Customer service is good and each employee is helpful and respectful. This location specifically takes a long time with orders as it seems to be a popular spot. Prices are also too high! I noticed someone walk in to the kitchen with a gray shirt and beard. The first thing I observed is that he did not put on a beard cover. Come to find out, he's the regional manager. I mentioned this concern to an employee and she said she would mention it to him. I was here for at least 20 minutes after bringing the concern up and he still didn't put on a beard cover. I hope this review aids in bringing awareness and mindfulness to OSHA regulations in any professional kitchen and is not taken lightly or disregarded despite a person's title. read more

Best place 100% recommend it been going here for over 35 years thank you

Restaurant was clean and service was fast . Food came out hot and everything tasted great.

I give them credit for addressing a previous issue of excessive saltiness in their food. There was improvement there. Employees have always been polite. One star off due to not putting ginger and red pepper packets, as requested through their online ordering system, in the bag. This happened with my last two orders. There is a little shrinkage in their portions of clam chowder but the soup is still good tasting with the chopped clam pieces. Crackers were fresh tasting. read more

A Profound Act of Kindness at Yoshinoya (Fontana - 16833 Valley Blvd, Fontana, CA 92335.) My wife and I visited the drive-through at the Yoshinoya on Valley Boulevard in Fontana around 1:30 AM this morning (October 19, 2025). We had spent the entire day at the hospital and were emotionally drained, as we had just had to say goodbye to a beloved family member. My wife was particularly sad, but she requested a Yoshinoya bowl because it was a comforting meal that reminded her of her late uncle. The crew member who took our order and served us at the window was exceptional. From the moment she spoke, she was incredibly polite, respectful, and humble. When we approached the window, she genuinely asked how our day was. Sharing our difficult story--and seeing my wife tearful--the employee showed immense sympathy. We were unable to concentrate enough to ask for essential items, but this amazing employee had already prepared everything. Our bag contained all the necessary soy sauce, hot sauce, napkins, and utensils. She pointed to the bag and simply said, "Everything's in the back. You have a blessed day and a wonderful day. We're so sorry for your loss." Her genuine empathy made a terrible day instantly better. However, the final, most touching gesture came when we got home. As we removed our food, something fell out of the bag: a cookie with a handwritten message on it. The note read: "You guys have a wonderful day. God bless you. Everything's gonna be OK." My wife and I were moved to tears by this completely unexpected act of human compassion. We don't even know the name of this crew member, but her humbleness, sympathy, and genuine desire to bring a moment of light to strangers during their darkest time are an absolute credit to the Yoshinoya crew. We want to express our deepest gratitude and respect for this entire team. This crew member didn't just serve us a meal; she gave us a moment of warmth and hope. We are surprised and deeply thankful for the heart shown by the Yoshinoya crew that morning. read more

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Andrew Cardenas at Yoshinoya for providing truly excellent customer service. I pay close attention to customer service, and Andrew stood out because he was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. I had quite a few questions, and he never once made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing him. I know how important good customer service is, and unfortunately not everyone takes the time to be patient and respectful these days. Andrew made the experience a great one, and I just wanted to make sure his effort and professionalism were acknowledged. Thank you for going above and beyond! read more

The food always tastes great and the portions are great. I wish they'd bring back the choice of potatoes over vegetables but aside from that I enjoy the variety of items they bring every now and then. Drive Thru can get a little hectic when everyone is trying to order here and other cars are trying to drive around but it's not world ending. I recently downloaded the app and found it has so many great deals, it's also easy to just place an order and pick up inside or go through the drive thru. The workers are very pleasant and the night crew has never disappointed me when I place an order. read more

Did a phone order for pick up due to I am disabled and in a wheelchair. Had my nurse go pick it up our order and two of our combo bowls received half habanero chicken and was dry as hell. spoke with Carrie and told her what had happened and will have my nurse go back tomorrow and get a replacement. Bottom line this was an inconvenient for someone. Who's disabled. Here is a picture of what my food looks like once I received it. Both orders came out exactly like this very disappointed in Yoshinoya and their staff read more

Use your app when ordering at Yoshinoya. They always have great deals on food here on Sierra in Fontana. Today they had two large bowls for $15.99 special. Orders are super quick and ready in 10-15 minutes. I also picked up the clam chowder that's thicker these days, 8 piece crunchy shrimp tempura, chicken, Tokyo fried chicken 5 pc, and a large mango black tea. Don't forget to order FREE BROTH in person or in the app. Makes for a great dip or a sipping soup with your meal. I go here once every week or two. read more
