Rachel, our server, provided excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made our first visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place! We'll definitely be back. Thank you, Rachel!

They will even give you lots of extra napkins without prompting. I can honestly say I have never experienced that. Moreover, they offer complimentary aprons, hair ties, phone covers, and lens cleaners for all of their guests! The ambiance was very nice. It is very clean and chic. Unfortunately, the ambiance can get overstimulating. Because of the live noodle dances, the music can get loud and it is difficult to communicate with the staff. Moreover, the unlimited seasoning and snack bar is placed in a less-than convenient spot. There is very little space for people to wait for their turn, and it gets even more cramped when there are servers and the robot moving around to cater to tables. The robot also ran into me while I was standing at the snack bar (no injury but it was awkward and cramped!) Lastly, the food has its high and low points for me. To put it simply, I believe this is a restaurant that incorporates the ambiance into the pricing- it is expensive! I went with my girlfriend and spent a little under $200 for our dinner (tip included). We ordered 3 cuts of meat, a few sides, and 2 broths. The meats were of great quality. Unfortunately you're playing $20+ for a single tray of about 10 thin slices of meat so it quickly adds up! The broth was the low point in my opinion. Let's just say the unlimited sauce/seasoning bar is a MUST for you to have a satisfying flavor. Moreover, they re-fill the broth with some type of broth water that isn't seasoned like the broth they bring you at the beginning. They essentially water-down your broth when they refill. For reference, my spicy pork broth was yellow-orange yet the refill was white and cloudy. The difference in color and flavor was night and day! I have only been to one other hot pot place and it was a better overall experience for a fraction of the price! Overall 3/5. To sum it up, upper scale ambiance and meat quality, but I value all you can eat meat over higher quality meat. The broth should be the selling point but it just falls short. The setting can be loud and overstimulating. Personally I would rather spend 35 dollars a person on all you can eat hot pot than this fancier spot. The servers are the star of the restaurant without a doubt.

Take a friend that can eat spicy though, you will have fun dipping your meat and vegetable in the chilly hot pot broth. Today, my coworkers finally persuaded me to give it a try since the weather is cooler & I feel very silly now. The exterior and interior decor of this place is on point with the bold red and lanterns. It really sets the mood. Service was exceptional during lunch (wasn't too busy). The staff helped change out dirty plates often. Everything was clean. They were helpful in explaining the AYCE menu. The only problem I experienced is how slow the virtual menu was to load and long buffers between each click. At one point it stopped working to reorder so the waitress had to do it manually anyway. We got the half tomato (light spice) and half spicy soup (mild) base and both were really good! I might upgrade to med next time. The meat quality was great, esp the 1 wagyu plate per person that comes with AYCE. Surprisingly the fatty beef was so tender as well. Even the mala beef didn't hurt going in...or out. The bellflower veggie is a must try. Never had this crunchy vegetable before. Love the self serve bar with so many desserts and Chinese chips options.

Thanks to my son in law we got to try a new spot. How Rowland Heights has changed since the 80's…read more Just love the rich food scene. Be forewarned. Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.

The restaurant advertises All You Can Eat (AYCE), but in reality the selections are quite limited…read more Only vegetables, meat skewers, and soybean-based items (cold tofu, tofu skin, etc) are truly unlimited, and these are self-serve from their fridge at any time. However, SLICED proteins such as sliced ribeye beef, sliced prime USDA beef, and sliced pork are restricted to 3 dishes per order, must be order by request, and are prepared in the kitchen. Portions are small and not sufficient for two or more people. When we tried to order a second round, only two dishes arrived out of the 3. On the third attempt, nothing arrived at all. On top of that, the wait time for sliced proteins was extremely long. While the menu is promoted as AYCE, the service appears to intentionally slow down and limit access to the main protein items, which is misleading and disappointing.

I appreciated that they took the time to explain how everything worked and recommended a few popular options. Everything I picked out looked really fresh, from the vegetables to the proteins. For a self service place, everything was very clean and well organized, which made the experience even better. You can tell they keep their ingredients properly maintained and the area tidy. I ordered the bone broth with medium spice, and it definitely had some heat. It was flavorful, rich, and had a nice balance between savory and spicy without being overwhelming. Overall, great first impression. Fresh ingredients, solid spice level, a clean environment, and friendly staff who make the process easy for newcomers. I would definitely come back again
