Holy smokes this place is delicious! Got the steak bowl and they filled up the bowl, providing large portions. I had another 1/3rd left of my bowl after eating this on an empty hungry tummy. The steak has so much flavor and melts in your mouth. They don't cheap out on it either so every bite has a little bit or chunk of steak in it. The sauces they put on there hits too. They're creamy and plays well with the other ingredients, which all taste fresh and delicious. The service is quick but it can get crazy sometimes. On days where they have bogo 50% off, the lines are crazy long, which is understandable. Overall, I love this place. It makes Chipotle feel mid. read more

I've been a loyal Chipotle customer for years, but after finally trying Baqba Mexican Grill, I can honestly say I'm hooked. I ordered the steak arrachera burrito, and it was MASSIVE--literally bigger than some newborn babies I've held. What really stood out was how generous they were with the meat. Unlike Chipotle, where it sometimes feels like you're getting more rice than anything else, Baqba loads you up with high-quality steak in every bite. And the price? Only a few dollars more, which is completely worth it for the portion and quality. Speaking of quality, everything tasted fresh and well-made. Even the tortilla impressed me--it held together all the way to the last bite, even though the burrito was so big it could barely stay closed. That's something I've never experienced at Chipotle, where the tortilla usually gives out halfway through. The customer service took the experience to another level. Not once, but twice, employees came outside to check on us and see if we needed anything. One of them even stayed and talked with us for about five minutes, asking what we liked most and genuinely engaging with us while we were clearly excited to try them for the first time. That kind of service is rare. We ordered two burritos, ate most of them, and the leftovers alone weighed almost 3 pounds--that's how huge these things are. The service was super Duper. Inside and outside seating available, it was a very calming atmosphere with so much variety to enjoy. I would recommend it to everyone who likes Mexican cuisine. Baqba Mexican Grill in Rialto has been super hyped lately so I had to check it out for myself. The place was packed, but the line moved surprisingly fast. Service was good the whole way through and the staff kept everything moving without making you feel rushed. Inside was clean and it was cool seeing all the meats on display while they built everything fresh in front of you. This place first popped up on my radar when it was described as a 'more authentic' version of popular chain where you get to order Mexican food in a conveyer, fast casual type of way. And for the record, I am a fan of the referenced chain, but I am also a fan of authenticity, so I knew I had to come here at some point. I stopped by off the freeway while returning from a trip up to Big Bear and this place is conveniently located not too far away from the exit. As soon as I walked up, it definitely had the same vibe and feeling where you get in line and you wait to order your main and which form you want it in. The service here is very friendly. I thought I'd beat the dinner crowd by a little bit, but it was already pretty packed. I ordered the Steak Arrachera in the form of a bowl. I added my usual toppings that I do at the other place so it's pretty similar. I do have to say the steak was delicious. If anything, the food is little more well seasoned here. I'm a fan! I was on the fence between eating at Cava vs Baqba since there was a long line outside of Baqba. I am happy to say I decided to wait in a 30 minute line to be served and it was 10000% worth it. Since the very moment I stepped in line a wonderful young lady named Jalissa made sure I was familiar with the menu and made everyone in line felt comfortable. I ordered a quesadilla and added my toppings and you could tell the ingredients are fresh to order because the taste is unbelievable. This was first time here after all the hype. In my opinion, I didn't find it all that great. This my opinion, and only based off my service and my food. The entire experience was MEH! The service was ok. They rush you a bit but I can understand why because they stay busy. The tortilla was heated fresh but the service station needed refilled and that may have been why my food wasn't as good as most. The ladies were calling for refills of items but it wasn't coming out. I ordered a salad bowl with steak, black beans, corn, cucumber, cheese, avocado salsa and another salsa, pico, and sour cream. There were hardly any black beans left so it was watery. They put the lettuce in first with hot meat and beans on top which is normally ok, but by the time they get to the 2nd station, it's been sitting for a while and that may have also played a part in the taste. The