Today we had lunch at Hot Pot Mini It's our second time visiting, and we really like it! The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and they even offer unlimited free tea with boba of your choice We'll definitely be back soon

Came with 7 friends and we had good time! Just a heads up if you come with a large group everyone will get their food at different times. I got mine last and half of them were done eating by then. Everyone's food (without drink) came out to be around $20. Mine with a drink came out to $33.

House Special, you can choose spicy level and it is not Mala, Taiwanese special is Mala just fyi.

This place has a family owned small restaurant vibe, the family was SOOOOO nice, sweet, and attentive. Every single staff member The food wad good, quality hot pot. The broth, the items, it was a good amount and tasted quality. Their all you can drink boba was also really good. Boba soft and chewy but not too sweet and the drinks were actually good quality tea for all you can drink I was surprised. Better than quickly or other all yoy can drink boba places it was not too sweet and the tea flavor was strong and yummy! 12/10, will recommend and will be back! Please support this adorable family restaurant so they can expand and add more themed decor to this cute place!

One of my family's go to spots in the Ontario area! Building our own hot pots is always so much fun, and I love how everyone can get a meal customized to their tastes and preferences, with preset options too. The BYO boba bar also looks cool, though I've never tried it. I liked how the hot pots are served on the burners so that the food and broth stays warm and fresh throughout the entire meal, unlike most malatang places that serve it in a bowl. We've celebrated a birthday here and the service was spectacular- refrigerating and bringing out the cake and providing a lighter, plates, and forks for us to enjoy it.

This is one of my first times leaving a review because I normally only do in a really good or really bad situation. And this place is SOOOOO good. I their broths are amazing and all food is cooked to perfection! You have a choice between build your own (which i got) or a pre-set pot for people looking to try some new things. Our pots were cooked super fast which was perfect after getting our drinks. WHICH ARE ALL YOU CAN DRINK!! As someone who drinks more tea than eats rice, this just became my favorite spot. Our pots were surprisingly cheap, the lady told me the system accidentally charged me extra and when i saw the price. Thats how much i originally anticipated spending, so seeing our check being so cheap for such high quality food was so amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough for both adventurous eaters & picky eaters!

This is a good place to create your own hot pot and boba drink. This time we got the sukiyaki and the miso hot pots with 3 create your own drinks. The combo man was about $20 a person which was ok. The create your boba is a great value as the drink was pretty big and you could mix and match your toppings and drinks. The hot pot was pretty standard and would meet your craving for it. They had two different doing sauces that enchanted the flavor or of the meats and vegetable.

I liked it. A slightly different kind of hot pot place. You can either build your own pot and you'll be charged by the weight. Or they have a nice choice of preset hot pots. They put a little flame canister under the pot to heat it up. Unfortunately there's no way to turn it down so if it gets too hot you can just ask them to put the flame out. My friends made their own, but I got the preset Lamb hot pot. It was good! A good portion amount. I finished it but I can see 2 lighter eaters sharing one pot. The broth was very tasty. I only got the mild but it still had a little spice to it. Will probably get medium next time. They also have a neat little boba station where you can make your own. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Nice to see more hot pot options in the IE. Inside was simple. A few tables for seating but still a good place for small groups. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the shopping center lot.

Very nice little restaurant. We went on a Monday early afternoon so we were seated quickly. The food was delicious and was a nice portion! I ordered the Beef Pot with mild spicy and a side of rice.

Hot Pot Mini Workshop was a cool experience but nothing that really wowed me. This place is similar to Boiling Point, Tasty Pot, Red Flame, and ZZ Hotpot. The only difference is that you can build your own. You can choose the ingredients that goes in it or you can just pick one of their creations. We choose to make our own. All of their ingredients are located by the register. They had most veggies and most of the popular meatballs. For meats, I remember them having pork, beef, fish, and shrimp. Many of the items were frozen. They also had ramen and your meal comes with either rice or vermicelli. There is a minimum order of one pound. A pound is $16.99. I had a hard time filling up my bowl because a pound was much more than I can eat. But I took quite a bit home after I was full. There were a variety of broths to choose from and you can pick your level of spiciness. I went with the Taiwanese spicy flavor with mild spice. It was good but I wish I got it spicier and I wish it had a little more flavor. The pork and beef meat I got were chewy and tasted too lean for my liking. But everything else was cool. Pricing was affordable. Oh, and they do charge extra if you want more rice. Our food came out quick after being cooked. They bring it out to you with a flame underneath that they can put out if you like. Parking was easy since there is a lot out in front.

