Asada Taco with hard re fried meat..
Melissa A.

Got asada Tacos and the meat was not fresh at all . They rely on the salsa instead of seasoning the meat . You can also tell they re fry the meat after it's been sitting there. They put a lot of meat but refried hard overcooked terrible meat . There was no one here when we came and now I see why.

We stopped by on Monday, September 28th. We didn't know where to get something to eat. I remember seeing a review. So we went to try it. We walked in and it was empty. Very clean. I ordered my granddaughter a hot dog & French fries . I ordered two hard shell tacos. One chicken & one shredded beef. My daughter had a California burrito. Ordered a horchata & a pineapple drink. Which were delicious, too. They have a chips & salsa bar & a salsa bar with lemon , cucumbers and I think 4 different kinds of salsas. I said no pico de gallo on my tacos. But it was put on them. At first it looked like my tacos were over fried. But as soon as I took off the pico de gallo. I took a bite of the shredded beef taco. It was amazing. Perfectly cooked shredded beef and great seasoning. As we were eating more customers started coming in. I do highly recommended it. I will go back.

I've come here a couple times. The week it opened and the following. The have been so busy the food must be good! I've gotten the hot dog, the trip bowl, a chili relleno burrito. They have all been great. It had such good flavor. The fresh aguas are a hit. They all have great flavors and are very fresh. Being that this place is new it has been hard to keep all tables cleaned and the salsa bar and chips filled. They've done the best they can. The establishment is very open with windows on 3 sides. You can see the street. 2 doors to enter and exit which makes it nice to not get so cramped.

Chicken torta with lettuce, cheese, avocado

First time here got a chicken torta. It holds up to the hype very flavorful. You won't be disappointed will be coming back for the rest of the menu. A little pricey for the size. Service was fast, and place was clean and calm.

The food was beyond delicious, great service, and it had a great vibe. They have so many things that looked good! We will definitely come back!

First time coming here and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The food is fire here we ended up getting the hot Cheetos fully loaded french fries with Asada. We got a burrito with a chili relleno with Asada. And we got one of the surf and turf tacos. All the food was amazing. The fries are golden brown crispy, and they have aguas I really recommend you come and check them out

Just order shredded chicken and shredded beef tacos horrible. The first time the food was good, but not this time and it was $45.00 bucks with some other items.

First time here and I was not disappointed. I had seen their TT and wanted to try out for lunch. Location is cadycorner to the Sbpd so I felt safe. It was full inside. No drive thru so make sure you have time. I ordered tacos. Tried the asada, carnitas and surf & turf. Loved them all. The cashier gave me bags for the salsas and chips. Salsas were delicious. Food came out in decent time but again, give yourself time because there is no drive thru.

This is three keto tacos. They are so delicious and are filled with so much meat.
Janice M.

The service is good. Food is amazing. You get big portions. They also have fresh chips with a salsa bar that is included with every order. They offer inexpensive daily specials. Definitely a must try. This location has been different types of restaurants in the past but this time it's a keeper. The restaurant is keep very clean. I work for a up the street from tjis place and everyone in our office has had a great experience here.

Although their prices are high, $16 for a torta, it's usually worth it, because their portions are quite generous. Earlier today, I ordered a torta to go, and I ended up extremely disappointed when I got home. It had literally half the meat, half the beans, and half the cheese that it normally does. This was the first time I'd been disappointed with their food, but I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction. I was passed to the manager who handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. I explained the issue to him, and he insisted that my torta today had the same amount of meat, beans, and cheese as always. I disagreed with him, and he responded angrily, "Everybody makes mistakes!" He raised his voice and repeated it a couple of times. It was completely bizarre that he chose to speak to me as if I was the one who'd done something wrong. It's very childish to do a subpar job and then get upset and frustrated when you're called on it. An adult apologizes and pledges to not blow it again. Anyhow, I don't tolerate disrespectful people so I'm done. I won't spend another penny there.

I love that they don't service you a common basket of chips with salsa, no they bring you whole fried tostada tortillas and crackers of course you get salsa too. I had the small "chico" shrimp cocktail and I got to add my ketchup to my taste. They gave you a choice of sauces on the table. My shrimp cocktail was by no means Chico, it was generously packed with shrimp and the veggies that are typical to a Mexican cocktail. I saw some other items I can't wait to try. The prices are compassionately priced but the serving are generous considering I have paid more and received less in other places. The servers are very attentive and sweet. La Cruda reminds me of the little places on the beaches in Puerto Rico. Instead they are on the shore of the 91fwy in Riverside. Check them out for a simple tasty seafood cocktail. There was so much meat packed into each taco that two were more than enough for a filling lunch. For under $10, especially since they also included chips and salsa, I thought it was a really good value. The steak was tender and juicy, but I actually liked the lengua even more. It had a really rich beef flavor and wasn't dry at all. My only complaint was that the lengua still had some of the outer skin attached. The texture honestly gave me a little bit of goosebumps while eating it . I really wish they had removed it completely. Other than that, the lengua itself was delicious. Great flavor, generous portions, and a very satisfying lunch for the price.

