Came back to this place three months later because I was seriously craving their Menudo, and once again, it did not disappoint! The food came out piping hot and fresh, just like last time. There was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it. The flavors were just as rich and comforting as I remembered. The food was good, I ordered tacos asada, chicken and chorizo all had good flavor...But the service was trash. The lady with the glasses looking like a 70's cafeteria lunch lady, she needs an attitude adjustment. I walked inside and being that it was my first time stepping inside the establishment I didn't know where to order, so I turn my attention to the menu above the window frame where they cook the food she turns around and says "what would you like" in spanish with a resting bitch face expression, our whole conversation was in Spanish. I asked her if they sell menudo everyday or just Saturday/Sunday, she looked irritated and just shook her head left to right...still not being clear as to why she shook her head I asked do you serve menudo everyday and she shook her head once again up and down indicating yes, mind you there was only two people in the restaurant. One was eating outside and a school kid sitting down waiting for his food, it wasn't busy at all so it's not like I was taking up her time or anything like that for her to have that attitude. I then asked if the menudo came with the hominy (I like it with hominy, I know it's not the traditional way to eat it) she said no we don't put hominy in our menudo, I told her ok let me have some tacos instead and she just looks at me without saying anything as if to say "ok what kind?" So I start telling her how many tacos I want of each meat and she cuts me off mid sentence and tells me, "you order over there, they will take your order" and points to the right and then I see the register and a painted sign above that says "order here" like I said my first time being there, yes I know I should have been more observant that was my fault but why engage with me asking me what I wanted just to cut me off mid order and tell me to order somewhere else. Ok whatever, so she turns around and starts doing her thing, meanwhile I don't see anyone at the register so I'm just standing there waiting for someone to take my order, a few minutes go by and this other lady comes in from the kitchen, they start talking and joking around for about 1 minute and then I hear them get quite and about 20 seconds later guess who who pops up again to take my order? Cafeteria lunch lady, without saying a word just stating at me with a grin on her face, so I say ok can I have two asada and she automatically stops me and asks me "two asada what?" Lol I'm thinking to myself, what do you mean what? I just finished telling you literally 2 minutes ago I wanted tacos before you interrupted me and sent me to have my order taken by someone else and now you want to act like you don't know what I'm talking about? This is when I knew she was on some BS. I honestly wanted to walk away at that moment in time because I'm a paying fucking customer, I'm not asking for free food so don't treat me like I'm bothering you or like you're doing me a favor...but instead I took a deep breath and told her "Tacos" I finished ordering and then took my seat. I enjoyed the tacos, they were good but the salsa's lack in flavor. All in all I'd come back but not if my food will continue to be served with an attitude, I don't want to feel like I'm bothering them when I'm just trying to eat and at the same time support local establishments. read more

My family & I were looking for a new taco spot & came across Tacos More. I like the variety of food options they have. We ordered tacos which tasted great & non greasy, flavorful 10/10. My husband ordered a torta de Milanesa which he rated 7/10. I got a tostada gigante de carne desebrada which was delicious. I recommend you add salt for more flavor. The place inside is small but they have plenty of seating outside. I like the art on the walls. The staff is kind & treated us well. If you're craving tacos, I would 100% recommend. The food was good, the low stars is for the staff ( the lady taking the orders with the glasses) walked in, she had just helped someone, saw me come in didn't offer a greeting. I walked up to the register and she just walked away I could hear her talking in the back, then comes back to register continues to fiddle with cash and register and still ignoring me, finally she asks if I'm ready to order, very rude. Man for the price now and the portions they give especially on the burrito i am very disappointed.. burrito is half empty with more beans then anything They mess my order up once again and even after i asked if they can grill the left over onions and chilies on the grill they just packed it up in front of me. This review is off a Door Dash experience. I was craving a burrito and upon ordering, the place I was going to order from was closed and this place came up as a suggestion. Why not? I ordered the Al Pastor Burrito Wet and my husband the Carne Asada Burrito Wet. Upon receiving our food, the red sauce was very thin, came with a little bit of cheese and sour cream. Although the flavor of the Al Pastor was pretty well seasoned, the flavor of the red sauce they put on top of it was off putting. It had a weird taste. Maybe a different variation I'm just not used to. It was also watery which was meh. The meat in my husbands Al Pastor burrito was also very flavorful. It had a delicious smoky flavor. It was kind of disappointing that they charge for the side salsas which are normally included in all places to have gone to. I would go back to give them another try. read more

