The food here is 100% delicious and the hot sauce is so yummy. For a busy place the service is quick and top notch. It's also fun to go there because the employees are kind and informative and you usually see the same people and I love that. It definitely has homemade food vibes. I think that's the key. It's been a while since I've ate Rosa Maria's and I was honestly disappointed. I don't know if other places are just better or if their quality has gone down. My shredded beef tacos had about a tablespoon of meat in each of them and the burrito was small like a Taco Bell burrito. The bean and cheese burrito and the tacos both lacked flavor. My tacos were all lettuce. The service was ok. They weren't that friendly but they move quickly. The ambiance is ok. There's not very many places to sit to eat there so we always get our food to go. read more

I have been back here in ages and today I remembered why. Portions are very small and I'm talking child portions for adult prices. I had a shredded beef. 3/10 lacks HEAT because it was cold and inedible. Bean and cheese burrito. 3/10. Tasteless, cold tortilla, hardly warm beans and cheese that wasn't even melted. Whenever I go to Highland or Redlands, I always stop at Rosa Maria's. My favorite is a pork quesadilla with red sauce. Filled with meat, plenty for two meals unless you're really hungry. read more

Do not order the beef. and the taquitos are like frozen ones Tacos a bit greasy for my taste HOWEVER the chili Verde and the chicken is stewed to perfection That is what I have ordered for years I have narrowed it down to a Chili Verde burrito light beans for the past few years Also, lots of flavor in their hot sauce cups Good price for burrito also under 10 dollars which is amazing these days We have actually reached the point of the 15 dollar burrito at hole in the wall restaurants ! Well the food and service at Rosa Maria's never disappoints. They have a few locations and this one is my least favorite only because of how small it is. Only has 4 tables so if they are busy it can be hard to sit and eat. What makes it worse is just other customers who will sit and hang out talking long after finishing their food without considering other customers or the limited space. This is 100% on the customers and not on the business. But inconsiderate patrons won't stop me from getting my meat rice cheese (MRC) with extra cheese. read more

To bad they changed their flour tortilla. It's an ordinary burrito now. I don't waste my money on places that skimps out now and lost it flavor. They established and expanded their business but lost the flavor that they once had. Rose's in Yucaipa knows what they're doing if you want that flavor this place once had.. read more

The king of garbage burritos is still Rosa Maria's here in the inland empire. Ask for a double wrap extra cheese for an incredible eating experience. Ask for a knife and fork to make sure to eat all the leftover goodness on that wrapper. read more

Rosamaria's has been the top place for Burritos for years, you literally couldn't go a week without eating at Rosamaria's but the Redlands location is so bad ...they used to be ok but the tortillas have always been too hard but since the pandemic, the food even went downhill... I had to throw my chili relleno burrito in the trash and that's pretty bad if you can't even eat it. they just never recovered. I get the food prices have gone up but if you're going to charge more than at least make the burritos the same size as they have always been. Also, why won't they put the tables back outside it's like ppl don't really even wanna go inside anymore.... I hope they get back to where they used to be read more

Nothing compares to RosaMaria's San Bernardino but had to get used to This one in Redlands due to moving away. It's the one place that I can go to when I'm down and I know it will be consistent and delicious, obviously not today I order my usual a chile Relleno burrito and add rice. Well today I got a damn rice burrito. No juice no meat except for a tiny strand here and there and full I mean packed with rice. I called to let them know that hey You need to talk to the cooks cause this was bad. I thought it had to be a new person. The guy on the other end of the line just decided to not respond to me at all. I took a deep breath hung up and tossed it in the trash.I didn't have the funds to rebuy. Now I get to sulk and have a horrible day over being let down and wasting 16.00 all because of a sudden drop in quality at Rosa Maria's Redlands. Sad cause yet another iconic place will exist no longer. Customer service should have been his priority today but it was not. And if the basics of those burritos coming juicy flavorful and full of meat have been eliminated then I say go ahead and bite the dust. read more

I had to take a moment to post a review, just because I feel like they deserve a better rating! My hubby wanted to try this place and I was reluctant due to the rating and some other old posts. I am so glad we decided to stay and try the food!!! The enchilada mole sauce is delicious! They used juicy chunks of chicken breast. The beans and rice were tasty! The chicken taco was packed with chicken and a great amount of cheese! Do you see the FRESH thick cut of tomatoes!!! So Good! Oh and the Horchata was really Good! This family-owned establishment is an institution in Redlands, as well as their other locations in San Bernardino and Highland. It was the latter location that got me initiated many years ago, but periodic visits to Redlands had shown unprecedented consistency in quality and service. The most recent visit since the pandemic period revealed that indoor dining, albeit a small space to begin with, is no longer an option. That's fine, the chairs provided are spaced and available for those waiting for their orders. I grabbed a chair and didn't wait for long before my number was called. Actually, I was impressed with how fast they got the bean, rice, and cheese burrito put together. I can't recall past orders here, but perhaps the burritos are a little smaller now? Either way, it's delicious and requires exactly three (3) red salsa cups for maximum enjoyment. I ate in the car outside and noticed other customers doing the same, or else standing by their trucks using the tailgate for a table. The home of the Garbage Burrito is a claim to fame here, but I like the rice and beans and have enjoyed tacos in the past. Periodic visits will be a permanent status, but great food is all but guaranteed. read more

