Some of the best Tijuana tacos!! The pastor is my favorite and they are ready quickly.

I saw this location earlier and decided to give it a try. The young lady at the front counter seemed miserable and was speaking very fast when asking me questions about my order. She also had a difficult time keeping eye contact with me during the transaction. The tacos were disappointing. read more

My cousin, who recently moved to SoCal, is on a quest to find the best tacos in the IE. We were already in Colton for another engagement and she found Tacos La Central to try. We were not expecting much given that it was a literal stand alone building in the middle of nowhere. If Google didn't direct us there, we would have missed it. Our first impression was that the meat selections were limited--no lingua, tripas, nor chacete. We did a takeout order given the 97 degree heat but did notice a nice outdoor seating area that would be perfect in cooler weather. In a few short minutes, our order was called. I tried the adobada, chorizo, and asada and was blown away by the flavor. The meat was wonderfully charred, seasoned, and aromatic. They were even generous with guacamole, radish, onions, and cilantro served on fluffy, soft corn tortillas. Tacos La Central wins for the most flavorful tacos! read more

This place was really good with the handmade tortillas in the authentic Tijuana style tacos. Service was prompt and the food came out within a few minutes. We got a few Carne Asada tacos and a few chicken. The meat was smoky and delicious and the tortillas mixed with the guacamole that they put on the taco was phenomenal. You have to try the frijoles de olla and make sure to get the cheese to add on top. Delicious! Will be returning! read more

4++ Tijuana style taco spot located in Colton. From what I understand, this place is a long standing neighborhood fave. The spot itself is a standalone building/ stand with an outside seating area that felt tranquil and some parking along the front/side of the building. Dining with the fellow patrons, I definitely got the vibe that it's a beloved neighborhood spot. When I got up to the window and ordered, the person was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The tacos were really delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered an asada taco and an adobada taco. Both with everything, which means when it comes to TJ style, you get a healthy dose of the avocado salsa in these handmade tortilla rolled up delights. During my meal, I was greeted by a really cute guest (it was a cat and I think she was a stray - i gave here a few bites from my food and she was on her way). Definitely a great spot that serves great tacos and I can see why this place is loved. read more

Today, June 24, at 2:00 PM, I stopped by this taqueria. The short young woman working there treated me terribly--insulting and yelling at me--while I was trying to look at the menu. This isn't the first time it's happened. I feel sorry for this place, but the service is awful; I will never come back here. read more

Tacos La Central - This is the receipt I told I give me my money back because you have a really really bad attitude - Mexican Near Me - Colton, California

Their Al Pastor & Asada tacos a phenomenal. The flavors were full & tasty. You can tell they do a good job with marinating their meats. The tacos were stuffed full with all the toppings. Price was fair. The team members were nice. I took a slight detour on my way from AZ to Central CA to try this spot & I was not disappointed. I'll definitely hit up this spot again if I find myself in the area. read more

The tacos here are phenomenal! The al pastor is the way to go, it is spit roasted and always crispy. Service is wonderful, they are so friendly and hard-working here. There are always lines, but they move quickly. Prices are fair and their salsa at the perfect touch. Highly recommended if you are looking for delicious tacos in the area! read more

Tacos La Central - Tacos - Mexican Near Me - Colton, California

Best TJ style tacos in the Inland Empire, no doubt about it. Coming from East LA, there are no other comparable tacos to Tacos La Central. Their hand made tortilla is thick enough without it tasting too much like corn, the meat is perfectly cut and seasoned, and the salsa roja on their asada tacos is just the absolute best. This is a must stop place whenever we come to the area . We had a brief convo with the bosses and they were very kind and welcoming. We wish them the best of luck in their business and we believe they should have more spots throughout the IE. Better than Tacos El Gordo! read more

Tacos La Central - Tacos de Al pastor - Mexican Near Me - Colton, California

These are the best Al pastor tacos in the area. They are very very good although I wish they came with pineapple. In addition their agua de Jamaica is very very good. It's like a citrus blend that is honestly one of the best Jamaicas I've had. The con is that it's cash only but it's definitely worth it. Also side note if you're a cat lover there's always a Gang of Four neighborhood cats here which I absolutely adore. I also get an extra taco to share with them. read more

We have been here multiple times and the food is always delicious. The tacos are absolutely mouth watering and the mulitas are scrumptious. My son said it was really busy but we went on a Thursday around :4pm and no one was there. That quickly changed after we ordered. We each got carne asada tacos and they were great. Tacos La Central - Tacos de asada And adobada - Mexican Near Me - Colton, California

This is authentic experience. And top of that. They will fill up the taco with very generous amount of protein. I was pretty happy with the flavor, it reminded me of the street tacos in TJ. I have been wanting to try style tacos for a while, so I was excited that Tacos La Central was en route for our trip. The service was fast and easy. They have a simple menu with meat choices of Steak, Adobada (pork), chicken, and chorizo. The tortillas are made fresh and the tacos are loaded. The staff was friendly and efficient. I rate the staff a 4/5. The food was a 3/5 for me. The meat flavor was good on the adobada, the chicken was nothing memorable, and the steak was a bit of a surprise with the smoky flavor. The salsas were ok. The green avocado salsa barely tasted like avocados, and didn't have much of a flavor. The white sauce on the adobado tacos tasted kind of like mayonnaise, or ranch, which was off-putting. They also did not have drinks other than Coke available at the time we went (which was 2 pm on a Sunday). That was also a bummer as I do not drink that soda. I did ask the employee if they had a spicy salsa, and she gave me a container with a tomato sauce which tasted more like the sauce used on pupusas and not at all spicy. The mulita was loaded with cheese which I did like but the chicken was too bland for me. Overall, I would not mind revisiting this spot, I would however stick to the adobada, bring my own spicy salsa or jalapeño asado, and use the salt they have by the pickup window. read more

I'm always craving adobada tacos and this is the only spot in the area that has them! The tacos are HUGE!! They put so much meat in each taco. The meat is slightly under seasoned but still pretty good. The salsas do need some work Service was quick. I was in and out within 10 mins and this was around lunch time read more

I really enjoy coming to this place because the food is amazing. The tacos are absolutely delicious and keep me coming back. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointing. The girls working there often seem rude and unwelcoming. They barely make eye contact, don't acknowledge customers while waiting in line, and hand over the food without a smile, a thank you, or any friendly interaction. It can come across as though they're acting like they work at a very prestigious place rather than making customers feel welcome. The owners should do something about this. Perhaps some additional customer service training or guidance for the staff could help create a more welcoming experience that matches the quality of the food. read more

Amazing tacos. This place is the real deal and they use charcoal to cook their meats. I definitely recommend checking it out

Apparently this place gets packed and it's honestly worth the hype. ** they do take card** I love the see through kitchen where you can see them cut the meat and make the tortillas! Parking might be a little limited since it's in a small lot but there's plenty of seating (outside). ~$3 a taco, the menu is pretty simple and limited but the quality for each item is there. each taco was filled to the brim with meat! Asada taco 5/5: I love the guacamole that comes with it. I think I got unlucky but one bite I think i got a piece of bone or hard piece of meat but over all the rest was so tender and flavorful. Adobada tacos 5/5: this was a little spicy for me but my friends said they didn't feel any spice. But the meat was so flavorful. I did notice some of the meat were on the harder side (maybe some pieces were over cooked) The tacos were so good, my friends regretted only getting 2 LOL read more
