First time coming here. My friends and I are doing a roadtrip from NorCal to LA and saw this place go viral. Deff worth it. Line is out the door but you understand why once you eat the meat. Tender, juicy and flavorful. Location is small, so deff a to go place or if you're able to snag a table out side, that would be better option. We were eating and the birria I had gotten was so salty, I couldn't eat it. A team member heard my complaint (I just told my friends it was too salty to eat) and they got me new tacos with a different meat and it was SO good. Friendly, decently clean, and great food. Would come again if I'm ever in the area
Tip: stop in after 12 better around 2 pm to avoid the crowds. Set up is like chipotle for Mexican Cuisine . First decide if you want a burrito or a plate , pick your carbs rice , beans and protein choice of 7 different types of meat options. Next decide on which sides corn, salsa , cucumber, cilantro etc. then choose a sauce , green , red or guacamole . Lastly a choice of salads . They are not stingy here , it's piled on high . The 3 plates I ordered were shared amongst my self and the kids. Its portions were huge and definitely worth sharing. 4 star due to each bite had tough texture of meat . I had to spit out 3x , the meat were so tough I can't chew . My daughter had the same Baqba beef and hers were fine .

I just had no idea their location was in the Renaissance! Baqba is always packed and it can be difficult to find parking. We got in line which was out the door! It is always busy and everyone is always coming in and out. The line did move quickly. You can see the staff making freshly made tortillas for burritos and cooking in the back. I ordered a bowl with birra, white rice, pinto beans, jalapeños, salsa, sour cream, onion, tomato, and cilantro. Additional meat/toppings cost extra. We were in and out pretty quickly, considering the line. There are a couple of tables inside and out. It was good! I will definitely be back. The hype is worth it.

It's very much like chipotle except that the proteins are seasoned to the Gods! And so are their pinto beans!!! I loved all of the condiment options- different from chipotle. I also added a small bag of chips and queso for $5.49 more. Everyone was so nice, since it was my first time they offered multiple samples. if it was closer to Loma Linda i would definitely be back!

The huge flour tortillas are made to order and you can watch them cook them fresh. Can't beat a freshly made tortilla for a burrito. I chose chicken for my protein along with toppings of grilled vegetables, brown rice, both pinto and black beans, jalapeños, corn, onion, cilantro, pico and green salsa, and pineapple. It made for a humongous burrito which almost didn't close. The chicken was well seasoned and flavorful. The rest of the toppings were fresh and good tasting. All in all, a very large burrito which is large enough to share or have for several meals. I will probably come back to try the arrachera next time since that appears to be very popular. Service was very fast, friendly, and efficient.
This place reminds me of the food trucks from the '90s, and I mean that in the best way. Back when food trucks were packed with Hispanics/Latinos pumping out great food that reminded you of home. This was before certain people in Southern California complained and got the food trucks shut down, only to reopen them a few years later with shitty food and call it "gourmet." The staff is friendly. Honestly, they're all working hard like a well-tuned machine that's churning out amazing food. The place itself is clean, and that freaking matters. I appreciate a clean joint. Now for the food... I ordered a chicken burrito. When I unwrapped that burrito, it was huge and glorious. It was like the first time I saw my Chicana wife's butt, it brought tears to my eyes. It was about one and a half times the size of a Chipotle burrito. The flavor... the flavor was truly amazing. The chicken was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, with a slight smoky flavor and a light peppery finish. The toppings for the burrito were great too, with plenty to choose from. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla. That bad boy was huge and packed with chicken and veggies. My wife's bowl was loaded with so much chicken that she couldn't finish it. The beans and rice were juicy and flavorful as well. Also, their tortillas are fresh and made right on the spot. Overall, this joint is dope. It reminds me of a '90s Mexican spot. It's packed with friendly staff, and they have BOGO deals before 5 p.m. I'll definitely be coming back. I want Baqba to know they'll be contributing to me becoming diabetic... but it's worth it.
Came in here to try a new place! For it being a basic entry Mexican food takeout, it was actually very tasty. I would only give take away half star for the room inside the store because it's very very small but they do have tables outside to eat. Otherwise they get a complete five. You have many options to choose from - you can order burritos, bowls, tacos, etc. My choice was Carne Asada with whole beans & brown rice and it was actually very good. I added creamy guacamole, pico de gallo, sautéed vegetables, sour cream cheese. They have a variety of fixings to add to the entree choice. It is like an assembly line like Subway... I would recommend trying this place in the Rialto marketplace shopping center. It's right off Renaissance on the southside near Yogurtland.
I pulled up around 11:30 thinking I beat the lunch rush but nah lol , line was out the door. The line moved quick though! I got a burrito with al pastor and a bowl with their baqba steak. The burrito was massive, I have no idea how they managed to roll it up their sauces were good too, red is definitely spicier than the green. Definitely coming back here , just for the portion sizes

