Wanted to like this place so much but tragically we will never be back and keep going to Cocina Sinaloense few doors down. We order the tacos plain...carne asada, Chicken and Al pastor and Caldo de Pollo Caldo was delicious. For sure. Cooked perfect great flavor. That's why this post isn't getting one star. The tacos....well don't come here for those. The chicken was grilled plain and cut. The carne asada looked almost like ground beef and BURNT. the Al Pastor was DDDRRRRYYYY and no flavor. So we asked if they had spicy salsa bc the one they bring for chips tasted like tomato sauce. When they did a BIG LONG BLACK HAIR WAS IN IT!!! When we showed him he was like "oh" no sorry. Nothing. Then I SWEAR he bring back the SAME ONE bc I can see the line with sauce where the hair was. I look at the kitchen and I see a woman with her hair in a pony tail but her hair is long and not with a net anything as it goes back and forth. I placed a phone order and the woman that assisted me was very helpful, upon entering the restaurant it was very clean, vibrant and had amazing personality and energy. I ordered the albondigas de camaron along with the Fajitas suprema and everything was fresh, bursting with flavor, and delicious. I think it's important to note that my food remained extremely hot during my 15 minute commute, so it's safe to say my food was fresh off the grill. I asked the waiter what he recommended while he dropped off the complementary chips and salsa. He mentioned that he likes the chile verde , say less I'll take and order. First time visitors, we ordered chilaquiles and mole enchiladas. The food taste fresh, and it was well flavored. The rice was good and beans were delicious. The chilaquiles were well prepared, it was not your topical chips with sauce poured over, the chips appeared sautéed in the sauce. The mole was delicious as well. Love the Chipotle Carnitas definitely recommend. It adds an extra level of flavor to the carnitas that most lack.

This is located on Sierra Ave. There is limited parking in the front on the street and a parking lot in the back of the building. I had the chile relleno and also the Enchiladas Suizas with chicken. The chile relleno was so flavorful, from the sauce to the actual chile itself. Normally chile rellenos are mild in heat level but this one had me drinking water after every bite. It was spicy, but so delicious! The enchiladas suizas came with rice and beans and the enchiladas were STUFFED with marinated shredded chicken breast. The green sauce was very mild, no heat there. I think I would prefer just cheese enchiladas next time, only because I thought there was too much chicken for my preference and the cheese was only added on top. I would have liked cheese inside with the chicken also. The refried beans tasted like they were from a can, so I didn't eat those and the rice was cooked well but didn't have a lot of flavor. The order came with complimentary chips and salsa. The gentleman kindly gave us a small container of each of the 4 types they have. I personally really enjoyed the green salsa. I would definitely return to try some of the other items on the menu. read more

My wife and I really wanted to like it. Service was really good and sat down right away. The salsa and the pico the gallo weren't good at all. Pico seemed to be old as you could see the tomatoes and the onions looked dried out, cilantro withering. Salsa was a smoky red salsa which just shouldn't really be the top choice IMO. First and foremost I will be returning for the Menudo, I MUST try it! This morning they were not too crowded, we sat down immediately. Husband and I had their Huevos Rancheros. The sauce was very tasty. However the beans and rice although they tasted great, these sides weren't very warm/hot as in temperature. Along with this plate we had fresh homemade tortillas that great! My husband had coffee and the waitress told us it was good coffee AND she was totally right! Their coffee was very richly brewed, my husband loved it. It was a Saturday night and every taco spot was busy in Fontana, from Viva Villa to the pop-up taco spots, and en route to King Taco, my family saw this restaurant was open and serving customers. We came to Yelp to look at the reviews and whether it was open, but it showed that it was closed, yet we still turned around to see if it was open because of the favorable reviews. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated outside in a covered tent that had heaters. The waitress came and provided chips and salsa as well as our drinks. I ordered a horchata and my wife order piña, which were both delicious. The salsa is a bit spicy, so be careful not to bite the peppers, or it can be backfire if you are not comfortable with eating hot salsa. We ordered two tacos and rice and beans for my son then a quesadilla with cheese and rice and beans for my daughter. My wife ordered a muleta and pozole and I ordered a shredded beef wet burrito. The food arrived rather quickly and was fresh. My children devoured their food and for those of us parents, it is exceptionally hard to find a place where our children eat all their food and like the rice and beans. Well, the rice and beans are authentic and tasteful. As far as my wet burrito, it was HUGE and I was only able to eat 1/2, but it was really good. My wife loved her muleta and pozole,. The service was excellent and the staff was extremely welcoming as well as accommodating. As far as price, we used the coupon provided on first check-in and would consider this place extremely affordable for families especially for a dine-in experience.
