The sushi is bomb especially for the price and I love getting their taro or green tea boba smoothies 10/10 recommend. I don't think this place gets enough traffic. If you're ever thinking of getting store bought sushi at like staters or vons, come here instead because the quality is so much better and it's a good price. Plus the workers are extremely friendly!! Yet again another location I walk by all the time. Located at the entrance of Superior Groceries, my wife kept insisting that we try this place for a teriyaki bowl. So, after much time I finally decided to stop by. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. The place was empty so I was able to order quickly. It did take almost 15 minutes to get my order of 2 beef teriyaki bowls but honestly, I'm not gonna complain because I saw it was made fresh. Took my good home and quickly ate it as I was hungry. The food had some good flavor, it wasn't too sweet. Could I have gone for some more sweetness or salt, absolutely. Nickle and diming me but that is fine, it's their business so I handed her my debit card and she just shook her head stating I couldn't pay just 50 cents using my card. This location is kinda hidden. It is inside the grocery store. Sushi was unappealing. They gave a tiny sliver of wasabi crust that literally looked like it was the dried out remnant at the end of the jar. Even my dog would not eat the sushi rolls after genuinely trying twice. In addition to rolls they have traditional Japanese dishes; Yaki Soba Teriyaki Combo plates And Korean spicy bbq pork! Wow! Not a huge selection of rolls but everything is great and fresh. California, dragon, Hawaiian, philly, tuna, tiger, rainbow, crunch, shrimp tempura. Even though it's fast casual they bring your tray, drink and offer free miso soup. I go to Macho Grille for a quick bite! Limited menu but Very reasonable prices and well served! It takes some time to prepare so try to call ahead! One time I called ahead and hey didn't make the order until I got there and paid for it! But now I call ahead and they have it ready for me! They must know me now! Lol! Spicy mayo is extra cost and they have boba slush too! Try the crunch roll and the Cali roll! The yakisoba is just ok in the taste! You can eat there but I prefer to dig in at home where I can use my fingers and a fork! I don't know how to use chopsticks hahah! I would recommend this place!
