Ginger sauce

Niyozaki grill is so good. I highly recommend it if you are craving hibachi. I usually get their Niyozaki rice plate with steak and chicken which comes with 2 scoops of rice and I also ask for vegetables. The steak is tender with a lot of flavor. Their ginger sauce is so good and you can tell they make it there. Everything is made to order so it's fresh when you get it. The people there are nice and they make me feel welcomed. I don't really dine in so I don't say much about the ambiance but it's clean when you walk in. I highly recommend this place.

Great food for great prices! I've been wanting to try this place out and finally had the chance to. I ordered their chicken and beef yakisoba and chicken rice plate. The rice plate was really good. The yakisoba was good too. I'd definitely go back and if you're looking for something good and new to try with good prices then check them out.

Steak, shrimp, and scallop plate with fried rice

Tried this Teppanyaki-style grill tonight and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the fried rice with steak, shrimp, and scallops, and for only $13.99, it was an incredible deal. The flavors were great, the portion was generous, and I loved the variety of vegetables included. My only small complaint was that the steak was more well-done than I prefer--probably my fault for not specifying, but they also didn't ask. Next time, I'll make sure to request it how I like it. Definitely coming back to try the noodles next!

Steak and Scallop Rice Plate

Niyozaki Grill caught me by surprise! I ordered a steak and scallop plate with fried rice. The plate is made to order and comes with a huge amount of veggies. The steak and scallops had good flavor and were cooked just right. The fried rice is underwhelming as it seems to be just soy sauce and butter. For the price, you can't expect much. It's honestly a decently healthy meal for a fraction of the price of a sit-down teppanyaki restaurant

Chicken and Veggies is delicious!! Not salty, very flavorful!! So happy I tried this place tonight!!

Chicken and veggies are delicious!! Customer service was great too!! Will definitely be coming back!! Thank you!

The food is so delicious, service is quick and easy, ambiance is very quiet and calm, I usually get my food to go and call it in ahead of time. The amount of food you get for the price is very very reasonable.

First thing, who i presume is the owner, was behind the sushi counter making sushi. He politely greeted me and i like that he acknowledged it was not just me, but baby as well. He directed us towards a corner booth. I noticed this place is pretty clean and seems to be an authentic sushi restaurant. At 1pm they did have a decent crowd. The server came over promptly and took my order. I had the mixed tempura and the lunch sushi combo with a coke She came back with my drinks and a miso soup. I love miso soup and this is a good one. Not too salty and it separates when not stirred- a sign of good miso soup. Within about 7 minutes, she brought out my mixed tempura. It was light, airy and still crispy and the dipping sauce had that perfect flavor. When i was about half way down with the tempura she brought my sushi combo. EXTREMELY FRESH! The nigiri was perfectly proportioned. The California roll was equally as fresh. The difference between a good roll and a bad roll is the rice. The rice was fresh and soft. This place is a green flag in the best way possible. I think this will be my new sushi go to place.

Living in Florida, I've tried to find others but none ever compare. Until my most recent trip, however, I had only eaten from their Rancho Cucamonga location. The food at both is great, but I did like the RC location more. The Fontana location is a little larger and seemed slightly less crowded since RC is always busy. The staff is by far nicer, friendlier, and more helpful at the Rancho location too. It had been at least 8 years since I had eaten at the RC location and I don't even know if the Fontana location existed back then, but I ordered from here the first night. The burritos were good as always but the Omokase was my favorite! The spicy tuna inside is yummy and definitely has a good bite to it. The heavenly burrito came with a spicy ponzu dipping sauce and the Omokase burrito came with spicy mayo and eel sauce. The second time I ordered (before leaving to go back to Florida), they didn't give me any sauces and the lady at the front gave me a hard time asking for the sauces that they came with it. I found it strange since RC gives them also and I had placed an order well over $100, but she giving me a hard time about sauces they have readily available pre-portioned by the door. It struck me as odd and made it so that I was always order from RC from now. Although the experience wasn't favorable, the food is so good and with the right people, it should be no problem. Full disclosure: I've never eaten anything other than their sushi burritos so I can't vouch for any other food, but they are alone are worth 3 visits on my 5 day trip! :)

My girl and I don't eat sushi so we always order the teriyaki chicken bowls or the bento boxes. Their Cajun chicken , teriyaki chicken and beef is fire. With that said, we found out by accident we had one local in Fontana and we went with our go to order teriyaki bowl and bento box. As soon as I took the first bite I was like wait a minute, is this the same omakase. I was puzzled because the teriyaki chicken tasted stale, old, and rusty if that's even possible. The one in Fontana taste nothing like the one in Rancho I was extremely disappointed and will not be going to omakase in Fontana ever again. Honestly I'm glad I went to Rancho first because If I hadn't I wouldn't eat at omakase franchise with the experience I had tonight in Fontana. Great staff but damn 40.00 for old chicken? Do better

Unfortunately, my last two visits have been really disappointing, and it feels like things have gone downhill. Most recently with my last visit, the service was extremely slow. I watched food sit at the pass and saw my own order sitting on the sushi counter for over 20 minutes before anyone brought it out. At one point for the second round, I actually timed how long it took from when the server picked up our order slip to when food actually started arriving it was around 40 minutes before the first items started to came out. The visit before that wasn't much better. It also took a long time despite the restaurant not being busy, and the fish quality seemed noticeably off. I usually love the unagi and salmon here, but that day the unagi was cold, rubbery, and had an off-putting taste. The salmon tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a few days and was close to going bad. At this point, I can't recommend coming back, which is disappointing because this used to be one of my go-to spots in Rancho :(

This place was an interesting one. Found this place off Yelp. It was a Saturday evening and the…read morerestaurant was EMPTY. For a weekend, you'd think it was busy. Then I thought should that be a sign...? but we still decided to give them a try. We ordered their onion rings, fries, vegan ramen, and curry plate. The ramen was okay. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The taste was okay. The items that were fried was decent. Now the curry we ate was weird. It tasted sour. We've eatin many different types of curry; Singaporean, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. We have never had that odd taste before with curry. Generally turmeric shouldn't be that way. We're our server know and ask about it (because it may have been spoiled). They didn't give an answer as to why it tasted sour until we asked again. And their answer was "maybe it was t to our liking." It was a strange taste... I don't know if that was their own rendition or used fish sauce or lemon grass or lime but it didn't fit right so we couldn't eat it. I still honestly don't know if the pot of curry was spoiled that we ate. The server (Sarah) did try to correct the issue by offering to replace the meal, and she also offered a small discount. We didn't see much that was suitable for us so we declined the offer. We left the spot and that was the end of that. The place was completely empty. No one was dining in. Now I know why and after reading all the other reviews regarding quality and taste.
