I love how convenient this location is. It's ina little kiosk in the center across the street from the theater and between the yard house and cpk. The lady there was super sweet and I love how fresh the tea was. Also the boba balls were perfect. I've had them too too chewy or too hard. Boba stand in the middle of Victoria Gardens. Their drinks are pretty good. The staff was very friendly, and it did not take long to get my order. I will say, though, the drinks are on the sweeter side, so if you are not a big fan of sweetness, I would suggest adjusting the sugar levels. It was very refreshing to have their drink on a warm summer morning. The lines were not too long, but I can see how they can be busy at night. It's a small outdoor kiosk located in Victoria gardens and surprisingly enough it has some pretty decent refreshers coming out of there. I ordered two drinks they were the strawberry Uji matcha latte and their Hokkaido milk tea. The strawberry matcha was good and the flavors blended really well with that added kick from the matcha. I'm just a fan of Hokkaido so this was already a winner mentally but my buds the tastebuds confirmed it was legit. Overall, drinks are decent but the service is a hit and miss at times but what do you expect when it's coming from a kiosk. No designated seating so you have to find a bench or the grass. On a final note, if you're coming from a major area code don't expect these drinks to be as good as those you're use to if you know where I'm getting at. I can't believe I've missed this place but I'm glad I found out about it today! The menu is more limited than other boba shops I've been to. I think it has to deal with the location being a small kiosk and all. I like it though, makes it easier for me to choose from as I'm not bombarded by too many options. I got the peach passion fruit green tea with crystal boba and lychee pineapple soda with crystal boba. Both were a little bit sweet but after being in the hot sun and the ice started to melt, it was perfect! They were both super refreshing with good flavors. I definitely like the peach passion fruit more than the soda. The service wasn't too friendly but it was efficient and quick. I would come back. Next time I'll try the grape cheese drink they were advertising! P.s . Their cups are so sturdy and nice! I love the cap option. I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea with 25% sweetness and less ice. The drink was smooth, creamy, and refreshing for a hot summer day, but it was a bit too sweet for me even at 25% sweetness. My friend ordered the jasmine milk tea, and she forgot to adjust the sweetness level for her drink; she commented that it was too sweet for her. Overall, I think the milk tea is decent, but the boba pearls don't have much flavor. Please note that there is a promotion to get a refill of your drink for half the price. With only 2 staff working it might take some time to get your order. In the end though, it's worth it. If you make this stop early in your visit then it's nice to get a refill for half the price. One refill for the same drink per paid full price drink. It is a little pricey to begin with but considering the drinks are served in a larger container than your average boba that makes it a good bang for the bucks. I ordered the brown sugar\caramel milk blend. Something easy, plain and simple, this time around. It is as described. Brown sugar and caramel stirred into the milk. I do like the brown sugar taste and caramel too. To have them blended was actually refreshing. It sounds really sweet but it was not overwhelmingly sweet. I've had the caramel mocha a few times too. A drink blend good for those warmer days. Creamy smooth and delicious. Some times I'll just sit around the park there, work on my phone or wait for the ladies to do their shopping, then get a refill. I pass this place every time I'm at Victoria Gardens, yet never had the time to actually check it out. Today's exceptionally hot weather turned out to be the nudge I needed to finally try their drinks. I ordered the Honey Lemon Black Tea with boba at 50% sugar, which I was hoping would be refreshing, but can only describe as bizarre. Not only was it super sweet (to the point where I was genuinely curious as to how sweet the original, unaltered drink might be), but it was also equally sour. My dad ordered the Messy Milk Tea with boba, which was a milk tea with drizzles of brown sugar all along the sides of the cup. His was ordered at 50% sugar as well, but like mine, was much too sweet. It could just be that we're sensitive to sugar, but it was stomach-turning. We asked for some ice to dilute the drink, but the employee was really nice about adding more tea instead to dilute it. I was interested to see what it would be replaced with and behold Boba Ave 8090! They have a couple tables with umbrellas outside and a dog water bowl. They open at 10AM which is early for your typical boba tea shop. I came here with my dog and saw they were just setting up so I walked her around. I came to order a tea around 10:30am and they said that the boba was not ready yet and still cooking; it would be another 30 minutes. What? So the boba would be ready 1 hour after they opened?... boo. I was looking forward to ordering the Messy Milk Tea which has to have boba. I ordered a Peach Passionfruit green tea ($4.95) with Crystal Boba ($0.58) instead. With tax the total was $5.96 for a regular sized drink. The drink was refreshing and delicious; although it was heavy on the ice. There's a promotion that you would pay half the price for a refill if you got the same drink. So before I left, I got a refill so I could enjoy it at home. The lady helping me was very sweet and I put in my phone # to earn some point on their system. I earned 5 points. That same weekend, we were at Victoria Gardens and around 11AM, I made a second attempt to order the Messy Milk Tea with boba. This time around it was ready! For a regular size, it was $4.25 and with tax came out to $4.58. For me, I don't think it was anything special; way to sweet and the boba was only soft for the first 5 minutes before they turned hard and very chewy. The lady wasn't working this time so I asked a question about the point system and he didn't know what I was talking about. I didn't earn any points for my purchase..... My favorite go to drink here is the strawberry uji matcha tea with boba! It's unlike any other options, the matcha is thick and has strawberry bits on the bottom- making it so unique and tasty! As for parking, I typically park next to the parking lot next to Abercrombie/ hollister for free parking. There's usually a long line, but it goes by pretty quickly! Average tasting drinks at a premium price. We got two drinks: Sweet Potato Milk and Messy Milk Tea. The Sweet Potato Milk lacked flavor and was not much more than sugary milk with sweet potato puree. The Messy Milk Tea was a bit better. It tasted a bit like toffee and a bit creamy. A little too sweet for my taste buds though. We asked for less ice for the Sweet Potato Milk and basically got a whole cup filled to the top with ice with little amounts of actually drink. We went back to the store after we found out we been duped and was told that is just how they make their drinks, where normal ice is actually a whole cup of ice. Mind you, we got the Messy Milk Tea drink with less ice and it was actually the amount of ice you would expect from less ice. We made this point to the store owners and they just told us to go, realizing their point was flawed. By far, they have one of the best boba drinks in the Inland Empire. Their boba is always consistently soft, fresh, and squishy--never hard-chewy or stale like some other boba places. The milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and slushes are all made fresh and evenly mixed or blended. You can also adjust the sweetness level and ice level and customize your drink with other toppings/add-ons. Their customer service is always excellent, even with the sometimes extremely long lines at peak times and on the weekends.
