I like the Queen Brulee 50% sweet with extra boba, but lately I've been ordering the Double Matcha 50% sweet with boba. Ambiance: It's very cute, I like how the bobaristas personalize it a bit with Polaroids of them at the front and the Sonny Angel figures. They also play great music and have anime playing on the TV screen (no sound, just visuals). I'm biased because I love cutesy stuff and anime, but I truly feel it adds more of a personal element and it doesn't feel so corporate/boring. Parking: Located in a plaza next to a cafe. I enjoyed the Strawberry Snow (Large) and Strawberry Gon' Bananas (Non-Dairy, Large). Came around 10:45 in the morning and there was a sign that said the boba won't be ready till 11. Ordered the dragon slayer and the drink did not disappoint! I'm a total boba addict and Krak Boba has become my go-to spot. I always get the same thing: signature milk tea 75% sugar (trying to watch my sugar) but I skip the actual boba, which I know sounds weird. But when I do order boba (accidentally) it's always perfect: warm, soft, and chewy. The tea has that perfect balance where you can actually taste the black tea through the creaminess, I've been to probably four different Krak locations and they're incredibly consistent, which is rare for boba chains. You know how some places the same drink tastes completely different depending on who makes it? Not here. I'm pretty picky about this because I think if a boba shop can't nail a basic signature milk tea, they're probably not great at anything else. It's like the litmus test: if you mess up black milk tea, you're probably just bad generally. Krak passes that test with flying colors every time. This Krak location's staff is always quick and friendly, and I love that I can walk into any location knowing exactly what I'm going to get. I've been a customer of this Krak Boba since June 2023. I downloaded their app and immediately received a $2 off coupon. The Dragon Slayer (lychee slush with dragon fruit and mango bits) looked appealing to me so I ordered a large and added boba for an additional $0.75. You can adjust the sweetness in your drink on the app. With the $2 off my total came out to $5.35. I placed by order on a Friday at 11:07am and went to pick up my order with my dog. To my horror, there were zero parking spaces in this plaza at that time. This is such a terrible layout for parking and gets crowded in the mornings due to Broken Yolk being in the same plaza. Even the curbside pickup parking spaces were taken. I literally had to pull my car over with my dog inside with the hazards on to run inside to get my drink, which was already melted. After that experience, it really deterred me from coming again and the next time I came was February 2024 when I ordered another Dragon Slayer because they had a Valentine's Day promotion/discount. My order came out to $5.80. This time I picked up my order closer to 2:00pm and parking was not an issue this time around. There really isn't any seating or place to hang out/study so this is mainly a place to get a drink to go. A couple months later, I noticed that I had a Reward for a free drink for my birthday! Sweet! This time I got a large Sun Bright with boba. The most recent time I came in was last week and I made sure that I came after Broken Yolk was closed. Again, parking was not an issue this time around. I tried the Taro Crush for the first time and added boba and also got my fave Dragon Slayer and added rainbow jelly. I didn't know they used actual taro in their drinks. They cut it up and cook it in the back, they add something to make it a deeper purple color, but it is actual taro and not just powder. The tea taste can be stronger and the sugar levels are too sweet despite getting low sugar (50% or less). Employees are dishonest! !! I called the store when I found out that my friend left her phone there. We kept calling the phone, but nobody was answering. The employee I spoke to at 2:36 PM today she asked where the phone was left, and I said it was on the chair. She said they didn't see anything, so I told her that if someone turned it in, please call me, and I gave her my number. We checked Find My iPhone and it showed the location in Rancho Cucamonga, even though the only place we went to was Krab Boba. My friend called the store again after about five minutes, and they still sounded unsure if they had seen it or not. They verified it and then said they had already found it. We went back to the place and I asked them why they didn't tell the truth. What really upset me was when they said they found it next to the planter, so they didn't notice it at first. That is very impossible because my friend wasn't sitting anywhere near that spot. The employee excuse was that maybe a kid moved it there. There were so many excuses. I am a 68 year old teacher who was hoping to receive a kind, polite, non-argumentative service experience when I inquired about a new drink to a staff member since I always order Hot Chocolate since my dentist tells me to avoid ice due to teeth sensitivity.
