We love the food here! Everything we've had, whether seafood or not was so well made we've been back multiple times. My husband is a hard core raw seafood eater, they also have amazing tasting shrimp platters such as the butter garlic and camarones shrimp (very spicy but full of flavor, if you don't eat spice I'd ask for it mild if possible). We normally order the molcajete which is enough for 3-4 ppl and we always do our best to Dave room for their homemade fried ice cream, it is so so good! The food is good. The server was kind. The place is clean. The portions are small. $17 for a bowl of menudo/pazole is fine when the bowl is not full of juice and hardly any hominy. The breaded shrimp taco has 3 pieces of shrimp with an abundance of lettuce. Good but also $7. Salsa was good. I'd just say if you're going to charge those prices, give a decent portion. Was not impressed at all. Honestly, came here because the reviews appeared to be good but was incredibly disappointed with the food, quality, and portion size too. Service was also not the best, either. Especially for the prices they have, you'd expect better like at other Mexican restaurants. I do not recommended, and would personally never return! It was $16 for my enchiladas plate and as you can see in the picture- the enchiladas are tiny and they gave you a tiny little scoop of rice. The food was delicious, the service efficient and ambiance was relaxed. We had the chorizo and eggs, it comes with rice and beans. Everything on it's own had lots of flavor, just wish the beans AND the chorizo didn't BOTH have spice. Which if you like spicy food or could be great, but not for others that don't eat spicy foods. By chance stopped here, and was a little skeptical because it said mexican grill and thought it wouldn't be authentic, but i was so wrong. Very authentic, tried the tacos dorados de picadillo they were delicious, my hubby got the costillitas in chili rancheros with rice and beans omgggg it was to die for. The spice was just right, and so flavorful. The rice and beans were so good. The plate was left clean. Definitely a place to Come eat. Well Recommend and the service was also great. Found this beautiful place this morning. Shared a molcajete which was delicious! Their refries beans and rice so authentic! Did I mention the hand made tortillas!! I hesitated to try this place because not many reviews and now I regret not trying sooner. Shared a molcajete and it was the best one around. I love that the bacon wrapped shrimp were crispy, the chicken and asada were lean and very tasty and homemade tortillas put it over the top. The beans and rice were on point also . Staff was polite. Food was 3 or 4 star. Just so so so so simple. Taquitos were just straight up dry shicken in corn tortilla shell. I also opted to get some of the salsa on the aide for my taquitos, soni ordered the taco dorado salsa that i saw came with wifes picadillo/papa taco dorado. After i poured that on my taquitos it helped. It does come with lettuce, guac, diced tomatoes and sour creme/ cotija. I just wish the taquito plate had a cheese or potatoe or onion or somthing else inside beside just the twice cooked chicken jerky. Chips and salsa was good just add salt. I carefully surveyed the menu before ordering and i always compared these coices with recent yelp photos to confirm i was ordering the best thing they had so that they have a good chance to impress with. It was just lack luster. Maybe someone can drop off a can of knorr chicken bouillon for them in the back. The simple food they did bring out was ok. But definately a basic run of the mill 3 out of 5 star. Get creative... Taste your food and start makimg some dishes that stand out. we were happy to see it wasnt completely packed on mothers day, but also a i am not sure they have many "to die for" dishes on the menu. I may give a another shot one day but not sure. The AC was definately not on at all. Was very hot and humid while eating. Found this little gem by accident and boy are we glad we did. We ordered the Queso Fundido and it comes with handmade corn tortillas. OMG. My boyfriend had the Menudo and he said it was delicious. Don't let the humble exterior fool you! This place is great, from the service to the authentic Mexican cooking. One of my favorite breakfast items are the Red Chilaquiles with their potatoes. They come with eggs any way you like your eggs, but the potatoes are a nice substitute. It's always a pleasure to eat here, and the bonus is getting to support a small family owned business. I ordered to go online and everything was ready when I arrived. The person that helped me was very nice and polite. I asked if everything was in the bag like lemon, saltine crackers and hot sauce.
