very good food !great service!new restaurant very clean!food prices are reasonable ! Free plum drinks as well!

Omg! This cost 30 bucks!! This is horrible!

I rarely give 1 star reviews but this take out is horrible! 5 stars? Really? We randomly decided to try this place since we were craving hot pot and other places near by won't pick up the phone. Horrible last min decision! FYI the yelp online order doesn't work. They will take the order but end up refunding you 30 mins later. Since we were there, we ordered a pot and paid separately - seafood mushroom soup with fatty beef which came out to be $30 including tax. You can see from the picture how little soup we got and how crappy and over cooked the food was! The ramen was super soggy. What real hot pot restaurant put ramen in with the soup for take out! Come on! You should know better! We literally got maybe a cup of soup? And the soup leaked into the bag and we had to savage the soup from the bag and still only had one cup! Shrimp was super rubbery from being so over cooked. The fatty beef was dry and did not taste fresh. We end up adding our own ramen and beef ball and fish ball in and still the pot was a mess with everything over cooked, soggy and rubbery! I can make a WAY better hot pot at home myself for half the price! Please avoid!

One pot per person, no sharing!

This place deserves 4 star in Rancho area. We ordered the spicy pot and the soup base is flavorful. Raw dishes are all vEry fresh. They do serve deep fried skewers which I must say is kinda disappointing. Stick with the HOT Pots! :)

We were in town to visit some friends before heading back to the Bay Area. Found this place via yelp and made reservation via the app as well. Located inside a mall, easy to find and plenty of parking. Great selections of soup base and hot pot items. we ordered sour tomato soup, spicy soup and mushroom base. All were excellent! The meats, seafood and vegetables were very fresh, thinly cut and reasonable portions. We also tried their fried skewers and I have to say I was impressed with it, sometime fried might put people off thinking it's not healthy but they must have some secret ways or ingredients they use which made the skewers taste like they were off the grill..... we were impressed. Overall a great experience dinning here at red hot. Price is reasonable and servers were very attentive and made some great suggestions on what to order. At one point she even told us we might have ordered too much for party of three. Don't forget to check in on yelp to get a free plate of beef! We will be back for sure!

    Quality u can see.

Finally find one hot pot: Clean, clear, good food.good quality, Good service.Really fair price for what you got! Top rank Hot pot in Rancho area In my mind!! Will be back again!

All finished. Super satisfied with my desire of spicy.

Super satisfied with my desire for spicy. The house special is the hot sour soup base. Will come again.

This place was great. Very clean. Great service. Ordered the mushroom and vegetable combo with the mushroom broth. Only thing is offering some vegetarian broth options would be recommended. The mushroom broth here is made with a bone broth that was tasty. The condiment bar was fresh with a nice offering of sauces. This is a great new place if you want last chinese food and dont want to drive all the way to SGV.

We finally had the time to check out the new hotpot place in Rancho Cucamonga next to the 99 Ranch Market. If you are looking for authentic Chinese hotpot look no more. Excellent choices of ingredients and hotpot base. The prices are reasonable too. Only one waitress but she was very friendly and helpful. She brought us everything we needed quickly. We will be back!

Pork belly slices and Rice Cake

I had a great time with my friends here! We got to have individual pots where we could pick our own soup bases. As a meat lover, I have to say the meat slices are so well cut and so pretty! The pork and beef were not too thick that it was too hard to chew nor too thin that you couldn't feel the texture. It was just right! They also gave a fair portion for the price. This definitely satisfies my meat craving. And the veggies are also fresh too. Definitely would recommend!

    Menu 2/2

This personal hotpot place is new but the food is fresh and the service is friendly. Everyone gets their own pot and can pick their own soup base. The tomato sour soup base was a phenomenal blend of sweet, sour and a tad spicy! Large portions are generally really large and can be shared between 4 or more people. The beef tendon balls, quail eggs, and the three kind of meat combo are my favorites.

    Spicy soup base.

The food is fresh and delicious here. I love the spicy one so much. My husband and I ordered a combo, the food is just right.

This new restaurant offers various broths with combo options. I liked that it's clean and you each have the flat tabletop electric stove you can freely control. You eat in a tall rather than flatter-sized pot. You also have the option to gather sauces and other spices such as leek sauce, minced garlic, and green onion, among many other side choice. There's also a side of soup you can help yourself with and sesame chips and shrimp crackers! I got a double combo with two sides of protein in addition to a seafood platter with vegetables. Broth was good and service was more than friendly - above and beyond with eagerness to help. I'll come back to try other soup bases.

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. I'd come back, just with lower expectations on speed and pacing. 4 stars mainly for value.

This gave us 1 lobster tale to split. Little disappointing as it says 1 tail per meal. The shrimp was great. The scallops were the absolute worst. Tasted like old milk. Really gross! The hotpot flavors were awesome! Our server Shannon I believe was her name was amazing!!! She should get a raise! The decor is really cool. Instead of corn napkin holders all over I'd done different veggies or products to go into your hotpot. Thank you for the experience.

It was organized, safe, and still such a great experience. We have been coming back ever since. If you're wondering what keeps me coming back... First, the service is incredible. There is an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair who is always so professional and kind. He carries himself with such calm confidence and respect. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but he truly stands out every single time. Second, the OPTIONS. The spread here is amazing. From sauces to fresh vegetables, noodles, seafood, fruit, and dessert, there is something for everyone. And can we talk about the watermelon? For some reason, it is always perfectly sweet. Every single time. I am a huge shrimp lover, so being able to make my own shrimp in the hot pot is a dream. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. It is such a fun experience. Pro tip: Here is the sauce combo I put together and it is chef's kiss. In a bowl add jalapeños, cucumbers, hot chili, chili oil, sesame oil, and ponzu sauce. Then top it with fresh cilantro. It is so fresh, spicy, tangy, and delicious. You will thank me later. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, not overwhelmingly crowded, and consistently delivers great food and service, this is the place to go. We have been loyal ever since we found it, and it never disappoints.

Quite Frankly it's unbeatable if you do a dollar to food quality to variety ratio. So I went with a Tom Yum base. They had great kimchi here, the hot pot content bar was very atypical of a Malatang place. Cuts of beef were ok, lamb ok. I mean, if you weren't lazy you could pull off the same thing at home, nothing fascinating. 'specially after patronizing Temple City's Migaya Wagyu Shabu Shabu House.....two totally different worlds you can actually taste. The Indonesian Hospitality here was excellent. Servers take extra effort to treat you like a house guest. And guess the highlight is the ice cream cup at the end. Overall, id say this place is better priced at 10% off.

There were a lot of neat topping options that you can add to your bowl like a little fortune bag which I assume is made from tofu skin and a fish paste. I also thought the pricing was really good compared to other places. My bowl was around 1.4 lbs and it was $21. After you're done eating you go to pay at the register which is also the one you go to to weigh your bowl before you sit down. There was another customer waiting to weigh his bowl while we were waiting to pay so the line situation was a little awkward. The rice is really delicious It tastes much better than my own steamed rice at home. The fried skewers are all in the refrigerator. You need to take them to the clerk by yourself. Service was never their strength, but we glanced over it since it's the only descent shabu shabu restaurant on the area. Over the past few months, service has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Our final straw was being seated and left unacknowledged for 10 minutes. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.