My friends and I came here primarily for the DIY boba station. They had a buy 2 get 1 free deal when we went which worked out perfectly for my group of 6! This was my first time going to a place like this so the concept was interesting and fun to be able to pick your own flavors of tea and toppings! There aren't the most tea flavor options but they do have all the solid ones and you could mix anything together and try any combinations you'd like. You fill up your cup and go back to the counter for them to seal it up for you! The tea itself was decent but for the price and how much you get, I'd say it's worth the try and we got no ice as well so we would get a more bang for our buck! It hit the spot for me and lasted me a while too :3

Found this place on Sunday for our lunch. The place is quite decent, and what made this place quote decent because they offer create your own hot pot where you will be charged by pound as well there is self service beverage (no refill) that has so many options to choose from. Since I was not in the mood to choose the item from make your own, I decided to order from the menu provided. You will be asked level of spiciness upon ordering set menu. The portion itself reflects great with the price. Definitely will be back when I am in the area to try 'make your own' one.

It was organized, safe, and still such a great experience. We have been coming back ever since. If you're wondering what keeps me coming back... First, the service is incredible. There is an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair who is always so professional and kind. He carries himself with such calm confidence and respect. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but he truly stands out every single time. Second, the OPTIONS. The spread here is amazing. From sauces to fresh vegetables, noodles, seafood, fruit, and dessert, there is something for everyone. And can we talk about the watermelon? For some reason, it is always perfectly sweet. Every single time. I am a huge shrimp lover, so being able to make my own shrimp in the hot pot is a dream. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. It is such a fun experience. Pro tip: Here is the sauce combo I put together and it is chef's kiss. In a bowl add jalapeños, cucumbers, hot chili, chili oil, sesame oil, and ponzu sauce. Then top it with fresh cilantro. It is so fresh, spicy, tangy, and delicious. You will thank me later. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, not overwhelmingly crowded, and consistently delivers great food and service, this is the place to go. We have been loyal ever since we found it, and it never disappoints.

Shabu Wara has been our go to shabu shabu spot since moving to this area and it's been great. Service was never their strength, but we glanced over it since it's the only descent shabu shabu restaurant on the area. Over the past few months, service has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Our final straw was being seated and left unacknowledged for 10 minutes. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.

We got a rich pork broth tonkatsu soup and it was pretty tasty. However, the service folks forgot to first give us bowls, then forgot to give us sauces we ordered, and then never check up on us if we needed more soup. They did seem pretty short staffed though and when they did have time to pay attention, they seemed nice about it. The food quality was pretty decent but the portion size for the price you pay doesn't really cut it for me. I am a big hot pot fan and frequent so many in the hot pot mecha that is San Gabriel Valley that this place would not do too well with its pricing. However, being in Eastvale, I can't knock them off too much for that. The one thing that also makes me ponder is that the owner of cravings and thus this shop also partly owns 99 ranch across the walkway. So when I ordered edemame, they said they didn't have any since this morning. But isn't the market right next door and the owner owns both? Maybe I'm wrong but seemed like a golden opportunity to levy your competitive advantage of opening cravings next to 99 ranch. In either case, I will give it a 4 for now but I'm not sure I will return for now.

Great for anyone looking for a healthy meal or those with dietary restrictions. I can see a lot of room for accommodations here. Shout out to Tyler. He was not the main server but he was helpful and nice throughout the experience I had the Wagyu Brisket ($24.50/4oz) as my protein, the Paitan chicken broth, with white rice, and udon noodles. The meal comes with veggies, which includes napa, kabacho, mushrooms, carrots and bokchoy. So much wagyu brisket for 4 oz. I thought it was more, but I saw them weighing it out and slicing it freshly so I know it's on point. The marbling on the beef was incredibly sexy. Simple, healthy and delicious! I had some constructive feedback but I was able to convey it with their manager and they were open to improve so I'll let them off the hook during a soft opening phase.
