    Spicy Beef Noodle Soup
    Jonnell T.

Had the dumplings and the spicy beef noodle soup; I thought they were both pretty good. Next time I come, I'll have to try more but I really did enjoy the soup. The dumplings were good, there was nothing that overly stood out, but they were definitely good.

This place has been on my bookmarks for a while. I arrived at opening and orderly as quickly as possible to make an event nearby. Service was typical Chinese which is to say not much effort to make you feel welcome but fine. The interior is simple and clean with high ceilings and pop music playing lightly. Got beef roll, spicy beef noodles, pork and cabbage pot potstickers, and xiaolongbao. Food came out as it was ready with the noodles being first. Portions were smaller than I expected. See photos. Noodles were smaller than even a typical stingy ramen place for $16.99 (and tasted heavily of MSG), beef roll was one roll for $11 (though tasty), and potstickers were small and honestly nothing to write home about. XLB was a portion of 6 for $11 so I knew it was gonna be small but it's usually 8 or even 10 at other places.

We were on our way home from LAS VEGAS & actually wanted to go to SOUP N FRESH but, the line was so long that we decided to try a nearby beef noodle soup and dumpling place we found on YELP... BEEF NOODLE SOUP: 8/10 The broth was flavorful but, I just needed a bit more sodium so I added a little bit of soy sauce and it was enjoyable. 2 points off because the beef was chewy and the noodles did not taste fresh... PAN FRIED BEEF DUMPLINGS: 10/10 My hubby really enjoyed it very much. It was crispy in on the outside and juicy on the inside... XLB: 8/10 It was nice and juicy but, the flour was chewy and the size of each XLB was small. It almost looked like it came from a frozen section of a grocery store... SERVICE: B+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The guy who took our order kept asking for what number our items were when we asked for the Pan Fried Beef Dumplings. The guy who served our food was very polite and friendly... AMBIANCE: 8/10 It felt almost like a cafeteria but, with table service. I really like the fact that there was a SAUCE STATION... KEEP ROCKN DUMPLING MASTER!

Busy and unattenative, pretty terrible when our order didn't come after solid 30 min after ordering. I asked one of the waiters to check on our order bc it is obviously taking too long and unusual. He told me we just have to wait and didn't bother to check. After another 10 or so minutes, I had to ask another (probably manager) again then she finally went to check it out. It was very clear by then something went wrong, the order was given to others or just wasn't put into the kitchen. We were so disappointed bc we had to wait even longer. Bad management where crew is overworked and again lack of interest to customers' concerns, requests. Quality of the food is on par not memorable.Definitely overpriced do not recommend. There are other dumplings places in Ranch which I would rather go.

I was craving a beef noodle soup and a beef pancake roll and went with Dumpling Master since we were at Sprouts across the way. Unfortunately they don't sell beef pancake rolls. Their soup was tasty and the beef chunks were tender and tasty. I went with the dark broth and the hand pulled noodles. The hand pulled noodles were almost like wide ribbon noodles. I got my order to-go and it was ready when I arrived. I would recommend microwaving it a little so the broth is hot. Overall, it was good! The noodles were my favorite part and they are fast with to-go orders.

Was really excited to try this place, seeing that they have really good reviews. I took it as a good sign that there was a bit of a wait when we got there on a Sunday night! However, once we sat down and our server told us they were offering a free drink in exchange for a review, we started feeling a little skeptical. Still had hopes the food would be good at this point! We ordered the xiao long bao, cucumber salad, spicy wontons, and a spicy beef noodle soup. They brought us the pork and shrimp dumplings instead of the XLB in error and gave it to us for free, so that was nice. The food is decent but nothing really stood out to me as amazing. The xiao long bao wrapper here was really thick and there wasn't any soup inside, when it's supposed to be a distinct characteristic! We left feeling a little bit disappointed, having expected more due to the highly rated reviews that may be a little inflated. Side note, the floor here can be very slippery depending on what shoes you're wearing. Feels like a hazard!

