I walked into this shop after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. The owner greeted me warmly right away. The space is adorable, with plants for sale and cute boba apparel and accessories that make you want to look around. I casually mentioned that I was relieved they were open because my daughter and I had just spent 10 hours at Kaiser and were heading home in traffic. The owner immediately said that after such a long day, we deserved 10% off. That kindness really meant a lot. While we talked, I asked about the sweet treats and the plants for sale. He shared that they started out at the farmers market and that many of the items in the shop come from other farmers market sellers. It's such a great way to support the community and create a symbiotic relationship with other small businesses. Needless to say, we visit Kaiser often and this will be our new regular stop. Finally got the chance to try this boba shop as I've seen it all over social media. It's an easy place to find, although their sign is not that big. They are on the corner of Sierra Ave & Spring St, across from the Lewis Library. They have a wide variety of drinks & desserts to choose from. I tried their original milk tea with boba & Ube matcha milk tea. I also decided to try the chocolate peppermint s'mores cookie. I forgot to ask if they can adjust the sweetness & ice level. But also they never asked me, so I'm not sure if this was an option like some boba places. There was only one girl working & she was making one drink at a time. But that didn't bother me because I was in no rush. The BMT was actually good. It was to my liking. It wasn't too sweet & the Boba had great texture, just how I like it. It wasn't too chewy & it wasn't too overcooked or hard. The Ube Macha milk tea was actually too sweet for me. But I wonder if that could have been adjusted. But the drink was delicious. Upon first sip, I got taste of Ube right away & as you continue drinking, you get the Matcha. The cookie was good as well. Upon first glance, I was wondering if there would be more marshmallow. But as you bite into the cookie, there are bits & pieces of peppermint & the marshmallow. And if you look at the biotin of the cookie, the graham cracker is there. This cute little shop is located in downtown Fontana. I believe the parking signs on Spring street allowed for 2-hour parking and there is a small parking lot across the street. My husband and I have been following and supporting Boba Korner since they first started coming to the Fontana Farmer's Market. Aside from their drinks being a treat we look forward to weekly, their team (which we found out is family owned) has been a delight to see them flourish week after week. We even booked them to cater a boba bar for our daughter's baptism! They just opened their first storefront in downtown Fontana and my family and I could not be more thrilled! We stopped in on their soft opening yesterday and had a five star experience. Drinks were tasty, service was friendly and efficient, and the overall ambiance of the establishment was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. There were some delicious baked good for sale to enjoy with the drink. They also had some cute boba-themed swag for sale that we couldn't resist! The storefront is a nice size with some seating for customers to relax in while they wait for their drink(s) to be made or to sit and enjoy in-store. I tried two drinks from them yesterday: iced lavender matcha latte with crystal boba and an iced Nutella latte. Both were heavenly! Creamy, well-crafted, and true to taste. It was apparent each drink was made with care and quality ingredients. We are so excited that we don't have to wait until Sunday to get our boba fix anymore! I am picky about Ube and Taro flavors because I'm always disappointed with how artificial they taste. By far the best Ube I've had to drink.
