I've been a loyal customer of one restaurant in this area for the last year and am so happy to see another quality restaurant in this area! I've come here a few times now and have tried their spring rolls, egg rolls, beef stew, banh mi, and bun thit nuong and everything has been fresh and delicious. Portions are generous and pricing is very fair. One of my favorite things here is the beef stew. My late mother used to make this often and since her passing, I haven't been able to find any anything like it (I've searched across Orange County as well!) ORDERED: Phở Đặc Biệt (Combination Pho) + the dessert advertised with a flyer on the wall but not on menu TASTE: The Phở was good, not an overly sweet broth. It came out piping hot too which is good cause my family tends to order the rare steak on the side to avoid the overcooking. But if the broth isn't warm enough then it can be a bit undercooked. They also do have the hanh dam (vinegar pickled onions) as well as the nước béo hành trần (scallions in fatty broth). I always recommend asking for this as it lets you control additional richness to your broth. The combo also came with some cut up meatballs which is usually an extra charge at other places so that was a nice surprise! I didn't get a picture but ordered a dessert to go. It had fruit and jellies in coconut milk. Very homemade based on the shapes of the cut jellies. Simple but delicious! SERVICE: The staff was friendly and quick to serve. Aside from ordering our dishes, we also ordered 4 more to go. They had this securely packed and ready for us by the time we paid the bill. VIBES: Inside was a lot bigger than I was expecting. Best pho I've had in a long time and I've had a lot of pho. Everything we ordered was so delicious at a decent price. If it were closer to home I'd definitely go back. Service was okay. I came here after shopping nearby and wanted to try a new restaurant. They opened recently so they had a small free drink and discount for their grand opening. I was not in the mood for pho since it was so hot so I chose to get their Vermicelli /Bun ($13.99) which is vermicelli noodles with sliced grilled pork, grilled shrimp, shrimp paste bean curd roll, and egg roll with a fish sauce based dressing. It came with sliced lettuce and pickled vegetables, it was fresh tasting and the meat was freshly grilled. I also got their spring rolls ($7.50) with shrimp with peanut sauce. I ordered to-go combination fried rice ($13.99) for my brothers and Filet mignon rice ($15.99) for my parents to try. We ordered a grilled chicken pho and grilled pork pho and it was damn good. I was pleased that this wasn't that "red" marinated grilled chicken. This was flavored and marinated with such a great flavor. The broth is flavorful. What I enjoyed most was that the broth was clean with beautiful and aromatic flavors from spices and whole ingredients. Some places add way too much sugar or salt which I hate (I don't add hoisin because I enjoy the food itself) so this was a huge win. Great portion. This is a new Pho spot near my office. Tried it for lunch today, and it was so good! The dining room is large and comfortable. Super clean and stylish. The TVs hanging on the walls were too loud though. I put in my earbuds, but they didn't really drown out the loud music videos. Service was lightning fast. That explanation is absurd -- porridge takes hours, not minutes, and clearly can't be cooked per order. When I asked for clarification, the response was, "I don't know." SERVICE customer service was amazing on the phone and in person. It seems to be run by a family and I love places like this. I provide great food and great service. I've ordered take out and have eaten in and both times customer service went above and beyond! This is extremely rare these days and I love it!!! From the time we ordered to the time we got our food. It was about 10 to 15 minutes. I really don't recall, but I'll pay attention to this next time I come. Ordering on the phone and eating in wasn't long at all. FOOD The fall was delicious as were the eggrolls and the veggie rolls. I didn't care for their beef and pasta dish so I just stick to what I think this place specializes in and thats the Pho. I've had a variety of their soups and they don't disappoint. I live in the north Alhambra and grew up near Monterey Park so that is the experience that I compared to. Although it's not as amazing and delicious as the one little hole in the wall that we went to in Monterey Park, it's still very good and fresh and clean. I've have referred people to this place and they rave about how delicious it is and they love the customer service as well. What can I say about this place. Food was great, price was good and everything came out fast. Really close to the Ontario airport. Was there to pick up family and when I picked them up they said they were hungry. Due to being a bit late this was close by and still open. Came in and they have a special if you spend so much you get a free drink. The only complaint if I had one was that there didn't seem to be any AC on at the time. It felt cooler outside then inside. Then again it could be because its a pho place so lots of hot soup noodle at all the tables. Besides the AC issue, I would come back again. You know, one day I woke up and thought, "I feel like Vietnamese food today." I DoorDashed from Pho K Plus and did not expect it to be this good. I ordered a pork banh mi with extra mayo (which they delivered), grilled pork spring rolls, and a pho with 3 choices of meat...all that just for myself. Pork Bahn Mi -I really appreciate how they separate the vegetables and garnishes from the sandwich for delivery orders. It prevents the vegetables from wilting. The pork was tender and flavorful, aromatic with a hint of sweetness. As I mentioned earlier, I asked for extra mayo, and boy, it made the sandwich even better. The bread was still crunchy even though it was a delivery order. I do not care what other people say, this might be one of the best banh mi I have ever had. Grilled Pork Spring Rolls - Alright...does it have to be this big though? Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it was extremely hard to eat. I think the sauce consistency was a little too runny for my personal preference. Other than that, I have no other complaints. Pho - I am not going to lie, pho is not really my go to noodle soup. Most places make bland pho, and the only way to enjoy it is to dump in hoisin and Vietnamese sriracha. But that day, I was craving it. I liked that it came in a bowl already. All I had to do was reheat the soup and pour it into the bowl. The dish came with all kinds of vegetables and sauces on the side to add separately. Without adding any sauces, I took the first sip of the soup, and my life was changed forever. The broth was rich, with a perfect balance of flavor and aroma. It looked underwhelming, but the flavor completely outshined its appearance. I ended up standing in my kitchen eating it at the counter because I could not stop. I never even made it to the dining table. The meat was thinly sliced and perfect for the soup, with a great balance of fat and lean. The meatball had a nice crunch to it. Everything complemented each other really well. I also noticed that the prices were very affordable. It was a little cheaper than the standard prices elsewhere.
