Delicious, even better for the price. The braised pork belly rice bowl is great. Excellent customer service as well

Service: 5-star. Friendly and fast. Ambiance: 5-star. Love the graffiti art and the branding (the owner is a big bald Asian dude named Leon. His likeness is the brand). Food: 5-star. Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley, I've had a lot of Taiwanese cuisine. Based on that, this place is pretty authentic with its own spin. Don't let the quick casual setup fool you - it's a legitimate cuisine. read more

Heads up: Misleading pricing, bad value, and hygiene concerns! I walked into Jojo's Kitchen inside Haven City Market and ordered the House Special, but the total came out to a shocking $21. The posters on the wall only show images of the food. Sneakily, they only list price tags for the small, cheap side items--the actual price for the House Special is completely missing from the posters. You don't find out the real cost until the transaction is complete and it's already too late. The real kicker is that my card statement showed the charge under "DoorDash." They are running their walk-up register through a DoorDash POS system and forcing in-person customers to pay inflated app-delivery prices without warning. They need to put a tag on the register letting people know. If they were transparent, I could have placed a pickup order through my own DoorDash account to use a discount, or just ordered their $6.25 mini bowls separately to save nearly $9. Don't get me wrong, the Taiwanese sausage is actually good, but the popcorn chicken is way too dry and the rice is not good at all. To make matters worse, I paid $21 just to get half an egg! Most places give you a whole egg, and other restaurants would even provide a free drink with a combo at this price point. Getting a half-egg and no drink for a premium price is ridiculous. If you do eat here, I recommend just ordering the small snacks or trying their noodles instead of the main bowls. The owner's attitude itself was okay, but I noticed a major hygiene issue. He was sweating heavily from his forehead while packaging my food. He really needs to wear a sweat-absorbing headband because it looked like sweat could easily drip right into the customer's food. Also, there was a younger guy in the back (maybe the owner's kid or nephew), and when I asked him a question, he walked over in slow motion acting like a gangster and talked to me like he was rapping, just saying, "Yeah." Between the hidden app pricing, the poor value, and the sweat issue, it was a very frustrating experience. read more

Usually always love these noodles. Took it home this time and the sauce was all over the bag by the time I got home. The noodles had no flavor because it was all at the bottom of the bag. Food I ordered from another stall was just fine. I wish Jojo's had better to-go bowls. read more

Full Flavor at Half Cost! I have yet to experience anything negative from this establishment. Everything from customer service, pricing, portions, and quality has been nothing short of outstanding. Tucked next to the Eastern side of the food hall, you'll find this modest selling spot. I ordered the garlic noodles and the pork belly bao. I wanted something different from their iconic dan dan noodles (try those if you haven't) and boy was I surprised. There isn't seating with them, so you must find a spot in the general area, no problems there. The garlic noodles will have real chopped garlic with a delicious flavoring that will have you satisfied with a stinky breath (not sorry) and the pork belly bao is insanely tender, you'll think you're not even chewing over how soft it is. It's garnished with a mustard topping on a steamed bun. Both of these items were on happy hour and I was fulfilled while not breaking the bank. The owner really does take pride in his work and the quality he produces for us, always happy to support those who bring the passion to the kitchen. YUM read more

Continuing to find some of the best Taiwanese eats in the Greater Los Angeles area, I found Jojo's Kitchen with a large percentage of reviews talking about great food. Looking to try some for myself, I found myself looking at the restaurant's pictures and trying their food on a Sunday evening. For this visit, I decided to try their Braised Pork Belly over Rice ($13) with a side of Pork Belly ($7). Looking at the dish, it was made up of a few things such as pork belly, pickled sour vegetables, half of a soy sauce egg, and a bed of rice to sit on. And with the 60-70% of the bowl being rice, there was a decent amount of meat inside the bowl. For those looking for a hearty meal without too much quantity, the pork belly bowl could be a great choice. But if you need a bit more to feel full, I would suggest ordering the extra side of pork belly which gives a whole extra portion of food. With a large sum of Asian restaurants in the area, the price for both items was pretty fair all things considered. As for the flavor, there were many great parts about the pork belly bowl. The pork was very fatty and saucy which made each piece taste like a sweet soy sauce. Pairing the food with the pickled vegetables, I enjoyed the sweet and sour exchange in the dish. And with the half soy sauce egg, the dish had a grounded chalky texture that was rich with savory flavors. I enjoyed being able to have these all together in a single bowl with the neutral rice to ground the food. Jojo's Kitchen is definitely an underrated spot in the Rancho Cucamonga area. With a good price to portion ratio and great flavors with their food, this spot is definitely a solid 4 star place. If you're looking to try Taiwanese food, I'd be happy to suggest Jojo's Kitchen as a faithful option. But for those looking for larger quantities of food, know that it might be better to look for other places. Great food! read more

