I've been here twice, and both time service has been terrible. Food is pretty good. Plenty of servers, but uncoordinated. I made two requests: one, split the bill, a two, sing happy birthday. Love this place!! Be warned, it gets packed so either get here early, or be willing to wait. Service is fantastic and if you're lucky and get Malena you'll feel like a VIP. Very clean establishment, recently remodeled. Televisions throughout and music playing but not too loud. ALL their food is excellent. Definitely try the menudo and chilaquiles. Have Americanized options too for picky eaters. My son loves the jamon con huevo. Chips and salsa are unlimited and delicious. This is a must try. read more

I stumbled across this place on a Tuesday and decided to give it a try... The food was delicious and the service was attentive. I had the carne asada with nopales plate and the meat was seasoned perfectly and very tender. The plate also comes with a chile toreado which was my favorite, it added the perfect amount of spice! The rice and beans were also very tasty. To drink I had an horchata which was mediocre. It tasted store bought and definitely underwhelming especially considering it's a staple to good Mexican food. Overall the ambiance is welcoming. I will definitely be coming back but steering clear of the horchata. read more

Update: Came back about two months ago and didn't even feel like the same place. They've expanded a lot--full bar now, way more tables, and the whole atmosphere is completely different. In a good way. What surprised me most is that the food is still great. Usually when a spot gets bigger, something suffers. That didn't happen here. Overall, it's just a much better experience than it used to be. If you haven't been back in a while, it's worth another visit. read more

Wife has wanted to eat here since they remodeled. As it was her birthday, I thought that was a great time to try it. We were seated in good order, and menus provided quickly. Our water came out fast, but to me, the service provided fell off a cliff at this point (was it because we ordered water only?). We ordered, and the food came out hot and tasty. I had the street tacos and my wife had the hard shell tacos. I thought the flavor was on point and my wife said hers was as good. Why the loss of two Stars? 1) I told the server it was my wife's birthday, never mentioned again. I didn't care about free cake or ice cream, I wanted her to be acknowledged. It was her special day and we were eating here to celebrate. 2) the service was lacking greatly. Never felt that we mattered, just a table to be served and to get us out quickly. Our water was never refilled, though it was at 1/4 full. To be fair, the server came around right after the food was delivered, but we needed it after we ate some. Server came around when we were ready to leave, asking " is there anything else", but by that time, I wanted to just leave (see#1). Lastly, as one can see in the photo, we had about15 chips , and a little salsa. That's it. My wife and I enjoyed the food, but the server made it not so. This is my opinion and my experience. I hate giving one stars but the I've gotta this time. I found them on Instagram. I saw lots of really good reels showing delicious brunch offerings. I was excited to visit so I took the whole fam. The dining room was packed. We were seated quicker than expected, so that was nice. When we sat, our waiter was slow and neglected our table quite a bit. I was grossed out immediately after being seated. Everything felt sticky; table, seats, and menus. Bathrooms were atrocious as well. Not well stocked, or well kept. The food itself was quite a disappointment. Pictures and videos make it look good, but nothing really stood out in terms of flavor or uniqueness. Then we got the check. It was shockingly high. The prices listed on the receipt did not match the menu either, so they up charged us. I treated the staff with kindness and respect throughout our time here, even though they neglected us, so I wasn't sure why they up charged us. Can I just say we went there for the first time . Delicious!!!! There was a lot of people but we got served right away. We got the shrimp and steak plate. Everything on our plate was delicious and the homemade tortillas yummy. Will definitely be going there a lot more often. read more

The Food is delicious and the tortillas are home made. But in June we went in the afternoon as a group of 15 for a Birthday. Service was great.was She we decided that go back yesterday for another birthday. The food was still delicious BUT the SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. First of all they didn't have our reservation then they wouldn't seat us till everyone was in present (ok).While waiting the Waitress were arguing saying they did not want to wait on a large party of 10! So neither of the two waitresses waited and our table! But they brought someone from the back to wait on us. She did not check on us for refills one of us had to go find her. The other waitress ignored us. Last time they brought an ice cream to give ti the Birthday Girl but this time they said they don't do that. So we bought her our Birthday Girl desert and sang to her ourselves. I was so surprised that they were so Rude. When my Husband and I have gone the waitress are so nice and helpful. But I did not recognize these waitresses except one . So needless to say our group will not be going back! read more

Great place for breakfast burritos! We got the chorizo breakfast burrito, and a bacon/potato/bean breakfast burrito. The tortillas are handmade and really make the burrito. Service is quick and friendly. Have never dined inside so can't speak to what that is like. Looking forward to trying not here! read more

My Wife and her friend went here for a Friday night birthday dinner. They arrived at 445 PM. Ordered drinks (high end alcohol), ate dinner AND dessert ($180+ bill) and everything was good. At around 615 one of the employees stated "they had a bunch of tables" and made them wrap up their conversation and leave. This blows my mind. This table of two girls just ordered $180 worth of food and drink, tipped 20% and expected to be able to continue their conversation for a little while after eating their dessert. Instead they were passive aggressively pushed out of their seat to make room for other customers. I can understand this MAYBE if they were sitting around for hours after their meal, but 10 min after their dessert? My and my boo came to this place for breakfast. Let me tell you place is beautifully remodeled. Would not expect the vibe by looking at the outside. As soon as we walked in Myra gave us the best service. The food was great and the music was on point. Cute little spot right off yucaipa blvd, we came in about an hour before closing and the place was packed full! We were kindly greeted and seated immediately, and our waitress was so friendly! Our drinks and food came out super fast and everything was so delicious. The chips and salsa were also really good! I'm always looking for good Mexican food, and I'm glad to have found another to add to the list. Really cute strip mall locals mexican place. Plenty of parking spots in the lot for everyone and accessible. Inside really is not big at all! The servers are the bartenders, hostess, and servers - they do it all! The two of them were super friendly and running all over the place with great service. I would say the specials are worth it here or regular plates can run pretty expensive. The chile verde burrito special was only 13 dollars and it was HUGE! Husband said it was really good. I had a three item combo to try and sample a little of everything. The chili relleno was fresh and sooo good, enjoyed the cheese enchilada as well. Drink prices are much better on happy hour, if you order a full size cadillac margarita it is 20 dollars. So I say this place is worth it if you go during certain days or times of the week. This was my second time visiting this restaurant, I thought I would give it a second try because the food was good. Unfortunately the service was worse this time. We walked in and weren't greeted right away, it took 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. When we were greeted we were told they would be right with us and we waited an additional 5 minutes. No sense of urgency or customer service. Upon being seated we waited 10 minutes for a server to come over and ask for our drink order. Another 10 to 15 to take our order. The waitress did apologize and say that there were understaffed and had to bus tables, and bar tend. I blame leadership for the terrible customer service. Went here for the first time on 2/7/2026, after many recommendations from friends who have been before. The staff was extremely friendly. I shared an Al Gusto burrito with my wife and it was very good. Chile relleno was also very good. Ambiance is like eating in a family home. Kinda tight, but the seats are nice and comfortable. We arrived at 2 pm and it was busy. Waited for only ten minutes for a table for six. I think we were at the end of the late breakfast/lunch crowd because when we left at 3pm there were plenty of tables open. We will be back.
