I've had issues with this restaurant several times in the past, but after my most recent experience, I think I'm done ordering from here. I placed a DoorDash order totaling over $50 to feed my family of four. Because they typically provide very little salsa (which honestly is what makes the food), I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask about adding extra. The woman I spoke with told me they would include 10 green salsas and that I could pay for the extras. She wasn't able to process payment over the phone, so I went back into the app and added an additional side of guacamole per person to increase the order. When the order arrived, we only received 6 green salsas and nothing extra. When I called the restaurant, the same woman said she didn't see anything on her end showing the additions, so she didn't include them -- even though she had already told me she would. For a $55 order, not including the extra salsa that was discussed is frustrating, especially when this has been an ongoing issue with missing items in previous orders. On top of that, we ordered four separate dinners and everything was combined into just two containers. The lack of attention to the order and the dismissive response when I called back were disappointing. Very cool local Mexican restaurant in uptown Yucaipa . Food was flavorful and a good variety of dishes. Their customer service was very attentive. Orders aren't always quick but nothing placing a phone call prior to arrival can't fix . Limited seating indoors but they offer outdoor seating if needed. I really liked their ceviche plate it was really fresh and good flavor. Their aguas Frescas are a bit on the sweeter side , yet really flavorful and refreshing . Parking is primarily located in the back , very spacious and convenient. Stumbled on this spot when I was in town and it was pretty good overall! We got the birria burrito which came with consome and lime on the side. Burrito was good but wished it had more birria, red onion and cilantro inside. The consome could also use some onion and cilantro on top. Their red salsa had some heat to it and it made the burrito better. The auguachile was spicy too but it was so good and refreshing! The ceviche is milder if you can't handle spice and still delish. Service was friendly and quick. Small restaurant with no more than 5or 6 tables. They have bench seating outdoors though!
