This is my go-to for Chinese food in the immediate area. I've ordered several times through the Yelp app and it is always seamless. My go-tos are hunan beef, orange chicken, salt & pepper squid, Hong Kong style chow mein, and the fish fillet in black bean sauce. Prices have creeped up a bit but I think they are still very fair especially when comparing to other options in the vicinity. My order is always ready by the time given in the app so my service rating is strictly based on pick up orders. We always order from China One. Tonight, I ordered sesame chicken. It was terrible. It's going in the trash. Not even worth leftovers. The chicken is dry and hard. Stopped by China One recently for the first time to get some takeout. Service was friendly and efficient. Pricing was fair. They have ample seating inside this establishment for customers to dine in. During my visit, there were plenty of people coming in and out for both take out and dine in. Definitely seemed like a popular, local Chinese spot. China One is located in the Falcon Ridge shopping center in Fontana. There is plenty of free parking shared among the businesses in the center. If you don't find a spot right away, be patient as people are consistently leaving from all of the nearby shops. My order consisted of their Orange Chicken lunch special and an order of Honey Walnut Shrimp. The Orange Chicken was good, although a little soggy due to being overly saturated in sauce. Also, if you order a lunch special and take it to go, you don't get the soup that would have come with the meal if you dined in. There was no price reduction for not having the soup. However, the portion was much more generous than I anticipated, especially for it being a 'lunch-sized' portion. The Orange Chicken had some vegetables mixed in with the protein which was a nice surprise. Everything you may expect from an Orange Chicken dish. The biggest disappointment of the order was the Honey Walnut Shrimp which was a major bummer since I love Honey Walnut Shrimp. Similarly to the Orange Chicken, the shrimp was extremely soggy. The whole dish was completely saturated in the sauce. To add on to this, they lined the take out container with a ton of lettuce which, for the record, I have no problem with. However, it seemed like there was no resting time for the shrimp and coupled with the over-saturation of sauce, the shrimp tasted like steamed lettuce instead of crispy, Honey Walnut Shrimp. The final straw for the dish was that I noticed a majority of the shrimp hadn't been deveined. At that point, I couldn't force myself to commit to the rest of the dish. Super bummed out. This restaurant truly wins the award of the worse run restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. I experienced it my self . After speaking to several people that was in the restaurant at the time and others that have been there it's unfortunate that we have a local business that mismanaged their work by hiring incredibly poorly trained managers. I really enjoyed our pick-up from this restaurant. Today was one of those days we were craving Chinese and I'm so glad we found this small restaurant tucked between Target and Old Navy, right next to Bath and Body Works. I loved their wonton soup, beef with broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken (with a little kick), Shrimp Chow Fun, and Crab Rangoon. Fried Rice wasn't anything special but it's still very good paired with their entrees. Prices are reasonable and servings are generous. I think this is a decent Chinese food place for a date night. My boyfriend are new to the IE and trying new places is something we like to do on the weekends to find new local favorites. We got here around 7pm on Thursdays night and there were quite a few people dining in and a lot of people coming in for pick up orders. The food was good but I wouldn't say the best Chinese I ever had. I think the pork in the fried rice could have been cooked a bit longer. The beef and broccoli was definitely my favorite, the sesame chicken had good flavor but I think the chicken did taste a bit like frozen and not fresh. My family and I really enjoy this place. For fast casual Chinese food it's always very good. Service is prompt and fast. I don't care for vegetables and like spice , they never have a problem removing vegetables to any of my dishes, as well as they're always happy to make my meals spicy upon request. All I would say is that they should offer spice levels on their food my daughter loves the ma pu tofu and my son's favorite is the KP chicken but they both aren't as tolerant to spice as I am. I was looking around for a Chinese restaurant that I had not tried, and ran into China One. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not a fast food restaurant. They even allowed ordering through Yelp via Grubhub! Orange Chicken w/ side of Chow Mein Of course we had to try the classic Orange Chicken! The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce was more on the orange-y side. Overall, well liked. The chow mein itself lacked veggies in my opinion and was a bit too oily. Yellow Curry Chicken w/ side of White Rice This dish was a soup that had chicken, green bell peppers, red chili, carrots and onion all in a yellow curry base. It was quite spicy, but not unbearable. The veggies really gave the soup great taste. I was a bit disappointed, I was expecting creamy curry, but I realized that that is a different cuisine. I purposely ordered white rice because I knew yellow curry is such a bold flavor and was glad that I did; white rice cooked to perfection.