bowl tasted soggy and the steak was too salty for me. The entire bowl just tasted salty. The meat being salty may be a preference thing but the bow was still underwhelming. The ambiance is bold and casual. There's not a lot of searing inside or outside so if you have a large group you may want to consider getting it to go. The hype is true. All of it. Line is long. Food is amazing. Employees are kind and patient, as if the line isn't the DMV. The two employees I want to shout out are Jacob and Lesly. They had the patience of a catholic nun, and Jacob did a great job making my burrito, and Lesly was uniquely pleasant with us when she checked us out. There's very little room inside the place, unless you don't mind being sardines next to the packed line while you eat and the AC blowing on you. The portions of meat are what everyone wishes chipotle does. It's almost too much, and that's a great problem. We ate it at home and all the food was amazing. All the salsas were good and had flavor that added to an already delicious burrito and bowl we ordered. Just go there and order anything. There's no bad choice. Went on a Monday night and there seemed to be a dinner rush. The line was out the door. The place is tucked in a random strip mall in Montclair off Holt. It's set up just like a chipotle. The actual ingredients are definitely more fresh and their portions are good for the price. The steak arrachera was so good! The chicken was just ok. I didn't like combination of food. I got a burrito but I wish I had gotten a bowl. I want to come and try a different variation and at a better time. The place looked clean and organized but it's so bright in there that it's like a spotlight for you and your party. I took my food home because of that. My husband initially brought Baqba leftovers home one day, and I was surprised at how good the carne asada was, considering it had been sitting in the container for several hours. I was excited when we got to try it recently after a long day at work. We sat outside despite the cold weather because the place had a huge line, and although there was room to sit, it felt very crowded. This time I had the birria, and it did not disappoint. The reason for the lack of photos is that we absolutely devoured the food. The al pastor pork was also insane, and overall, everything was delicious. The price is hefty, but it's worth the amount of food you get! I would say we arrived around 9 PM, and some of the toppings were looking a little dated. For instance, the corn was quite unappetizing, and I didn't like that they used a yellow onion instead of the traditional white onion. This is the reason for the docked star. We will definitely be back, mainly because Miguel, whom I assume would be in charge, was absolutely delightful and came around multiple times to ask how we were and if we were enjoying our experience. It was a 30 minute wait at 8:30pm on a Sunday, but well worth. The meats have sooooo much flavor, and the tortilla has a nice texture and taste as well. I tried the Al pastor and one of the steak options (I can't remember the name) and it was so good! The lady working the register accidentally forgot to charge one of our bowls but she was very friendly and thanked us when we reminded her. You can also order your meat in a salad, bowl, quesadilla or taco. They also have steak sirloin, pastor, chicken, Birria, carnitas and barbacoa! They are very generous with all the ingredients! And the cilantro sauce is a must. Honestly if you are really hungry you can only eat half that's how big it is! They have seating inside and out and the staff were very helpful. I don't get intimidated by the line. You will not be disappointed! Ambiance was good but the restaurant is so small that best thing is to go. There are only three tables and it is really narrow and kind of uncomfortable to eat at the table. The owner should get larger space for some tables and guesses to be able to eat at the restaurant! They are selling a lot so no reason why not offer a better sitting area to clients. No natural or fresh waters at this place which it will be nice to have selection of those. This is a small place with very limited seating capacity both inside and outside. Although the staff were working really hard to clean up the tables frequently, leftover food residues were visible here and there, which was a bit uncomfortable. I ordered a Chicken Bowl that cost $13.49 (excluding tax). To be honest, the price was comparatively on the higher end in all aspects. The food was average and not worth the wait or the money. The Chicken tasted bland and the sauce was below average. Yes, the portion size was more than good enough, but the portion size doesn't matter if the food is not tasty. The staff were polite and prompt. They were trying their best to serve the customers. Overall, my first experience at Baqba Mexican Grill was worse than expected.