We've eaten a lot of Burria around California and Fuegos is ON POINT! Tender, juicy, with flavor richer than any we've tried! The consome they give you for dipping on the side is more than plenty, so rich and delicious. Best way to enjoy is to get the 2 taco birria with rice (yum) and beans with a drink all for one price. A Must Visit Mexican Restaurant in Palm Springs!…read more If you're visiting Palm Springs and looking for great Mexican food, creative cocktails, and a beautiful atmosphere, Tac/Quila is definitely worth a visit! We came in as a group of three and ordered a little bit of everything, from seafood and tacos to appetizers and cocktails. I love when a restaurant offers more than the typical Mexican food menu, and Tac/Quila does a great job of putting its own spin on familiar dishes while still incorporating traditional Mexican flavors. Drinks Jalisco Mule - $17 A Mexican twist on the classic Moscow Mule. Made with Serrano infused tequila, watermelon juice, lime, simple syrup, ginger beer, and mint. It brings together refreshing watermelon and citrus with a little kick from the serrano pepper. The ginger beer adds that familiar mule finish. A fun, refreshing cocktail that feels especially fitting for Palm Springs. Tepache Colado - $17 A tropical inspired cocktail made with tequila, lime, agave, coconut liqueur, and coconut purée. This one sounds like a vacation in a glass! The coconut gives it a creamy tropical character, while the lime balances the sweetness. A great option if you enjoy cocktails with a more tropical flavor profile. Food Shrimp Tacos - $23 Grilled shrimp tacos featuring a chipotle marinade, cabbage, pico de gallo, chipotle mayo, and avocado, served in house made corn tortillas. The shrimp and chipotle combination gives these tacos a savory, slightly smoky flavor, while the cabbage and avocado provide a nice contrast in texture. A great choice if seafood is your thing. Seared Ahi Tuna Taco - $21 One of the more interesting items we ordered. This gourmet taco features seared ahi tuna with mango salsa, cabbage, radish, cilantro, and avocado. It's accompanied by sweet chile sauce and pickled ginger, all served in a house made flour tortilla. I like the combination of fresh seafood with sweet, tangy, and slightly savory flavors. It's a nice departure from your traditional carne asada or chicken taco. Shrimp Ceviche - $24 A refreshing seafood appetizer made with shrimp, cilantro, tomato, cucumber, serrano pepper, avocado, and lime, served with corn shells. Ceviche is all about balancing fresh seafood with citrus and bright ingredients, and this combination brings plenty of freshness and texture. It's a particularly nice dish to enjoy in the Palm Springs weather. Chicken Nachos - $23 A classic appetizer with a little bit of everything! The nachos come with refried beans, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, ranchero sauce, pico de gallo, avocado, jalapeños, and Mexican crema. The combination of melted cheese, seasoned chicken, creamy toppings, and crunchy tortilla chips makes this a great sharing dish. Definitely something to consider ordering for the table. Beer Tempura Avocado Bites - $16 One of the more unique appetizers on the menu. These are avocado bites coated in beer tempura and served with pickled tequila onions and spicy aioli. I love seeing avocado incorporated into something other than guacamole. The tempura preparation gives it a crispy exterior while keeping the avocado creamy inside, with the pickled onions and spicy aioli adding a little acidity and kick. Atmosphere The atmosphere is one of the things that makes Tac/Quila stand out. The restaurant has a beautiful hacienda inspired aesthetic with a stylish, warm, and inviting feel. It manages to balance an upscale dining experience with a lively Mexican restaurant atmosphere. There is a lot of personality in the space, and it feels like somewhere you can comfortably enjoy a casual dinner, celebrate a special occasion, or spend an evening out with friends. The overall setting fits Palm Springs perfectly. Service Good food is important, but service can really make or break a dining experience. The overall experience was enjoyable, and the hospitality complemented the restaurant's atmosphere. I appreciate when a restaurant makes the dining experience feel welcoming rather than simply getting guests in and out. Final Verdict: 5/5 Stars Tac/Quila absolutely deserves five stars from me. Between the creative cocktail selection, variety of food, seafood options, and beautiful atmosphere, it makes for a great dining experience in Palm Springs. What I particularly appreciate is the variety on the menu. You can enjoy traditional Mexican inspired dishes while also finding more creative options like seared ahi tuna tacos and beer battered avocado bites. There's something for different tastes, which makes it a great place to visit with a group. If you're exploring downtown Palm Springs, I'd definitely recommend adding Tac/Quila to your restaurant list. Whether you're stopping in for cocktails, sharing appetizers, or sitting down for a full dinner, it's a place I'd happily return to!

The chips & salsa were a solid 4/5--thin, crispy chips and a slightly smoky salsa with a nice kick. Beans were thick and creamy (4/5), rice was basic/ traditional (3.5/5). The chile relleno was a 2.5/5 for me. I love this dish, but they use panela cheese, which didn't have much flavor and didn't get that melty, gooey texture I prefer.
