I'm very never been disappointed ever when I come here! The food is always amazing the service from the staff is always great there's nothing I can or could ever say anything bad about China Point it's simply the best!!

    Delicious soup.

Everything about China Point was on point: 1) The food was delicious. The egg drop/flower soup was out of this world. The fish filet in garlic sauce( requested instead of the white sauce, the # 30 lunch special $13.95) was perfectly prepared. Fried fish with mostly fish and hardly any batter. The egg roll was also just so simple and yet so nice. I saw Linda( the Matriarch) take Shrimp Chopsuey and Orange Chicken to this table. The aroma!!!!! The presentation!!!!!!! My fried rice was outstanding. 2) The 8 booths and 4 tables were almost full when I walked in. I was seated by Linda immediately. As a party left, another lunch guest came in. Loved the energy. This restaurant is a big hit! 3) Loved Linda's nephew Terry's rapport with the regulars. The warmth and he familiarity ( photo of Terry in the booth) was tremendous. 4) Great prices. $15 plus tip for a nice and filling lunch is extraordinary. 4) I asked Terry about Vegan options and he stated he could make any dish Vegan. He showed me the tofu options as well. 5) Terry and Linda brought everything out to everyone with a lot of love and class. The way they announced the item ( " Please be careful, this is very hot") as they placed it in front of me. Magnificent! I will definitely be back. Closed on Mondays and they have a 2 hour break from 3-5 pm between lunch and dinner.

It's a little hole in the wall Chinese spot but it's absolutely amazing. They serve Korean Chinese food here which is hard to find in the IE. Every time I've come here, I eat my bowl clean. That is a sign of a quality meal. The jjajangmyeon is to die for and it's one of those dishes where if you know, you know. It's not highly advertised if at all, but it gives secret menu vibes. The options can be overwhelming but the servers are good about walking you through the menu.

We absolutely love China Point. We have been coming here for years. My daughter loves to celebrate her birthday here. The food is fresh and delicious! Our family's go to for Chinese food. We love the service as well. Everyone is friendly and inviting. We typically get everything ala carte family style, lots of food and plenty to take home. Honey walnut shrimp is one of our favorite. The sweet and sour pork, orange chicken.. you can't go wrong with anything you order.

Fantastic Experience! The orange chicken here is absolutely fantastic -- perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The egg roll was hands down the best I've ever had -- super fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I started with the egg drop soup, which was warm, comforting, and clearly made fresh when ordered. Everything tasted homemade and fresh, not like typical takeout. Highly recommend this spot if you want delicious food made right!

They don't have any "new" or dishes out of the ordinary. BUT where they lack in creativity or modernity they make up in EXECUTION/QUALITY. All the dishes were so good. They also have dim sum on the dinner menu! The crab was fried to perfection. You could easily bite in to get the meat. We had two crabs dishes... The house signature black pepper and the fried crab. The French beef dish was so tender I was surprised they could do it that well. The macau pork belly had the perfect amount of crisp and not too much fat. The Beijing duck comes with the duck like shredded so I'd be aware of that. I still found it to be really good tho and to have a ton of meat. The scallop and shrimp dumplings from the dim sum menu were solid. Nothing special but they were good. Overall, if you're in the area looking for good sir down banquet style Chinese restaurant I'd def recommend.

Overall: Poor service Good prices for dim sum (lunch only) Would have given this place 4 stars had it not been for the lack of attention to customers

Chicken dumplings had a good filling to wrapper ratio, but the filling needed way more seasoning. It just tasted like wet, mushy stuff inside, and drowning the dumpling in chili oil barely helped. And the two fried dishes weren't flavorful either--they weren't dredged very well, so they just tasted like oil. This was especially disappointing for the scallion pancake, since it looked nice...but didn't taste of scallions at all. Overall, really disappointing. I might give it a try at a different location if the opportunity comes up, but with the menu being rather small, I'm not even sure it'd be worth the time.

There's lots of traffic so be weary of the cars that pass by and when we went there were tons of people. We walked in and they took our name and phone number and about a 40 min wait. This place can probably fit 40 people, it's so small. We tried a few items such as their beef roll, wonton with chili sauce, their seven grams xlb, , fried mini buns, noodle with scallion oil sauce, and potato string shrimp. Their seven grams xlb was disappointing, the broth and meat inside didn't have any flavor to it IMO. The mini buns were sweet and heavy, and we split one and didn't touch the rest. The noodle with scallion sauce was just okay...again, not much flavor. I didn't like the potato shrimp at all, too doughy and hard. The beef rolls were just okay to me, again kinda bland without dumping it in shoyu and vinegar). The best dish was their spicy wontons. It had a nice kick to it and we saved the sauce to dump everything else we ate in it lol.

I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro. I almost felt robbed here.....either every dish was lacking peppercorns and numbness, or it was missing Umami, Alot of it...so I leave anyone who wants to challenge my opinion otherwise and prove me wrong that the food here indeed belongs in a long list of top notch Szechuan Hunan Restaurants in Los Angeles. Even if this place opened up in Phoenix, I'm sorry, it's going to rank in the lower end of the bell curve. It was a hot day. I felt the service lady doesn't know how to tell "Customers Need Ice Water" and I had to vocally tell her ice and water please. I don't know, been a long week, haven't gone home for 10 days and just been bouncing on and off my rig all across the US....I just wanted some food I could really enjoy today, and Chili Bistro failed to deliver.
