I was craving Birria for breakfast and found this gem. Birrieria Gonzalez is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking available. Upon arrival we were greeted by Yuderia. Yuderia was very welcoming checked on us multiple times. They have a big selection of aguas frescas. I ordered quesa taco dorado, vampiro, taco dorado and consome. They were all delicious tasted fresh. The consome was seasoned to perfection. I didnt add anything to it was soooo delicious. Great ambiance. You can enjoy the music playing in the background and still hold a conversation with people at the table. Plenty of indoor seating and very clean. They have a good selection of postres. Everything Birrieria! I stepped on in on a whim and in need of some food one Sunday afternoon, and I'm glad I did. To my surprise it was not very busy, but as soon as I finished ordering food, the line behind me grew and was out the door! The tacos here are a winner! Fresh, crunchy, and made with tasteful birrieria. The burrito was equally satisfying. The menudo was good but honestly it could be a little better - worth a try if you absolutely want to give it a shot. Had to check out this ALL BEEF birria spot, especially with all the great reviews. I've been twice now and while my hubby has decided he's not into it, I actually love it. Very flavorful, especially with the consome on the side for dipping each and every dish We've tried the quesasbirria, vampiros, tacos, and mulitas. The vampiros and mulitas are my personal favorites. I usually get mine to go, but they have 2 full and separate dining rooms with the kitchen in the middle and you can see them making the food. Yet another wonderful find via the incredible people of Yelp. Birrieria Gonzales had 4.5 star average from our fellow yelpers and that was more than enough for me to give this spot a try. Oh and I like me some birria so it wasn't like I had to be heavily persuaded either. Even better this location was only a mere minutes from my home, off I went. Once I left my house I was able to phone order so my meal would be ready when I arrived, there was pic of the menu posted on yelp. When I arrived I was greeted with a "Buenos dias (Good morning) bien venido (welcome) by a very friendly staff. I promptly paid for my food amd actually added a couple of hot champurrados for my in laws, perfect on a 47 degree Sunday morning here in Fontana. I couldn't wait to get home and chow down. My quesataco wasn't as hot as I would have liked because I was also picking up food elsewhere for my inlaws but was otherwise tasty. The large consome de birria however, that thing was pure deliciousness. It delivered exactly in the way that one craves something and it hit every spot needed. Make sure you get the consume to dip your tacos in. It's so flavorful. Slightly on the salty side but so good. Their salsa is also very good. Complements the tacos very well. They give you all the fixing and don't skimp on the onions, cilantro, radish, limes, or salsa. The food portions are reasonable. The burritos are very full of meat. $12 for a birria burrito might seem like a lot, but the amount of meat they put in it makes it worth it to me. Their red sauce is so flavorful and spicy. TIP: order a small consomé (only the consomé) and pour it over the burrito to make it a wet burrito and it's a game changer. The queda birrias are rally good as well. Overall the food is very flavorful. The place is fairly small with limited seating. I'd say about 8 good sized booths (seats about 6 per booth). You order and pay first, get a number and sit yourself. It's not really a sit-down service type of place, but someone does bring your food out.