I recommend every single one of these. Epic

This is one of those places that you really don't want to write about on yelp because it's so amazing and you're afraid that it will blow up too much and you'll be having to wait hours to get in. But. I suppose it's no secret how amazing this place is. You decided to order a little bit of everything and not one single thing on the menu was a disappointment. We ordered the cucumber salad as an appetizer, and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend it. We also ordered (and I recommend every one of these): Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, Jang Jang Noodle, Beef & Onion Potstickers, and last but not least Shrimp.& Pork Dumplings. Wow. That's all I can say... wow. We loved every single item and only wished our stomachs weren't full because the flavor had us wanting more food.

Honestly i went to this place excited to try something new but it was definitely one of those places that you hate you tried because you could have gotten something better! The service was good, we were quickly seated and they took our orders. It had people so i can see why it has 4 star rating, but idk why it has 4 stars. The cucumbers were prob the best thing of the meal and that's a sad thing to say. The chow mein was mostly cabbage, and i like mine more crispy it was just so soft, everything was overcooked, felt like a meal i make at home when i was first learning to make chow mein. The dumplings were so disappointing. They tasted like Costco frozen dumplings they reheated. If your soup dumplings aren't good can you truly call yourself dumpling master. Honestly i wouldn't come here again, there so many other places with much better food. All they really have good for them is their decent service and decent seating. You serve yourself ur sauce and they don't even give you spoons for the soup dumplings... just not what i was expected. Heavily disappointed.

Good noodle and decent dumpling place. We had a large party and they were attentive and accommodating. Love that they have a self-served sauce bar for garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, and chili sauce. Steamed dumplings - meaty but thick skin 7/10 Potsticker- fresh and hot but no crispy bottom, also thick skin 7/10 Spicy beef noodle soup- delicious and not spicy, came with plenty of veggies and meat. I enjoyed it with their regular noodles 8/10 Juicy pork bun - drenched in sauce with raw red onions, little meat 6/10 XLB-it came out hot but I expected some soup juices from my bite and unfortunately it didn't 7/10 Cucumber salad- great portions and refreshing, but not crunchy and on the lighter side. Hard to mess up on this dish but it wasn't the best 8/10 Spiced beef tendons- great portion and yummy as a cold dish to share 9/10 Beef roll- pretty good, a tad bit dry 8/10 Brown sugar boba milk tea- boba was decent and not soggy but milk tea was way too milky 2/10

Was looking for a local and more affordable dumpling location and Dumpling Master hit every mark. Everything was so delicious! We are 100% coming back in the near future. Service was tentative. Seemed like a family restaurant. Everything seemed to be made fresh for each table which is always a plus. Nothing special about the ambiance of the place but felt comfortable. Cucumber salad was so fresh. I love Taro milk tea but haven't had a good one in a while. This was one of my favorites I've had in a long time. The dumplings were fresh and so delicious. First time here, but will be returning to try more of the menu!!

Came back here again for lunch and it didn't disappoint yet again! Great service and great fresh food.

We waited a bit, nothing too crazy. This place is busy. The food was good but not my favorite. I would not order chow mien, I haven't found one I like. This one was ok. I did enjoy the hand pulled noodles with bak choy, chili paste and garlic. They were great.

Social media brought me here and I'm disappointed. I wouldn't personally come back. They have a sauce stand which is really just a table by the wall with soy sauce, chili oil, premixed dumpling sauce, minced garlic, black vinegar. Not sure what is in the premixed dumpling sauce but it there wasn't much flavor. 27. Cucumber Salad -only dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. Cucumbers were crisp and flavorful. 15. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup -not much flavor or spice. There wasn't any depth to their broth. Beef wasn't as tender as I'd like either. 3. Shrimp &Pork Dumpling (Boiled)- was much better than the other one we ordered. Shrimp added a little bit of crunch. But dumpling skin was way too mushy. 4. Pork& Cabbage Dumpling (Boiled)- not much flavor, dumpling skin was way too mushy. Wouldn't recommend at all. 7. Pork& Cabbage Potstickers (pan fried)- crispy skirt added a little bit of texture back into the dumpling which made it much tolerable. 13. Xiao Long Bao -worse I've ever had. Bao skin was dry and you expect some pork juice inside when you bite into it. It had none.. also don't recommend ordering this.

Recommend the potstickers. The spicy and sour soup is passable though. Parking in back with Tesla chargers available.