Just got done at my dentist across the street and I've been to the other 2 in Berdoo. I ordered a chile rellano burrito and a beans cheese and rice. They both had flaws the beans rice and cheese had a real hard flour tortilla when I re heated, even though placed in a ziplock for later. When I heated it up the tortilla was hard and kind of bland, the rellano burrito was all EGG very dry burrito dry no sauce like el burrito puts green sauce in theirs? I haven't been here in approximately 3 years ago. The BRC burrito was very small too? The employees were nice but this place is real expensive and not a very appealing DINING AREA WAS VERY SMALL and next to people's rear ends ordering. I will not go back again to any of the FIVE Places. Don't go here go around the corner is El Burrito off Colton ave and near Tennessee ave. This is the last EB the others were sold in Berdoo and one in Colton. To me this food was very unacceptable. read more

I usually love this place -- it's often the highlight of my day -- which is why this visit was so disappointing. I work in the medical field and am used to people being attentive and professional, so the dismissive attitude I got here was shocking. My order was taken incorrectly, and my burrito came back sloppy and incomplete, with no offer to remake it properly. I left feeling completely unvalued and disrespected. Straight GAS. Rosa Maria's has always been there for the fam and I. It's one of the few places you can get a bomb ass burrito, taco, etc for a good deal! It's like 5$ for a bean and cheese burrito which is my go to! The man who is always working the front is super friendly as well. Overall, one of the most goated food places in Redlands and I've lived here my whole life. read more

Great food and an institution in San Bernardino. I was introduced to Rosa Maria's in the early 90s at their original location on 40th and Sierra Way - it was THE place to head after finals - a garbage burrito and the biggest Dr. Pepper available and you had the makings of one fine celebration! I was so glad when they expanded into Highland and then Redlands. The food is always good and I have genuinely missed them since moving to Texas almost 20 years ago. My family's first stop on road trips back to California was usually Rosa Maria's. My friends in Texas don't understand and they just don't know what they're missing. read more

They are too good for me to try other things, so it has been all tacos. I like the combo, al pastor, asada, guisada, and they are great. The rice and especially the beans are very tasty. The place is bright and clean, even the restroom, and well cared for. Redlands has some great vegan choices, more than most towns, and BZ Taco is one of the best.

The Guisada taco was the only meat with any flavor, it was good, but where they messed up is in the tortillas; they were dry and tough...yes, tough. They were not properly heated and should have been brushed with a little bit of oil. 5/10 The asada and al pastor literally had the same flavor. They were bland, needed some additional spice and seasoning. You can taste a bit of the marinade that was used, but it's very subtle. 3/10 "Fish" taco had a good, homemade corn tortilla, soft and pliable, but that's about the best I can say about it. The 3 miniature, skinny filets of fish were a joke. I'm sure the cooks were laughing as they made it. When I opened up the container, my first thought was that they forgot the fish. I had to dig up under all the cabbage to find the minuscule pieces. They should be ashamed. Again, this was very bland just like everything else. 2/10 Salsas: Red-only heat, no flavor. Green-watered down, no flavor, the limes had more flavor than the green salsa. Pineapple-bland, but was the only one that had a bit of flavor. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. This place will go on my NEVER AGAIN list, which is sad because I love to support small businesses, especially vegan/vegetarian ones.

A colleague spoke very highly of Taco Shack and after a close examination of the menu, I was in shock to see a California Burrito on their menu. I had to try it. The result? PERFECTION! Even the tortilla of the burrito was amazing. Aside from a tasty California Burrito, my first visit to Taco Shack was accompanied with friendly and fast service. The staff working the day I came in were kind, patient, and quick with orders. The establishment itself is a counter service type of spot. They have tables inside and a nice size patio area in front of the restaurant to enjoy some outdoor seating. I'm thrilled to have found Taco Shack and will definitely be stopping by again to try more items off of their menu. If you find yourself in or passing through Redlands, Taco Shack is worth the visit!

I usually order items with shrimp, and it seems like there is rarely much shrimp in them. The biggest concern for us, though, has been the cleanliness. When we came today, we watched an employee wipe down all of the outside tables using the same rag. At one point she unfolded/extended the rag and it was literally black from how dirty it was. Seeing that same rag being used from table to table honestly made us uncomfortable and didn't seem hygienic at all. We like coming here, so hopefully they can pay a little more attention to cleanliness and consistency with the food because those small things really do make a difference.

Hubby inquired if there were any food options that didn't contain nuts and the employee replied that all food had nuts some nuts. After looking at the menu, hubby decided to order Manchurian flavored vegan wings and garlic naan for hubby. Our food was deliciously prepared and had a good taste balance of sweet and spicy. Hubby said the garlic naan was crispy, flavorful, and he loved how he tasted garlic with each bite.

Even the naan tasted okay. It definitely felt like it was store bought. Over all, I'm not sure if I would come here again, but I didn't hate the experience. If you're interested in Indian fusion, I'd try them out but it wasn't for me.
