They came out sizzling and the aromatics spread across the entire restaurant. The veggies are sautéed nicely, the meat is grilled, and it's packed with flavor. The shredded beef taco was crispy, the meat was tender and juicy, and it had the perfect amount of fresh veggies. I love added their pico de gallo and salsa to it. The cheese enchiladas are the best I've ever had. They're simple but have a bold flavor. The cheese pull is real when you eat them. The service was great today. Bae forgot to ask for La Olla beans and or waiter was nice enough to still bring him some. I updated the all you can eat menu photo because the price went up to $22.99. The ambiance here is casual. Came here a few days ago with my family as I was craving authentic Mexican crunchy tacos. I got the combo plate of 1 crunchy taco and 1 enchilada with rice and substituted the beans for salad. By the time I got my food, one side of my taco became soggy (probably from the salad that was next to it because the salad was watery). And my (cheese) enchilada wasn't hot so when I cut into it, the cheese was all hard and not cheesy. But my mom and dad's food came out to their liking. My mom ordered the combo plate with 2 tacos, rice, and salad substituted for beans and her tacos were perfectly crunchy. And my dad ordered the chile relleño. Ive been coming to this place off and on for years now. It's become sort of a staple with my family. Their food has never let me down and the Micheladas are different but delicious. The set up of the restaurant is pretty basic but has tvs so if you want to watch a game you can. It's always a good vibe, good time and good experience. The only 1 thing they lack is the service. It's not bad but it's also not great. This place is so good even in pouring rain this place was busy. When I walked in there was a wait list sign in table but they took us right away. It's set up half booths and half tables in the restaurant. Plenty of seating. And even with it being busy it did not stop the service from being on top. Our waiter was so nice and checked up refilling drinks and not in an over bearing way. The food was fantastic. So many options but I ended up with a carne asada burrito with rice and beans inside. Right away I noticed with the rice this place was going to be good. From my experience I've only been to 3 Mexican restaurants that use only rice in their rice. Most places I go add peas and corn or something to filler it to not give you all rice and cut cost. This place makes it like you make it at home or with your Abuela. And the carne asada. Wow!!! The customers service was fine, but considering that there was basically no other customers apart from us, it could've been better. It did kind of feel like they were trying to rush us out, which didn't really make sense fiancé they had just opened for the day. The french toast was average. Not bad but also not something to rave about. I'm not going to lie, the eggs were flavorless. No seasoning at all. Just a bit of salt would've done wonders. The bacon was good, but bacon is always good so that was no surprise. The food is alright but I don't feel the need to come back and eat here again. The best thing about this meal was the freshly squeezed orange juice. You could tell that the oranges were ripe because the juice was sweet and refreshing. I took my mom and daughter today for lunch around 11 am. The food is always great, but today the customer service was horrible. We were sat down by the waitress. She took our drink order. I noticed she kept getting upset for speaking Spanish because my mom was there out of respect I kept speaking Spanish but she understood . She brought my mom the wrong drink. Then, we waited about 10-15 min to have our food order taken while I saw the waitress sitting and attending people after we got there. A tall slim waiter with a mustache took our order. He didn't look happy because it seems he had no choice to help us out. He never introduced or interacted with us nor did he come over to ask if we needed anything. He only spoke very little and his demeanor was of being annoyed. We never said or acted rude. I smile and tried to make conversation I am very keen on customer service. Time had passed and we were not getting the check and we had been done for a while. I went to the register where the guy waiter who assisted us got the check pad wrote down my bill and showed it to me again with little to no words. I paid and said thank you. We left. I'm liking this place already! I was immediately offered a drink--I opted for the 2-for-1 Friday HH mimosas. Started with those. Freshly-squeezed OJ , BTW. Next, half dozen oysters . Big & delicious!($14.99) They are served w/lime wedges only but I asked for horseradish to dress them up a bit. Next up, my main course, Camarones Agauchiles ($21.99) (pictured) and my drink pairing. While their Tequila menu is not listed, a picture gives some insight into their selections: I ordered a Patròn neat and Enrique suggested a Don Julio Añejo for the same price (TBH, I didn't catch how much). The Camarones Aguachiles were excellent! Freshly prepared Serrano pepper green sauce poured over the butterflied and deveined shrimps, cucumber & Heirloom tomato slices topped with slices of avocado. The tall guy who use to have a mustache and is bald he's really rude and makes you feel unwelcome all the time. Today 7/20/25 my girls and I felt so humiliated by owner, we came to eat breakfast and like always our plates where barely filled with anything we ordered; three specials of Huevos a la gringa" I asked to speak with owner. He came up and just looked at me with a strange look when he came to our table and yet even say if he can help us or what we need... so I said" are your the manager he said " I'm the owner with a upset and unpleasant look on his face. I told him that every time I come the plates are barely centimeters of rice and beans just spread so thin and the scrabble egg portion is so small that can barely feed a child . His response was, " Well you got a $5 plate that is a special what else can you expect ?" My response was " oh since it's a $5 plate it's ok to just smear the food as thin as possible including the rice and beans?, and a very small portion of scramble eggs on plate?" Owner answered " Well I did not see the portion, the cooks do whatever they want back there and I'm not there to check" and so I proceeded to say " you know me very well and you know we are your regular customers, I always come with my two girls here and you just don't believe my word about how small these portions are? Owner said " well you are just a woman here coming with your kids and I just can't believe everything you say. I told him " are you sure you are the owner?" He said " Yes I am Ismael the owner " I was like wow ok nice, thank you very much but I will never come here to eat again" owner responded " that ok, shaking his head like with a smirk smile. Came here for breakfast with the family and we were seated promptly. I've been here a few times and we haven't had a bad experience. I definitely wasn't happy with the chilaquiles because of the onions and sauce was decent. My son ordered a chorizo burrito and my wife ordered menudo. My son didn't have any issues with the burrito and my wife enjoyed the menudo. Overall service was solid and we had a waiter who checked up on us several times. The beans and rice were really good, but the chilaquiles were definitely something I could never see myself ordering again.