Ordered takeout via DoorDash and the food was prepared quickly. Pricing is decent. My only complaint was that the fried dumplings and egg rolls were saturated in oil. We informed the manager and they were willing to remake them for us. Will be back for sure. read more

Coming back here solely for the customer service. I apologize if I spell your name wrong but Kiyoshi helped me out, made great recommendations and genuinely went out of his way to make my first time here memorable. Delicious. Owner knew exactly what I needed and boy was he right. My turn came up and I shared with him my Dad was having teeth problems and to the rescue he came up with serving up soft and yummy dumplings , rice with pork belly deliciousness, and some Taiwan sausage with a big dollop of minced garlic. A cup of rich broth to soothe his ache as well. I very much appreciated the suggestions and found them myself on point and straight yummy to the gut. Thank you thank you for all the service and the light connection and serviceeeeee. Bravooo read more

Braised pork belly bowl is perfect in size for a 1 person lunch - I would say the bowl was a bit pricey for $12-13, given its size, but it's pretty good considering there aren't many similar options elsewhere in the area. The meat is well marinated and fatty parts really melt in your mouth. They also top up the sauce so you get that flavor throughout the rice as well, which is great because it tastes amazing. Popcorn chicken ($8 for small, $12 for large) tastes as expected and would recommend if you do decide to grab a rice plate or any other entree here as a side read more

Review 24/365 Challenge I 1st discovered Jojo Kitchen Taiwan Eats when i 1st visited Haven City Marketplace 3 years ago... I stumbled upon the best popcorn chicken. Usually a lot of Taiwanese places don't put basil Leaves in their popcorn chicken. I love that hint of basil in my popcorn. Brings me back to the original way of getting these delicious bites. Love that they offer different varieties of Taiwanese comfort food. From noodles to dumplings to rice dishes and tea. Really authentic Taiwanese flavoring food. You name it, They have it all. I love Asian food. I mean I am Asian lol Returned to Haven City Marketplace 2.20.25 My oldest son had a Tennis Match w a local school in Eastvale. I was gonna be posted here for a good 4 hours and haven't ate lunch yet: So decided to go on a foodie adventure myself and get my popcorn chicken fix. I'm hardly in the area around Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga. Since i was by myself, i had a lot of time to enjoy, was also really hungry and everything looked all so good. I ordered a lot and figure my son will be really hungry after his match. I'll have dinner ready for him to enjoy and easily can eat in the car. What I ordered Popcorn Chicken, Braised Pork Belly Noodle, Salt and Pepper Shrimp Rice, Jojo Bao Shrimp/Jojo Bao Chicken & passion milk tea Got the items in a timely manner. Associate was really nice and informative with my questions on the Bao and noodles. Located next to Mikes & Henry's BBQ. Looks like they are opening up a 2nd location in the REDLANDS Public Market Place. read more

The staff were very friendly and nice! Was very helpful for the picky eaters who don't like mustard greens and unsure about what they want! Food was delicious. I personally enjoyed the mustard greens, very savory. The braised pork belly was delicious, very fatty, tender and well seasoned. The popcorn chicken was good as well! I think the rice would've gone better with the braised pork belly, but I'm a noodle girlie, so I got noodles, however I'd recommend rice so it can absorb the delicious fatty flavor into the rice. read more

We visited Haven City Market for the first time this weekend and let me begin by saying what a fun spot to hang out with friends! Ample seating, lovely music, and even a fenced in outdoor area that is pet friendly. At Jojo's, we tried their popcorn chicken rice bowl. Service was fast because we went during early afternoon. The bowl comes with a generous scoop of chicken over white rice, paired with a braised egg and pickled mustard greens. The bowl was very flavorful but I took a star off because I found the chicken slightly dry. Seasoning was excellent though. I also wish it came with a side of vegetables to round out the meal. But would I order again? Yes! read more

We love Jojo's! We actually used Jojo's as the caterer for our small backyard wedding, and it was a total hit with our party. If you love Taiwanese food definitely give this place a chance. We will eat there whenever we're in the area now! The house dumplings and the pork belly are SO good. If you need a caterer for your party, Leon and his crew are so easy to work with. He worked with us on delivery, menus, even supplied everything we needed to make sure things went well. We're so grateful! Give Jojos a try! read more