I am in town for work from NYC and wanted some authentic Mexican tacos. These tacos were the top 3 best tacos I've had in my life-traveling to multiple Spanish countries. Not to mention how reasonable priced they were. I will for sure be stopping at this place every time I am in town. read more

Small place with not so many seats inside... But oh man, let me tell you about the food! Went in for their taco Tuesday special and ordered some asada and al pastor tacos. They were amazing. The meat was seasoned just right and it wasn't full of gristle like other spots I've had. My plate came with grilled onions, a grilled jalapeno, radishes and sliced cucumbers. The food was so good I didnt get a chance to take a picture. This place is one of the best I've had. So dont let the looks fool you. Go and give it a try you will not regret it! read more

Lawdddd! Bomb azz tacos We ordered El Pastor, Lengua, Pollo, Asada, Birria. I would definitely recommend these to start. Everything is made fresh and by order instead of a large amount of meat cooked at once. El Pastor - Good. Consistent with general El Pastor Tacos. Lengua - Ok. The flavor was definitely there. Tender meat. (Disclosure: I'm not a huge Lengua fan lol) Pollo - pretty good. It has a nice crunch to the meat. Good flavor. I was looking for more of a grilled flavor/texture but it was still good! Asada - great! Good texture, flavor, and goes well with the Hot sauce they have. Birria - Favorite! Great flavor. Even without consumè. Definitely will order these again. read more

Food is great the carne asada fries are what I got for when it come to Tacos More.The only thing is the lady was acting like she didn't know what checking in was through yelp to get a free soda. Very nice ambiance. Update*** lady said I can only check in once a month for the free soda this is false advertising and should not be on the wall she was nice about but Every-time you check in the reviews for your business goes up do not understand why she would do something like that. Does not make sense please train the employees on your free soda policy or update the wall. read more

The old Primo's Taco building has new owners that cleaned up and painted the place. And to my pleasant surprise, making great tacos too. The meats are all good like any other good taco place. But what I think sets these apart is that the corn tortillas are seasoned with a red consommé then griddled, giving them an extra depth of flavor that we all look for in a great taco. The size of their tacos aren't the size of normal street tacos that within a bite they are gone. They are a bit bigger than that. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos and two quesadillas today from this place and although the food was just ok. all three different kinds of their salsas taste like watered down lemon grass! While we were still eating, someone from the kitchen came out and asked if he could take our plate. We politely said no thank you because we were still working on it. A few minutes later he came back and insisted on taking the plate, saying something along the lines of, "A clean table makes a consumer buy more," but the way it was said came across as rude and made us feel rushed. If the plate had been mostly empty, with just a couple of pieces left, I would have completely understood. But that wasn't the case -- I had only eaten about 2-3 shrimp out of a dozen. I shared how I felt, explaining that I understood clearing finished plates, but we were clearly not done. His response was dismissive and he walked away. The food had potential, and the aguachiles had good flavor, but the service experience left me disappointed. Sometimes giving guests a little time to enjoy their meal, conversation, and drinks makes a bigger difference than having a perfectly cleared table.

It was pretty filling and quite nice. I was craving ceviche but they didn't really have it but did have tostada with shrimp cocktail. It was decent but too sweet for me. That wasn't too filling so ordered some of the street tacos. They're quite small so a few were ordered. The Al pastor tends to be my go too but these were a little on the overcooked and dry side. The birria was quite nice and juicy. And lastly the carnitas, it was good and cooked well but overall the birria was the winner. Food was good so that was nice. Just didn't like the ordering first and seating yourself. They also had a salsa bar with 4 choices to choose from as well as hot beans where you can serve yourself. That's a first with the beans for me as I've never been to a place where you can serve yourself beans. Plus chips are an additional fee. Overall, the place was nice. Tacos and enchiladas were great.

The cooker ended up just separating same tacos and putting them in a plate I told him no that's not how you serve tacos when you have 3 different meats especially if they're in some sauce. Then another kind gentleman came and said he will go ahead and make three new tacos individually wrapped. I've also noticed the prices have increased significantly. For example, the pozole was around $12 last year, increased to about $16 midway through the year, and is now $18.09. I completely understand that the cost of ingredients and operating a business has gone up, but that increase feels pretty substantial in a relatively short amount of time. Lastly, the hours are a bit inconvenient. Closing at 6:00 p.m. makes it difficult for many people to stop by after work, especially since that's when a lot of customers are just getting off. The food itself is genuinely excellent, and that's why I continue coming back. I just think the long drive-thru wait times, rising prices, and limited business hours have had a noticeable impact on my overall experience as a customer.
