I came to this restaurant with a friend and ordered queso Birria tacos, and a melon Agua Fresca. The food was good, but the service was 100% not. I came with a friend and I felt like the entire time we were there we were being rushed to order.. within the first five minutes of being there we had several waitresses come up to us. I felt like they were being very pushy when it came to us ordering, and when we would ask questions, they gave us an attitude and even walked away from us when we were in the middle of talking. Before we finished eating they tried to take my friends plate with a good amount of food on it while we were still talking, and threw away our drink without asking if we were done. The beans were sooo delicious the closest to homemade I have ever had from a restaurant. Enchiladas were delicious had the right amount of salsa, cheese and full of flavor. The flautas ( which was a great suggestion) had potato inside. With lettuce and avacado. They were very good as well they are served with a consume which is delicious. You can drink that by itself, like if it is a cafecito. You dip the flautas in the consume and then with that salsa and bam you have a nice combo of flavors. Last but not least the shrimp ceviche was perfect. Did not need anything else besides the salsa negra and guacamaya. Overall great experience, food and service. I wish the meat was chopped up a bit more so I didn't grab an enormous bit of meat in one go, but there was no fat or gristle and the classic birria flavors were there. Honestly , the food was great at first , but after visiting a couple of times customers service got super bad . They over charge you for the same thing . Ask for receipts or they will say that you didn't pay . The lady's there are rude and don't have anything of customer service . They scream at you from over the counter saying hey you didn't pay after you payed . They throw your food before even asking if you're done . Never ever going again . I came by earlier this week with my kids ordered a flauta meal,two kids plates,one drink, a side of rice,and a side of cold pasta. Food was really good the flautas needed a bit of salt but overall everything was tasty. I got up to pay and the receipt I was given had no prices just the total which was a bit expensive for what we got I tipped 15% was asked at the end if i wanted the hand written receipt back I said no because I paid and signed on their tablet. I was checking my accounts and I saw an almost $13 difference on my credit card charge. I disputed the charge with my bank but I called the establishment to see what kind of tax and charges they have when paying with a card I was placed on a 10 minute hold then the person hung up, called back and told them they had hung up on me she said I'm sorry I was busy she seemed upset form the start that I was asking like she knew I caught on to their scheme. I'm saddened by this because I truly love to support my city but not when they knowingly are taking advantage of their own neighbors so just beware and ask for an itemized recipient or pay cash so you don't get extra charges out on your account I did the math the establishment had changed the charges to a 30% tip read more

In depth about this place since we hav evens wanting to go for a while. Got in around 4:55 didn't seem busy, waited at cashier for a table of 2, and was asked to sit down. (Seems like a sit yourself type of place & then they help you). Waited a while as they attended people paying to leave. Waitress took our order about 10 ish minutes later. Ordered 2 orders of ceviche, flautas, and quesabirria. Food didn't came out all together which was weird. The ceviche took longer than everything else, that just didn't make sense to us as seafood is already made. Everything overall had great flavor, quesabirria does have some spice to it, the ceviche is definitely spicy, it's soaked in the juices so you don't see the jalapeños or anything. I will say the onions were cut very big considering everything else was cut tiny. But super flavorful!! We had it with tostados on side. Overall solid experience for food, for time waiting, ordering food, receiving food & paying, I would recommend to order out. Eating in felt as if we waited a while, but this place is still very new and they're working out the kinks. If I could recommend anything to the restaurant owner. I'd say let us order at the counter and that eliminates the waitress running to cook the food & serve the food which will help time lost if us waiting to even get a drink. Food 3.9/5 (onions were cut too big for me, quesabirria was to crunchy & was not offered for it be softer like most Birria places, fluatas had a lot of potato and were good, ceviche was super flavorful, would recommend.
