We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. This time around we ordered the flower soup with shrimp and egg rolls with wontons the soup bowl was humongous and delicious. The customer service is great the interior has plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Everything about China Point was on point: 1) The food was delicious. The egg drop/flower soup was out of this world. The fish filet in garlic sauce( requested instead of the white sauce, the # 30 lunch special $13.95) was perfectly prepared. Fried fish with mostly fish and hardly any batter. The egg roll was also just so simple and yet so nice. I saw Linda( the Matriarch) take Shrimp Chopsuey and Orange Chicken to this table. The aroma!!!!! The presentation!!!!!!! My fried rice was outstanding. 2) The 8 booths and 4 tables were almost full when I walked in. I was seated by Linda immediately. As a party left, another lunch guest came in. Loved the energy. This restaurant is a big hit! 3) Loved Linda's nephew Terry's rapport with the regulars. The warmth and he familiarity ( photo of Terry in the booth) was tremendous. 4) Great prices. $15 plus tip for a nice and filling lunch is extraordinary. 4) I asked Terry about Vegan options and he stated he could make any dish Vegan. He showed me the tofu options as well. 5) Terry and Linda brought everything out to everyone with a lot of love and class. The way they announced the item ( " Please be careful, this is very hot") as they placed it in front of me. Magnificent! I will definitely be back. Closed on Mondays and they have a 2 hour break from 3-5 pm between lunch and dinner.

It's a little hole in the wall Chinese spot but it's absolutely amazing. They serve Korean Chinese food here which is hard to find in the IE. Every time I've come here, I eat my bowl clean. That is a sign of a quality meal. The jjajangmyeon is to die for and it's one of those dishes where if you know, you know. It's not highly advertised if at all, but it gives secret menu vibes. The options can be overwhelming but the servers are good about walking you through the menu.

We absolutely love China Point. We have been coming here for years. My daughter loves to celebrate her birthday here. The food is fresh and delicious! Our family's go to for Chinese food. We love the service as well. Everyone is friendly and inviting. We typically get everything ala carte family style, lots of food and plenty to take home. Honey walnut shrimp is one of our favorite. The sweet and sour pork, orange chicken.. you can't go wrong with anything you order.

This is a "wonton" are you serious????

One of those places you see on yelp with great reviews so you decide to try instead of your goto! Well COMPLETE disappointment. Zero flavor between the 3 dishes we ordered. And when i say zero i mean ZERO flavor. Definitely won't be back. Makes me hate yelp format for me wasting $85

Fantastic Experience! The orange chicken here is absolutely fantastic -- perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The egg roll was hands down the best I've ever had -- super fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I started with the egg drop soup, which was warm, comforting, and clearly made fresh when ordered. Everything tasted homemade and fresh, not like typical takeout. Highly recommend this spot if you want delicious food made right!

Intoxicating, mouth watering aromas from the kitchen, I am impatient and cannot wait for the dishes to arrive at my table. This is my fifth time coming here alone and with friends. I've never had an issue with the wait or the service. Everything is tip notch and I just absolutely love this restaurant. Today I ordered, the green beans and it's simply the best I've ever had. Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Every chicken pieces were crunchy and no bad pieces in this batch. This is not your panda Express orange chicken or Panda Inn, this is your Mr Chows Beverly hills orange chicken. The quality is un-matched. I don't know what these noodles are but they are crunch and delicious. I am so satisfied, and I also love the prices too, very good for this quality. He kept forgetting some of our dishes. He took a long time to get his refills. That's one thing that does bother me we're paying and tipping for Service and it should be done with the upmost care and consideration we ordered the packing duck the Mushu, which was suggested by the waiter, which was very delicious and the beef with the mushrooms Beef with the mushrooms was seasoned and flavored so deliciously texturally with the variety of different mushrooms that were in this dish was such a delight to eat The Peking duck is always one of my favorite the skin is extra crispy than meat is very moist. It comes with a nice light sweet-and-sour and then a darker duck sauce to pair with fluffy soft boas And the appetizer the mushu was a very delicious that came with like a Wong tortillas to pair with it and it was a very good recommend 10/10 But like I said, give it a try and you decide

