It's been awhile since my family and I had pho because of the heat wave. So, we stopped by here as we were passing through Ontario for an event. It's a spacious restaurant that's clean and well-kept. Staff was nice though I think they should have checked on us at least a couple times if we needed water anything else. The pho broth is on the light side so my family added hoisin more flavor. Some of the noodles were kind of overcooked and mushy--kind of off-putting. I ordered the bun hue which was tasty but needed more hoisin than usual as well. The star of the show was the bone marrow, which made up for the mushy pho noodles. We were very delighted to see huge bones with enough buttery bone marrow and soft tendons for four of us. That said, I was disappointed to receive only one pork roll when the menu and photo indicated two. For my main, I had the seafood pho. While the broth--typically the highlight--was a bit plain, the rice noodles were fresh and delicious. I actually wished I had ordered extra noodles. We got a combination pho and a bun bo hue, both were good sized portions and more importantly tasted wonderful. The pho was decent, not bad but not great. I will say the food and beverage was delivered very quickly! But, it clearly was quick because once I got the pho the noodles were still a hard ball at the bottom - it negatively affected the quality of the pho. Also I had to ask for more water. I had to get napkins from another table because there was none in my table. It was also very slow and there were multiple servers just standing around the back on their phones. I also had to ask for the check and for my food to go. Instead of making it to go in the back, it was such a mess for me to pour in the plastic container myself. Simple lunch. Got a standard combo pho and a side of wontons. The serving size is HUGE so, definitely plan on taking some to-go. The wontons are a bit on the smaller side but you get lots of mini-sized ones as a trade off. I wish I got slightly veggies for my pho and wontons, but overall a "chill" place to stop by and eat or study (music isn't load and you don't have helicopter servers). This place just opened by my house and it is pretty good. I have tried their Bun Bo Hue and Pho and I will say I prefer the Bun Bo Hue. The Pho broth did taste very clean and healthy compared to other locations. The portions are generous. Their spring rolls good as well. I personally did not like their peanut sauce. It was super water down, the consistency was like water and had no thickness to it like normal peanut sauce. This is the same thing with their fish sauce that comes with their rice plates as well. There are some other Vietnamese staples on the menu, but I think they specialize in Pho since it's in the name. The bowl was pretty large and against my better judgment I finished the whole thing in the middle of the workday. Just a great place to get my pho fix in the area. There's finally some competition for good and authentic Vietnamese food in the area. I've been a loyal customer of one restaurant in this area for the last year and am so happy to see another quality restaurant in this area! I've come here a few times now and have tried their spring rolls, egg rolls, beef stew, banh mi, and bun thit nuong and everything has been fresh and delicious. Portions are generous and pricing is very fair. One of my favorite things here is the beef stew. My late mother used to make this often and since her passing, I haven't been able to find any anything like it (I've searched across Orange County as well!)
