The food came out fresh and hot, and I liked that everything was cooked to order. The fried rice had good flavor and the portions were filling. The service was good. They were fast and had our food out pretty quick. It's parked right off a main road but, it was easy to pull up and grab food. There isn't any chairs or seating, so this is something you may need to enjoy in your car or at home if you're thinking of stopping by. Saw this food truck parked close to my house, so I decided to check it out. I got a shrimp plate and it is a pretty large portion, and the shrimps were big! Everything is made to order, so pretty fresh and the seasoning used reminds me a lot of Benihana or that type of restaurant. Not 5 stars because a bit overpriced for a food truck and AFTER I ordered, the guy told me he didn't have enough rice for my 5 plates. The trailer was really nice clean well kept. The guys are very patient friendly hospitable. I had called to find out the location. They were nice enough to send me a text with the address and we were off to get a plate when we arrived. We had some questions it was our first time. They were very patient and explained everything and made some great suggestions. We ended up getting one protein plate teriyaki chicken and then I got a three protein with the steak, chicken, and shrimp. Food was prepared fresh to order. The sauces were delicious especially the garlic butter over the steak. When I got home, I noticed that they had given me two proteins. So I called and let them know they're really cool about it. They fixed the order right away and got it squared away with no problem. They're very apologetic and had a great attitude about it. I can't recommend this place enough. I came on 11-16-24 at 7:30pm and I got the single protein plate with New York steak. The guy told me that it will be around 25-30 min wait (no problem) he gave me a buzzer. When I went to get my food and tried it... I was REALLY disappointed in the fact that my food was cold ( literally). My Boyz Hibachi 2 is a hibachi food truck in Fontana. Now, I'm all for supporting local businesses, but I must say, my experience here fell short. First up, the taste. We're talking about hibachi here, something that should be bursting with flavor, right? Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The food was bland, barely seasoned, and just didn't hit any of the notes you'd expect from hibachi. Price. It's steep. I mean, for what they're charging, you could easily head over to an actual Hibachi restaurant (not a food truck) like Shogun and get a much better dining experience. If the food was amazing, maybe I could overlook the price, but it's just not the case here. It's pretty clear that the chef lacks experience, at least when it comes to hibachi. So, to sum it up, unless you're in the mood for disappointment, I'd recommend skipping this one. Would not recommend. EDIT: Just saw the owner's reply and I would like to set the record straight. My experience at My Boyz Hibachi 2 was on September 23, 2023. I had the review sitting in my drafts and only just published it. The claim that I got the wrong truck or location is just not true. Mid-level food truck at best. The noodles appear to be udon and not very flavorful even if you order the garlic noodles it looks like they just add garlic. Gives it a kind off bitter taste but no real seasoning. The steak also lack flavor. The spicy chicken had some flavor, but nothing to write home about. Customer service OK. Price a little bit expensive for the quality of the meat and amount of food you get for a food truck. Most likely will not come back, but you guys could try it if you want. read more

I went here around 9:30 PM and ordered a double plate which had rice, vegetables, steak and shrimp with an add on of garlic noodles. I waited about 20 minutes to get my food which I thought was a bit long considering I was the only customer. The steak was dry and definitely overcooked, the shrimp seemed to be overcooked as well. My add on noodles didn't have much of a flavor let alone like garlic and the rice tasted like it was sitting for a few hours.