Chicken dumplings had a good filling to wrapper ratio, but the filling needed way more seasoning. It just tasted like wet, mushy stuff inside, and drowning the dumpling in chili oil barely helped. And the two fried dishes weren't flavorful either--they weren't dredged very well, so they just tasted like oil. This was especially disappointing for the scallion pancake, since it looked nice...but didn't taste of scallions at all. Overall, really disappointing. I might give it a try at a different location if the opportunity comes up, but with the menu being rather small, I'm not even sure it'd be worth the time.

There's lots of traffic so be weary of the cars that pass by and when we went there were tons of people. We walked in and they took our name and phone number and about a 40 min wait. This place can probably fit 40 people, it's so small. We tried a few items such as their beef roll, wonton with chili sauce, their seven grams xlb, , fried mini buns, noodle with scallion oil sauce, and potato string shrimp. Their seven grams xlb was disappointing, the broth and meat inside didn't have any flavor to it IMO. The mini buns were sweet and heavy, and we split one and didn't touch the rest. The noodle with scallion sauce was just okay...again, not much flavor. I didn't like the potato shrimp at all, too doughy and hard. The beef rolls were just okay to me, again kinda bland without dumping it in shoyu and vinegar). The best dish was their spicy wontons. It had a nice kick to it and we saved the sauce to dump everything else we ate in it lol.

I was surprised because there was only one couple in the restaurant besides us and they had already received their food. They could have been busy with online orders, but I still felt like it was slow service for being nearly empty inside. They have a self serve sauce bar. It just has soy, soy mixed sauce, chili oil, and black vinegar. I ordered the Wide Hand Pulled Noodles, Green and Onion Pot Stickers, and the Beef Rolls. Wide Hand Pulled noodles were ok. Honestly not much to brag about. I thought the noodles were cooked well but the flavor didn't really stand out to me. I believe it's served with chili oil, a mound of minced garlic and some vegetables. Outside of those ingredients I thought it needed more flavor or substance. The beef rolls were ok to me as well. I liked how crispy the roll was and size. Good portions of sliced beef served with cilantro. It was refreshing but the meat was generally cold with some warmness provided by the roll. But that quickly faded. Would prefer it to be warmer. The highlight was the pot stickers. Beef and onion were good. Really enjoyed the presentation of the dish. The edges of the pot sticker were really thick. Almost chip like. I enjoyed it as much as the dish itself. Would get it again. Overall I thought the food was ok. I'm sure there are better highlight dishes than what I ordered but they weren't selected this go around. Also the prices are a little higher than most dumpling spots so I just expected more.

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. I'd come back, just with lower expectations on speed and pacing. 4 stars mainly for value.

We got the premium option for hot pot dinner, all the meats came out at once already portioned for our group of 4. As nice as it is to not have to wait, it doesnt take into account that we would've wanted to pick and choose what to order and maybe abstained from some options to get refills of the options we did like. When the meats all come out at once, it's hard to know which is which. The only obvious distinguished proteins were the seafood, which is presented really nicely. The veggies/noodles/sauce bar weeds well stocked and had the typical toppings you want for your soup. For dinner, the restaurant seemed lean staffed, which was fine since it wasn't busy and we got seated in an obvious spot.

I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro. I almost felt robbed here.....either every dish was lacking peppercorns and numbness, or it was missing Umami, Alot of it...so I leave anyone who wants to challenge my opinion otherwise and prove me wrong that the food here indeed belongs in a long list of top notch Szechuan Hunan Restaurants in Los Angeles. Even if this place opened up in Phoenix, I'm sorry, it's going to rank in the lower end of the bell curve. It was a hot day. I felt the service lady doesn't know how to tell "Customers Need Ice Water" and I had to vocally tell her ice and water please.
