A couple of weeks ago I had a family function and we ordered two big trays of seafood which are about $300. Plus I expect it when I go pick them up that it was just gonna be handed to me. No had to wait an additional 30 minutes for them to get it ready. Also, they only gave me one little bag of chips for those big trays and one little container of salsa and then I asked was that all I get sometimes we don't even give anything with that after I spent $360 almost that's ridiculous. They forget that the customers word them up. I'll never go there again and I'll tell my friends not to go there cause that's terrible very terrible. read more

Went in today for the first time, the interior's small but comfortable and clean. Service was super friendly and quick. Burrito was a good size and quality for the price. Love that the carne asada isn't diced up and dry like most places in the area and that it actually has that fresh off the grill smokey flavor to it. The waitress was kind and very attentive. The cook came out to great us and make sure we enjoyed our food very polite he even brought out different salsas to try out, the taste was awesome spicy with good flavor. We felt welcomed and very much at home. The food was awesome with great flavors and taste very authentic. I would totally come back here for breakfast lunch and dinner. We used to eat at this restaurant quite often but our son finished university and we were no longer going to Redlands. We were just talking about how much we missed La Conchas food and we were passing through Redlands and had to stop in. My husband had the enchiladas suizas and I had the chicken mole. Both dinners were delicious! My mole sauce was dark and the chicken was so tender! I can't wait until we have the opportunity to stop in again! read more

I would first like to say that the staff is really nice. I called to order some shrimp ceviche Saturday. The shrimp ceviche had very little shrimp, but the veggies were very fresh. For the price of $14.99 for maybe 8 oz of ceviche it is not worth it. Also, there wasn't a lot of flavor in the ceviche. It was basically shrimp and veggies without any seasoning or lime. There was maybe 2-3 pieces of shrimp cut up in the ceviche. Also, we picked up two orders so we paid $30 and it was not worth it. I gave three stars for the staff. They were so nice! read more

Osvaldo and Mónica, the servers, take such great care of us when we come. Whenever I have family or friends in town, I make sure we come here as one of our stops. Great hidden gem in Redlands. Been coming here for years. Recently sold to new owners and boy do I feel cheated. The food use to be so good. Especially the enchiladas now they are using some cheap cheese that doesn't melt. Please please please go back to the original recipes and products. I am trying to like this place so much but unfortunately I have been let down so much lately. The service is very slow. Please considere that some patrons only half 30-1 hour lunches. I wish the best for this place that was a Redlands staple. But I will not be returning. read more

Came here by recommendation of my husband ms grandfather. What a hidden gem! Only one waitress handling the restaurant, but let me tell you... she does with finesse! Very friendly! I'm not a local just was passing by and came up on this small jem in Redlands. The service was amazing and super fast. All of the staff were friendly and the food was delightfully well prepared as we had requested. My hubby is super picky when it comes to fried fish but their peacado frito exceeded his expectations. 4/22/23 Everything was excellent! We came in around 5:30pm with a party of 5 and was able to be seated immediately in the large booth. The place is clean and spacious enough to accommodate families. The chips and salsa were so fresh! All our entrees were delicious and full of flavor. The portions are huge where you can take home leftovers. I really enjoyed my margarita also. Most importantly the customer service was friendly and efficient. The older gentleman who came by with our food is the owner and he was very nice. If I ever visit the area again I will definitely return here to get my Mexican food fix. Be sure to check this place out and come with a big appetite!! read more

After entering the glass doors, one is greeted with shelves filled with treats and pastries. My brother wanted to try the quiche, but they were sold out. He went with the almond croissant which is how he judges all French bakeries. The rest of us ordered the croque monsieur (Parisian ham, becamel sauce, melted gruyere swiss cheese on white bread), St. Tropez (prosciutto, brie cheese, mixed greens, onions, fig jam, olive oil, herbs de Provence, La Monaco (prosciutto, Swiss cheese, mixed greens, tomato, onion, herbs de Provence, and olive oil), French onion soup, tiramisu, mango pastry, and pear tart. My brother was greatly impressed with the almond croissant, honing in on the laminated dough and the frangipane--a rich, nutty, and smooth almond cream. This prompted him to talk with the owner and baker, and he shared that in baking, "you have to be a little bit crazy. I use French butter and extra ingredients!" All the pastries were expertly made and were indulgent. Both the hot and cold sandwiches highlighted the meats and cheeses striking a balance with the arugula greens. Even the kids enjoyed the greens. The French onion soup was the best we have ever tasted; a delightful bowl of rich onion beef broth, toasted baguette with melted gruyere cheese. Maison La Jolie is the mastermind of a husband-wife duo. They are a much welcome addition to Redlands.

He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin. I tell him absolutely not and that when I bake salmon I usually take the skin off. He then tells me that I HAVE to try a salmon skin handroll so I figured I should just go with it. I was starving after shopping, so me and my mom decided to stop at La Concha for the first time. It's a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but wow the food was delicious! The handmade tortillas were so good, and my fried mojarra was perfectly cooked. My mom got a combination plate and we couldn't stop laughing because her chile relleno was sooo tiny I legit thought it was a jalapeño LOL! (wish I took a pic). The only downside was the wait , the food did take a while to come out, which is why I knocked off one star. But overall, the staff were friendly and the food really hit the spot.
