For starters, This place is family style! Great for couples, families/groups, and really hungry ppl! Large portions that can be shared or have them as leftovers! This will be a great place for meal prepping (just an idea). We ordered so much food and it was a great price for all of us. Celebrating the birthday of my friend's dad was perfect. Ohhh please try the FROG if you have never had it. I promise it's delicious!! Service was very efficient, polite, and reassuring when making sure our order was correct prior to cooking. Anywho! Great place! REALLY GREAT! You must order something with Chili it's flavorful heat!

From the moment you open the door and you look in, you will know that you are going to be in for a good experience, the clean floors and likewise tables, the sparse decor and soft music it's just the beginning, The host was promptly to welcome me and offered a seat. The only item that brings you back to modern times is the "scan to order" display. As you can see by the picture, the portions are just perfect, the flavor of the black bean sauce and the sweetness of the red and yellow peppers makes a great combination! I asked for spicy oil to add some heat, what I got was a delightful "tapenade like" spicy sauce that made my day!!! The small details!!!

First let me say, kudos for this restaurant has the gut to make authentic very spicy Hunan style food in Rancho Cucamonga. It's so spicy that both my husband and I were eating and tearing and eating more. We ordered picked radish with smoked pork and beer duck stew. Finished both with some rice and tears.

3 meat dishes 70% pepper and onion 30% meat half way through eating Im left with 3 plates of pepper and onion and costed $60 三个肉菜七成辣椒和洋葱三成肉吃到一半发现就剩3盘辣椒和洋葱还不便宜

This is the best Real authentic Hunan foods in town. I haven't had Duck Blood for over ten years and finally I have eaten here in the States. That Boiled fish is my favorite and I have to go San Diego if I want this style of boiled fish. If anyone wants to try this boiled fish, you only have two places in California either this place or go SD. I so happy that we have the best authentic Chinese (Hunan style) restaurant in our town.

I ordered some mapo tofu and rice to go and was really happy with it! It was your classic Szechuan style mapo tofu and tasted great with rice mixed in. Would definitely order again!

Spicy beef and beef with onion. Don't know the names of the dish but the spicy one seemed so much better. White rice.

Customer service was good. Lady was very kind. Different style of Chinese but it was good. I'm guessing it more authentic then Americanized and I like it. The employee barely knows English so be patient with her. She is kind.

Great Chinese food. If you like heat then this is the place for you. Very extensive menu and also some non-spicy options. I found this place while charging my Tesla.

Im not Chinese and i blindly went tho check this place out. I've learned HUNAN Chinese food is SPICY. Turn your face red, gives you a runny nose spicy. Also CRISPY is not really crispy. I ordered the Tasty Crispy Pork Belly. (Verbally and also pointed to the words on the menu to the non-english speaking waitress.) I was rubbery pork stomach..not the thick cut, bacony goodness i was expecting. The Crispy Noddles looked like chow mein. The food WAS very flavorful. We also said to the waitress "we are ready for the check now", and she disappeared to the kitchen to fill up take out boxes full of rice. Did she not understand us? After 15 minutes, I had to get up, stand at the cashier & wave to get her attention. If you love spicy food and know all about the Hunan dishes they have, go for it! If you speak their language, even better. I wont be back though.

Top is what I got, bottom is what they posted, and confirmed over the phone.

I am going to start with this is a must go place! 10000000% a hidden gem you won't forget anytime…read moresoon. We started with the pan-fried pork buns, shumai, crystal shrimp dumplings, xiao long bao, and cartoon sweet custard buns. Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen, which got us excited right away--so many places just steam frozen items and the freshness just isn't there. There's a big window into the kitchen so you can actually watch the chefs making each item specifically for you. The decor inside is trendy and really adds to the experience. There are flowers on the wall that are actually sewn with thread creating designs--unlike anything I've seen before. The seating is all in great shape and not neglected at all. Each table is stocked with soy sauce, black vinegar, chili sauce, and garlic. The staff is friendly and attentive. There's a giant projector screen that comes down along the wall with a projector and LED lighting throughout. I asked and they said they can do karaoke, and they also played World Cup games on it. There are several TVs playing various sports as well. Pan-fried pork buns - 10/10 This was my first time ever having them pan-fried and I'm glad I listened to the waiter's suggestion. The dipping sauce elevated the dish and brought it full circle. Being pan-fried gave them a slight crisp that was perfect. Shumai - 10/10 Just delicious. Crystal shrimp dumplings - 10/10 These were made fresh. I've had these at other dim sum places and it's been hit or miss--sometimes soggy, sometimes the wrapper is hard. That wasn't the case here at all. Perfection wrapped around shrimp. Xiao long bao - 10/10 I've had dumplings at places like Din Tai Fung, and I honestly believe these are better. The broth inside was bursting with flavor and the exterior was fresh and made perfectly. I'll be dreaming of these. Cartoon sweet custard buns - 9/10 These were delicious and so cute. The only thing I would have changed is giving the inside a bit more custard (personal preference--some people might think the balance is perfect). The rest of the bao was cooked perfectly, so soft, and the design made the experience that much more memorable. I highly recommend eating here. This is going to be one of our regular spots from now on.

I got the pineapple tea and it was so good. Service was great, and the place is really cute with the cherry blossom tree. Someone was celebrating a birthday while we were there, and they played happy birthday through the whole restaurant with special lights--such a fun touch! My only tiny gripe is no full bar, just beer and wine. That pineapple tea was so good it just needed a shot of vodka in it. Definitely coming back!

Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Every chicken pieces were crunchy and no bad pieces in this batch. This is not your panda Express orange chicken or Panda Inn, this is your Mr Chows Beverly hills orange chicken. I also like that you can see the dumplings being made through the open kitchen. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the plastic water pitcher they brought to the table had some visible mineral residue from what looked like hard water buildup. It wasn't something I wanted to see on a pitcher being used for drinking water, and it's an easy detail to fix. Aside from that, the food was really good and I'd definitely come back. It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.
