I used to come here years ago so while in town in Fontana, it occurred to me to visit again to see if my favorite Camarones Cucaracha were still as tasty as before. When we arrived on a Monday afternoon, it was fairly empty but quickly filled up. As far as the camarones cucaracha- I was not disappointed! It had just the right amount of spice and so flavorful! My sons had the Molcajete Kora and a tostada de camaron. My daughter and aunt both had the 7 mares soup. All of our dishes were tasty except for the tostada. That was the only thing that really lacked flavor. I don't know if they just forgot to put the salt, but it just tasted like we were eating flavorless shrimp. Overall I'd definitely go again for the Camarones à la cucaracha alone! read more

Stopped by the other night with my friend & her children. I've been here many times for their fish & shrimp ceviche and their Agua chile and their lemon butter shrimp/ prawns . Went to have some Ceviche de Camaron we ordered the large plate for $30. When they brought it to the table all the shrimp were completely grey. And then we were charged an additional $6 to cook it. When they brought it back to the table it didn't have any flavor. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I was really looking forward to trying this place. The food looked amazing on here. I ordered a shrimp tostada and a shrimp cocktail. They brought me a fish tostada instead of shrimp. Kitchen mistake. The server was so sweet so I didn't want to send it back. It looked very filling and tasty so I didn't really mind. Decided to eat it but I ended up not liking the flavors. Next was the shrimp cocktail. Visually it was appealing but lacked flavor. It didnt really taste like shrimp cocktail. Tasted like watery tomatoe sauce. Definitely needed more lime in it and maybe clamato. It did however have a lot of shrimp. My mother ordered the seafood soup. 7 mares. That was very delicious. Not sure if maybe it was just an off day or something. I would definitely try it at least 1 more time but my first experience was just a lil disappointing. I finally got the check and seen that they charged me for a shrimp tostada which is more expensive than the fish so I did have them correct that. This place is really great for the botanas and pescado sarandeado. I recommend the langostinos and different ceviches. The shrimp empanadas are also great with the spicy Serrano salsa. We usually take it to go to enjoy at home. Our drive is about 30 minutes. read more

I brought my boyfriend here for a date night (he doesn't like seafood to much) but after having the langostinos and shrimp tacos, he absolutely fell in love!! I've been to both this location and the other fontana location and both never fails to leave me completely satisfied every time. There is a language barrier, so beware. Sometimes you kind of just have to point and tell them what you want, but don't let that scare you from trying this place. It's still one of my favorite mariscos places I've ever been to. One of the bast Agua Chiles (with callo) I've had. This raw shrimp and scallops (callo) that are pickled in fresh lemon juice and fresh serrano chiles. With the scallops, it's $23 and with shrimp only $18. But the scallops are fresh here and I love them, I always get them. The chips and salsa are very good, the service is great in English and Spanish, and the place is clean. Don't expect any nice decor, that's basic here but clean. They sell beer buy the single or by the six pack that comes in a metal bucket of ice. I can't wait to get back here to try more of their Mexican Seafood menu!! read more