The flavor of their food is great and they give MASSIVE portions. There's very little seating inside but there are a few tables a Ming a wall with some art/slogans on it... they have a couple patio tables on the sidewalk outside their doors.
This place first popped up on my radar when it was described as a 'more authentic' version of popular chain where you get to order Mexican food in a conveyer, fast casual type of way. And for the record, I am a fan of the referenced chain, but I am also a fan of authenticity, so I knew I had to come here at some point. I stopped by off the freeway while returning from a trip up to Big Bear and this place is conveniently located not too far away from the exit. As soon as I walked up, it definitely had the same vibe and feeling where you get in line and you wait to order your main and which form you want it in. The service here is very friendly. I thought I'd beat the dinner crowd by a little bit, but it was already pretty packed. I ordered the Steak Arrachera in the form of a bowl. I added my usual toppings that I do at the other place so it's pretty similar. I do have to say the steak was delicious. If anything, the food is little more well seasoned here. I'm a fan! It's also very reasonably priced compared to other similar places these days There's plenty of parking in the lot, but this place is pretty high traffic with the amount of retail stores and other restaurants in the area

Our first time here. The line was not bad at all. Super small location. The portion is big. I didn't like the rice at all. The meat didn't have flavor. I was not impressed. Excellent customer service from the beginning of the line to the end excellent customer service. read more

Finally had the chance to try this spot! Thanks to TikTok and Instagram! Small location and had a line. FYI be prepared to wait. Same concept of chipotle but definitely way better and the portions are insane. I ordered an Arrachera bowl and I couldn't finish it with the amount that they give. Good flavor with every bite!! They have a variety of meat options. They even have Birria!!! Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu! The seating inside is limited as well as the outdoor seating. One of the workers by the name Yalissa was friendly and attentive. Hopefully they can open one in Jurupa Valley or the Chino area! read more

I had a great experience here. I recently had major dental work done, so I can't chew very well right now. I asked if they could cut my meat into much smaller pieces, and they happily took it back and sliced it even more for me. It probably held up the line a bit, but they never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. That level of customer service really meant a lot. I ordered a bowl with rice, beans, and al pastor. Because of my current situation, I couldn't eat all of the toppings, so I wasn't able to enjoy it the way it was intended. That wasn't the restaurant's fault at all. What I was able to eat was good, and thanks to their kindness, I was actually able to enjoy my meal with very little chewing. Great customer service goes a long way, and they definitely earned my five-star review. Thank you for taking the extra time to help me. read more
The hype is true. All of it. Line is long. Food is amazing. Employees are kind and patient, as if the line isn't the DMV. The two employees I want to shout out are Jacob and Lesly. They had the patience of a catholic nun, and Jacob did a great job making my burrito, and Lesly was uniquely pleasant with us when she checked us out. There's very little room inside the place, unless you don't mind being sardines next to the packed line while you eat and the AC blowing on you. The portions of meat are what everyone wishes chipotle does. It's almost too much, and that's a great problem. We ate it at home and all the food was amazing. All the salsas were good and had flavor that added to an already delicious burrito and bowl we ordered. Just go there and order anything. There's no bad choice. Even some of my company that were vegan enjoyed their food better than chipotle. Just go eat here and see for yourself already. read more
I did not expect this place to be this delicious! Fresh flour tortillas made to order. They have melted cheese options. They also sell tacos and bowls. The tacos are pricy. The burrito on the other hand is so big its shareable. Two skinny people can literally cut in in half but if you're a big back or love burritos this is the spot! I got arrachera burrito with melted cheese, rice and pinto beans Lettuce Sour cream Pico Cilantro crema And salsas on the side Guac on the side Guac small is 1.99 and 1$ for melted cheese. The rachera is also the prociest meat on the menu at 14.50 but we'll worth it. Will definitely come back and try their other meat options and menu variety. I'd come back alone for the tortillas. Well done! Disclaimer: peak wait times around 12pm lunch hour rush. Inside is super small. (They need a bigger location) located in the plaza with plenty of parking. Service was excellent. They do have a rewards system to add points and receive discounts (like most places) They accept cash, tap, card etc. They have chips and guac like Chipotle but their rice tastes like Cafe Rio in Redlands. Leslie had great customer service (which is unheard of most days anymore). The wait wasn't as bad as it looked from the outside. It's huge so share! They will cut it in half for you. Alondra and Leslie prepared and served us our delicious burritos (steak sirloin and Birria), Birria bowl, and our humongous nachos with steak sirloin). The lines were out the door and with no one leaving it either. That's how good the food is here. It was a bit tight inside but it was because there were so many customers coming in and exiting the restaurant. The food portions are huge so bring your appetite! read more