First off, finding the place was a bit frustrating. There's no clear restaurant sign, and since it's located in a busy shopping plaza with lots of other spots, it was hard to pinpoint. We ended up having to park and walk around for a while before finally finding it. As for the food, my wife and I found it a bit overwhelming. We ordered our dishes mild, but they were still much spicier than expected. A lot of the flavors seemed to revolve around chili oil, which made it feel less unique to us after a few bites. On top of that, the food was noticeably oily and on the saltier side, which made it harder to enjoy the meal as we kept going. To be fair, this style of cooking is rooted in Szechuan cuisine, which is known for its signature "mala" flavor--a mix of heat from chili peppers and the numbing sensation from Sichuan peppercorns. It's definitely a distinctive and authentic flavor profile, especially if you're not used to it. Overall, I didn't hate the experience, but I didn't love it either. If you're a spice lover, and the oily food, you'll probably enjoy it a lot more than we did. For us, it was more of a one-and-done kind of spot.

Checked on Yelp and came across Dumpling Artisan. Saw some comments saying it was similar to Din Thai. I felt that this place was better. The smashes cucumber was massive and so delicious. Perfect amount of sauce and flavor. Also got the crab Rangoons which were perfect and loved the sauce. Had the classic pork xiao, wonton in chili sauce and the chicken steamed dumpling. Everything tasted so good and fresh. I enjoyed every part of this meal. The staff was so friendly and our order came out quickly. We also got one or their teas, mango passion fruit green tea and it was soooo good! Also love that it's right next to Haven City so you can stroll over there after for dessert.

This place is a little small inside with limited seating. If you have a party of 6 or more definitely call ahead to make sure there's seating available. The decor is definitely Asian inspired and I love that you can watch them prepare your food through the glass. We went inside to place a to go order. They gave us a menu immediately and were available to answer our questions. We spent a little over $73 and ordered Mongolian Beef, 2 orders of Pork Wontons in Chili Oil, Salt & Pepper Crispy Chicken, Pork & Cabbage Pan Fried Dumplings, and an order of Xiao Long Bao. The Mongolian beef didn't taste like Mongolian Beef but it was full of flavor. It had a sweet but savory taste and the meat was super tender. Unfortunately it did not come with rice and I didn't know. It's ok, because I don't each much of it. The pan fried dumplings had a nice crispy exterior but soft inside. The meat veggie mixture was full of flavor. The Xiao Kong Bao had a nice subtle broth inside and it was quite refreshing. I honestly didn't care for the pork wontons in chili oil. They did not lack flavor but there was a spice on it similar to tajin that clashed a bit in flavor with the chili oil. Also, I couldn't really taste the meat and just tasted chewy dumpling dough. The salt and pepper crispy chicken was full of flavor. The only downfall was the ride home made it not so crispy but that's not a flaw in the food. A suggestion would be to cut holes in the packaging so it doesn't steam itself as much from the heat. Overall, great food and great service. I will definitely go back.

Sizzling plates used to be THE big thing in the early and mid 2000s with lots of boba places having them as as specialty (RIP Coffee Break and MJ's Tea House), but now aside from a handful of businesses and Pepper Lunch, they're much more rare. Glad that the IE has Sizzlin' Place as one of their sizzling plate heavy hitters. Aside from the sizzling plates, they have other menu items including fried appetizers, soup and dried noodles, and sides like fries and takoyaki, but if you're going to a sizzling plate place, you gotta get a sizzling plate, you know? That's decorum. Service is welcoming and friendly, and efficient in the safest way possible with the scorching hot plates. Seating can get limited due to the nature of the meal, but I've never had an issues the times I chose to eat here. Ambiance can be relaxed and chill when the Haven City Market isn't busy, but during weekends or rush hour, it can get a bit hectic and there may be a bit of a wait. A staple that you can never go wrong with is the hot plate beef and if you're a carnivore or if you're sharing, you have to upsize and upgrade it. The slices of beef here are just slightly thicker than what I'm used to at Pepper Lunch, but that just means it'll shrink less and get less stuck on the hot plate as well. You get a hearty serving of rice with some corn on top, pepper, and green onions. Like other sizzling plate places, you can always get pasta or udon instead of rice, if you're feeling a bit more adventurous. Super hot, filling meal that's easy to eat. Not the most flavorful sometimes, at least with what I order, and in comparison to other competitors, but hits the spot when need be.
