Yall !!!! I found another favorite Mexican restaurant. I am not one to keep great find to myself. Sharing so others can also enjoy this place. Clean establishment 5/5 Friendly/ attentive staff 5/5 Varieties of food options 5/5 Deliciousness 5/5 Jo / Judith both helped us with our orders, service by these two ladies were excellent. Caldo De res & Menudo in 104° weather ? Why not , I love soup in any type of weather . My go to now for Menudo , sadly it's only offered on weekends and when it sells out that's it. Caldo de res & Menudo were equally well seasoned , they were not skimping on the meat , it was big chunks of beef and lots of tripe . $2 extra to add pata . I had a bite of my friend's trio chicken , shrimps and beef enchiladas , Oh my goodness I never had moist and flavorful chicken enchiladas in all my days eating chicken enchiladas at other restaurants. Tried this local Mexican spot off Foothill after seeing the good ratings. The surrounding area isn't the nicest, but the inside is decent and they've made an effort with the black and red decor, wall sconces, and little roses on the tables. Still very casual and simple--not really an IG-worthy kind of place. Service was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. The chips & salsa were a solid 4/5--thin, crispy chips and a slightly smoky salsa with a nice kick. Beans were thick and creamy (4/5), rice was basic/ traditional (3.5/5). The chile relleno was a 2.5/5 for me. I love this dish, but they use panela cheese, which didn't have much flavor and didn't get that melty, gooey texture I prefer. The chicken enchilada with green sauce was definitely the winner--5/5! That sauce was SO flavorful and easily my favorite part of the meal. The pineapple agua fresca was also refreshing. Overall, 3.5/5. Not my favorite atmosphere or chile relleno, but I loved the enchilada and it's always nice finding a local spot to support. read more

Met with friends to have lunch here!!! I had the Wet Burrito with carnitas , rice , beans and sides diced onions and cilantro !!! Green sauce was mild but carnitas was bland!! Hubby had menudo which we shared .. very delish and fillings were tender especially the pata... tripes were equally tender and serving was so generous we still had leftover to have son taste it!!! Had to flag server several times for an extra spoon , water refill, napkins and sour cream !!! 8/22/26 By chance, Yelp came through for my friends & I, local, unpretentious, freshly made home cooking type of favorites, incredibly delicious (impeccably executed dishes!), very friendly & attentive service, inviting atmosphere, comfortable. I'm not one to gate keep so here goes. Judith was the first server who took our drink & food orders, then followed by Jo, the young lady who also makes the corn tortillas by hand. Both did a phenomenal job at ensuring our experience was nothing less than stellar. This might just be that hidden gem we've been looking for in Mexican food. I haven't had caldo de res in long while so I ordered that, my friends: menudo & enchiladas trio. We were in for a tastebud journey and treat. It did seem long until we received our food and we all shared to try-- we were simply blown away as each took a sip & a bit. It's that signature "oh wow!" response, your eyes widen with delight and smile to yourself saying, "wow what a great choice I made!" We all looked at each other agreeing what a winner! Our soups come with a choice of flour or corn tortillas, we opted for flour. These tasted house made but Jo said their corn tortillas are actually the ones made in house, because she makes them! We asked if we could try one for comparison and WowZaH!!! She happily obliged and we became instant fans. Parking is free and shared among businesses at this small plaza. It's funny we would order soups when it's 104°F outside, thankfully their AC was in good working order, we're comfortable.The restaurant is clean & well maintained. As I write this review, brought Hubby with me and we're on our way back. What's funnier is, one of my girlfriends told her husband and they had returned this morning after church to dine. 8/29/26 Sazon It Rialto CA... Was here yesterday with my daughter and a great group of my closest friends for my friend V's birthday and my birthday celebration combined! We had such a great time and wonderful dishes! They have great chips & salsa! My daughter and I shared a horchata to drink. We shared the Carne Asada combination plate with beans, rice, and fresh corn tortillas! We also shared the Enchilada Trio and I had salad as a side. Everyone here was so delicious! Absolutely luv! Service is welcoming and hospitable. Food is delicious! The fresh handmade tortillas are so light and perfectly toasted. The trio enchiladas are very flavorful. Each sauce is unique that compliments the protein. A great way to try all three and see which one you prefer. I still can't decide I luv them all. Comes with a side of rice and beans. I put their house salsa on everything for some extra kick! After a few visits we've tried the sope, Chile relleno, caldo de res, chicken burrito. Great spot for Birthday celebrations! They'll hold the cake for you till you're ready and play the birthday song throughout the whole restaurant on their sound system. The staff take good care of your group especially Jo and Judith. Owner is very welcoming and friendly too along with all the staff and servers here. They add to the experience and make it enjoyable. Inside seating areas can accommodate large groups. Booth seating along walls with a step up. Can split checks which is another reason to bring the whole bunch. Visiting with a special group of friends we enjoyed our time celebrating. The food is good. The server was kind. The place is clean. The portions are small. $17 for a bowl of menudo/pazole is fine when the bowl is not full of juice and hardly any hominy. The breaded shrimp taco has 3 pieces of shrimp with an abundance of lettuce. Good but also $7. Salsa was good. I'd just say if you're going to charge those prices, give a decent portion. We love the food here! Everything we've had, whether seafood or not was so well made we've been back multiple times. My husband is a hard core raw seafood eater, they also have amazing tasting shrimp platters such as the butter garlic and camarones shrimp (very spicy but full of flavor, if you don't eat spice I'd ask for it mild if possible). We normally order the molcajete which is enough for 3-4 ppl and we always do our best to Dave room for their homemade fried ice cream, it is so so good! The food was delicious, the service efficient and ambiance was relaxed. We had the chorizo and eggs, it comes with rice and beans. Everything on it's own had lots of flavor, just wish the beans AND the chorizo didn't BOTH have spice. Which if you like spicy food or could be great, but not for others that don't eat spicy foods. Was not impressed at all. Honestly, came here because the reviews appeared to be good but was incredibly disappointed with the food, quality, and portion size too. Service was also not the best, either. Especially for the prices they have, you'd expect better like at other Mexican restaurants. I do not recommended, and would personally never return! It was $16 for my enchiladas plate and as you can see in the picture- the enchiladas are tiny and they gave you a tiny little scoop of rice. Absolutely LOVE this restaurant!! Every dish we've had is great! The fajitas are delicious, especially with the homemade tortillas! Chips and salsa are always fresh! I usually stick to the same thing in most restaurants, but I enjoy trying something different every time I go here, and have not been disappointed! By chance stopped here, and was a little skeptical because it said mexican grill and thought it wouldn't be authentic, but i was so wrong. Very authentic, tried the tacos dorados de picadillo they were delicious, my hubby got the costillitas in chili rancheros with rice and beans omgggg it was to die for. The spice was just right, and so flavorful. The rice and beans were so good. The plate was left clean. Definitely a place to Come eat. Well Recommend and the service was also great. Found this beautiful place this morning. Shared a molcajete which was delicious! Their refries beans and rice so authentic! Did I mention the hand made tortillas!!