Finally tried Baqba Safe to say I'll be going back to Baqba in 30 business days once I finish this burrito Staff was so nice! My husband initially brought Baqba leftovers home one day, and I was surprised at how good the carne asada was, considering it had been sitting in the container for several hours. I was excited when we got to try it recently after a long day at work. We sat outside despite the cold weather because the place had a huge line, and although there was room to sit, it felt very crowded. This time I had the birria, and it did not disappoint. The reason for the lack of photos is that we absolutely devoured the food. The al pastor pork was also insane, and overall, everything was delicious. The price is hefty, but it's worth the amount of food you get! I would say we arrived around 9 PM, and some of the toppings were looking a little dated. For instance, the corn was quite unappetizing, and I didn't like that they used a yellow onion instead of the traditional white onion. This is the reason for the docked star. We will definitely be back, mainly because Miguel, whom I assume would be in charge, was absolutely delightful and came around multiple times to ask how we were and if we were enjoying our experience. Definitely worth trying it out! It gives Chipotle a run for its money. read more

I've been here many times before when they first opened, and unfortunately, I don't feel like it's quite as great as it used to be. In my opinion, the portions seem noticeably smaller than they were before, which was a little disappointing. I got the Baqba steak in my quesadilla and it was so salty and overly greasy. I only had one piece that was cut for me and could barely finish it because it was so salty and greasy. I don't see myself finishing the rest and likely won't come back again for awhile. I also noticed a lot of new faces of staff members , and the hospitality just isn't what I remember. The ladies were a little more welcoming and attentive, while the guys seemed uninterested and not as friendly. One other thing I noticed was being charged an extra $0.50 for doing half-and-half meat, even though both meat options were the same price. I don't mind paying an additional charge if that's the policy, but I think it should be clearly noted on the menu so customers know ahead of time rather than seeing the extra charge when paying. This place used to be a 5/5 for me, but the experience today is much less. I hope they can bring back some of the quality, portions, and hospitality that made the place stand out when it first opened. read more
OMG this spot is the business. From the time I went inside I was amazed at how well managed it was with so many workers at one time. All the food is prepared fresh in front of you. The service was super Duper. Inside and outside seating available, it was a very calming atmosphere with so much variety to enjoy. I would recommend it to everyone who likes Mexican cuisine. You will not regret it. One burrito will feed you and the family, my sister took hers home and feed her husband and still had enough for nachos after. Prices are reasonable. read more
Baqba Mexican Grill in Rialto has been super hyped lately so I had to check it out for myself. The place was packed, but the line moved surprisingly fast. Service was good the whole way through and the staff kept everything moving without making you feel rushed. Inside was clean and it was cool seeing all the meats on display while they built everything fresh in front of you. Flavor wise, I wouldn't say it was S-tier Mexican food, but the portions absolutely made up for it. The burrito was huge, the tortillas tasted fresh, and they definitely do not skimp on the meat. Overall, a solid spot if you're hungry and want good value with quick service. read more

We drove from Los Angeles to try the food at Baqba, Mexican Grill, and well, I'd do it again, and again, and again!!! The food was DELICIOUS!! Everything was fresh and the serving sizes are BEYOND generous! We ordered two bowls and a burrito, We could have EASILY shared a bowl among three people! Baqba Mexican Grill is worth the drive! They have several fresh toppings that you add to your either brown or white rice base. You have a choice of black or pinto beans. The protein choices are chicken, two types of asada, birria, carnitas, or barbacoa. They also have a veggies option. Red or green salsa add flavor along with several other choices including cilantro sauce, sour cream, corn, pico de gallo, onions, and cilantro. I preferred the green salsa over the red. It looked like they had a spicier red salsa, but we didn't try that one. We will be coming back for sure; even better, Baqba, let's consider a Los Angeles location read more

I think lard they are flavorful but if you dont like lard get a bowl they give you tons take home and use your own tortillas
