the Ontario airport. Also, is this machine gone from Terminal 4? I went on a trip recently and it was no longer in the original spot

Hmm should I try it?
Maile N.

I passed through Ontario Airport sometime last year. I had a lot of time before my flight, and I had just eaten (darn!). I bookmarked this place during that trip, when I noticed a vending machine-looking contraption in a small vestibule. Hmm, what's that? Ramen? Huh? I checked out Yelp because someone had to review it if someone was brave enough to try it and hopefully liked it. Hmm! And sure enough, a flight attendant (ok, I have to trust their judgement because I'm sure they try all kinds of food all over the place!), and this flight attendant loved it! Ok, bookmark that for next time! During a recent trip, I remembered my bookmark and was totally curious! Ok, I looked at the menu and I picked the Tonkatsu Ramen. I heard some noise inside the machine, so something was definitely brewing. I waited a few minutes, and my ramen came out piping hot. I carefully removed it from the little door, and happily carried it away to try. Woo, it was nice and hot, the noodles were chewy and just right, the broth was so tasty, and I loved the pork and all the toppings (fish cake, green onions, corn, mushrooms) - mmm! It was literally the best bowl of ramen I had in a long time! Wow! I cannot wait to try something else from this little vending machine. It's a must try! Don't be scared!

I have to admit, when I first saw this at the airport, I was a bit apprehensive what the quality would be for a $12-14 bowl of noodle soup. Excited to tell everyone, I was wrong. We ordered the Taiwanese beef noodle soup and the broth was good, fragrant. The beef was tender and noodles held well. Comforting bowl of noodles and impressive coming from vending machine. They offer about 3-4 different types of ramen, Vietnamese beef pho, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, and Korean jjamppong seafood soup.

Spicy kimchi miso ramen

As a flight attendant I get to fly into all kinds of places and try new things, but noodles from a vending machines were something I hadn't expected to see outside of japan! Unfortunately my first encounter with it ended with me not buying any because I was still full from dinner earlier but I saw on my schedule that I was flying in again in about a week and decided to wait until then to give it a go and man am I glad I skipped dinner and tried this out. I have legitimately had dine in restaurants that don't have noodles as good as this machine! I ordered the spicy kimchi miso ramen and didn't stop eating until even the broth was gone. If I ever fly here again I will be trying the other flavors as well. If you have a layover and are getting hungry you can't go wrong with giving this thing a shot!

Black garlic tonkotsu

Ok I was skeptical, but this is actually really good. The noodles were super chewy, meat was tender, broth was flavorful. I was shocked. I think it was only $12 too, which is CHEAP for airport food. If you're picky, it's not customizable. It lists the ingredients before you buy though. Just be careful, they warn you it's hot and IT IS HOT!!! Even after stirring and blowing for awhile I still burned my tongue on the first bite. But I was impatient. I got the black garlic tonkotsu. Worth a try.

Loved this ramen & pho we got to have while waiting for our extremely delayed flight. Made our bellies full and happy as we traveled. Such a neat product to serve :)

Convenient and cheaper option at the airport. It was really hot and needs to be careful to carry.

Completely inedible and nauseating. Had to throw out my bowl after one bite. Machine is cool but the food is old and rancid.

We were seated pretty quick and I ordered the jalapeño bombs as well as the Tonkotsu Spicy Black ramen. Everything was delicious. The ramen was flavorful and the portion was satisfying. You can selct the spicy level. I got to try both levels 1 and 2. Level 2 is on the spicier side and just on the cusp of being too much. I think 3 would be too spicy to enjoy, imo. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Im glad I got the black garlic addition. It added an extra layer of flavor. I will be checking this place out some more.

One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning

I ordered the spicy miso and a crunchy roll, both were delicious! The spicy miso is on the spicy side, but for me it was perfect! Overall we all had the best experience and will be visiting again. Menu is small but I prefer it that way. We opted for a Tonkatsu Ramen, a Spicy Miso Ramen, and a roll (sorry, I can't remember the name of the roll). Tonkatsu Ramen: classic ramen. Delicious. Broth was flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Spicy Miso Ramen: definitely not too spicy. Broth was good. Noodles were good. Toppings were plentiful. I really liked the way the egg was cooked. Really enjoyed this ramen but I think next time I'll get the non spicy version to really taste the broth. Roll: This was a really delicious roll. It had shrimp, benito flakes, maybe an eel sauce(?). It was a great roll. A good sized roll, perfect for sharing. Overall, this was a great spot for ramen. Left satisfied and full. Service could be friendlier but definitely not a deal breaker. Definitely worth checking out.

Luckily for us, we were in the area and found a Jinya close by. I can't express how excited we were. Parking was easy. As soon as we walked it, we felt nostalgic. I have been to the Jinya in Austin over 20 times and the ambiance was consistent with what I was familiar with. We did sign up for their rewards program that got us free dessert! We first ordered some warm sake. It was a cold day so it was the perfect way to get started. The sake came out quickly and as expected - it was perfect! We next got the spicy vegan ramen bowls. The food took a bit but it was worth the wait. The ramen looked delicious. We couldn't wait to dig in. The ramen was packed with flavors and we literally inhaled the food. The portion size was perfect. The vegan ramen was packed with tofu and vegetables and had yummy sauces. Lastly, we got some matcha mochi ice cream. This was tasty too.