Place seems to be going more downhill each time I come. Mainly with the portion sizes decreasing and the cost for the food increasing. My chicken bowl cost 16 dollars and for that much I expect to have something left over. They cut their egg in half now, much smaller bowls, but price is going up each time I go. Chicken feel more mushy with the coating than before and in general just a blah experience. For 13 you can grab some on and on next door. Used to love this place but the experience of the food is going down and cost is going up,... but they at least have their name on a bowl, read more

This review is for the Redlands location at the Redlands Public Market. I was genuinely excited to try their Taiwanese snacks and dishes. I ordered the beef noodle soup and the popcorn fish bowl, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The beef in the noodle soup was tough and chewy--nearly inedible. The popcorn fish was undercooked and still had wet batter on it, which made it unappetizing. The entire order took nearly 30 minutes and cost over $40, which didn't feel worth it given the quality. That said, I do want to highlight the two young adults working that day--they were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. I really wanted to love this place, but sadly, the food fell short. read more

Absolutely fantastic, the owner was super nice and even brought out my food I highly suggest this place! Great food and great prices!

Jojo's Kitchen is a hidden gem! I came in last night and ordered the Jojo Box, which comes with two meat options, great value for the price. I chose the Taiwanese sausage and the popcorn fish fried dumplings, and both were packed with flavor. The service was just as great as the food. The cashier, Stephanie, was so friendly and sweet + super welcoming. I asked her what kind of sauce would go well with the food, and instead of just recommending one, she gave me one of each so I could try them all and see what I liked best. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out! If you're craving authentic Taiwanese street food, this spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back to try more! Also, it was in such a cool place! Very clean and lots around to check out! read more

Taiwanese food is similar, but very different from the five or so mainland Chinese cuisines. It is similar in some ways to Sichuan in spice, but also unique enough to gives us something special, like deep fried popcorn chicken. Yum My wife and I came here one evening to try Haven City Market's great foodie places. It's one gigantic food court, minus the retail mall and came away very impressed. The food options run the gambit, from various Asians foods to tasty desserts, to Hot Dogs and even a Crêpes place. But our favorite in Haven City was JoJo's. Maybe, I'm just missing our old Taiwanese tea place back in Phoenix. But both JoJo's and Fusion Tea Lounge in Mesa AZ makes the best popcorn chicken. read more

Very good eats. Some good authentic Chinese food, I was happy with both dishes. Got the braised pork belly and popcorn chicken over rice. Braised pork belly flavor was delicious and contained good amount of fat which, for a dish like this, I prefer. Awful. The beef noodle soup was basically swimming in a pool of oil. They were able to remake it, but it still was not edible.

This restaurant was located inside the New Haven City food court and there was plenty of parking in the lot. They have a lot of different deals happening everyday as well for a pretty decent price. After ordering at the counter, you receive a buzzer. The food did come out quickly in 10 minutes. Dan Dan Noodle- Plenty of meat given and very flavorful! Popcorn Chicken- The chicken was in big chunks and I wished a bit more spicy. But the meat was tender and crispy on the outside. Beef Noodle Soup- They have chili sauce on the side if asked for. The broth was very flavorful (a bit salty) but it only came with two pieces of meat that wasn't a full chunk either. So it ended up being just noodle soup. read more

This was once my go to spot in the Haven market...But the past 2 visits have me doubting this establishment. The salt and pepper shrimp used to be my favorite fried salt n pepper fix. Jojo is not longer an affordable place. We had stopped by to check out any new stalls at the food hall and i saw that Jojo had a deal for 2 dishes for $25. It seems like a deal but when i was handed the bag i thought they had forgotten my other dish. To my surprise the order was complete, but it is like half the size of previous orders. It took two bowl cartons to equal the size of the previous portion. Take a look at the picture and see for yourself. DO NOT PLACE THIS ORDER. I had finished my order and was left hungry. I should've tried the new loft fried chicken instead at the new stall which is a better value. Do not make the same mistake that I did. read more

There was no line or pending orders when I arrived, so I expected quick service. I ordered the pork belly bowl and a side of spicy cucumber. The pork belly bowl was ready in about five minutes, but it sat for **15 minutes** while the cook sent the cashier to retrieve a sauce for the cucumber. The cashier brought the wrong sauce, and instead of handling it himself, the cook sent her back again while he stood idle in the back. By that point, my food was cold, cold pork belly ain't it, so I requested a refund. Disappointed with the inefficiency and lack of urgency from the cook, I won't be returning to this location or giving them another chance. Don't waste your money on bad service in this economy.
