Food is delicious! Service is fast and accurate and ambiance is very chill will definitely go back!

This my 3rd time ordering from Koya Sushi. Sadly it was not up to par today. I ordered it via Grubhub and it came on time so I don't want to blame the driver. I ordered two teriyaki bowls, a Fontana roll, and an Alaskan roll. What I think happened was the sushi got to warm because they bagged it with the hot teriyaki bowls. The sushi was warm, there was no chill to it and sadly that compromises the taste. But it wasn't just the taste, it was the overall presentation. If you look at past photos and the current photo I posted you can see the difference. It was a lot smaller. The avocado was brown, and it tasted warm and slimy. The teriyaki bowls were just fine! It's a great value and the portion is huge. The chicken is nicely grilled and the sauce they use isn't too sweet. I do add kimchi to mine because it needs some freshness, crunchy, and acidity because there's not veggies. read more

Koya is a small restaurant with excellent service. The area can get busy since it shares a parking lot with several other businesses, but don't let that discourage you from visiting. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is fast, friendly, and polite. Out of the rolls I tried, the Lemon Love Roll was easily my favorite. It was perfectly prepared, and the combination of salmon and lemon worked incredibly well together. The flavors were fresh, balanced, and memorable. I highly recommend giving this roll a try! I also had the Lobster Roll and the Jalapeño Roll. While both were good, they didn't quite measure up to the Lemon Love Roll. That said, I really enjoyed the Jalapeño Roll and would definitely order it again. Overall, Koya offers great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. read more

We're back babyyyy! Was an absolute wreck when Koya shut down especially since sushi was supposed to be my after birth meal after having my son. Was sooo happy when I saw the signs off Sierra, nearly got in a wreck because I gasped so loud & scared the sh*t out of my husband. Finally placed a pick up order the other day & as usual, they did not disappoint. We ordered tempura udon, Philly hand roll, yellowtail cut roll, D4. which is a Superman roll, golden tiger roll & miso soup, and a teriyaki chicken bento. All of this for about $60. The food still as delicious as before and definitely hit the spot! Didn't get a chance to take a pic of the food because I was too excited but will be back again very soon! read more

I used to come here when I wanted a quick fix because it was close to my home and the cheapest. I was never crazy about the place but it got my cravings out the way... I saw it was open again on yelp and today when I called it was $30 for AYCE for lunch. I came gave it ankther shot since its been closed I thought maybe it got better just try again... NO the first thing (shrimp boats) come out within 2 min of ordering and was cold as if it was sitting there for someone else and didn't want to waste food. Then I asked for extra wasabi and only wasabi the guy gave my the smallest amount (I eat a lot of it and ask ahead to avoid bugging for more). My food kept getting mixed up either didn't come out or came out 2x and rounds Were mixed up. My calamari came out and my baked salmon roll both quickly as well and also cold. To top it the nigiri was mostly rice. I tried, but wont be coming back. read more

I have been coming to Koya for about 10 years now and I am always extending satisfied. The food is amazing and the ambiance is so relaxing. The waitresses are always a hit and a miss, as they get really busy and sometimes it shows that they're frustrated. However, it's never a horrible or even bad experience. I ordered food tonight. 5 rolls, miso soup, and salmon sashimi. My food was frozen!!!! $102 worth of food that I couldn't eat. All the salmon was frozen on all the rolls and sashimi. The soup was cold. I called and the guy on the phone gaslight me and told me it wasn't frozen and then said he'd check and then said oh ya it was frozen and said sorry but I can't re fund you your money. Awful customer service, hung up on me 3 times because I asked for a refund. Do NOT eat here. Save your money an go else where. read more

Awesome sushi spot. Found this place on accident the night before Thanksgiving and have been a couple times since. Still haven't been disappointed! The staff are great people and the fish is fresh and flavorful. Great portions and excellent pricing. My ONLY complaint, no squid. I love me some squid and they don't have it.
