We stopped by Pancho's and it was busy, which made it feel like a place people come back again and again. The building is older and the inside is colorful. There's a lot of variety on the menu, which makes it a little hard to decide. I ordered the chilaquiles with asada and paid the upcharge, but the portion felt small and it was light on the meat. My wife ordered the ham and eggs, and the ham was more like thin sandwich-style ham. I was expecting something more like cubed or thicker-cut ham, so that was a little disappointing. The salsa was also pretty generic, and overall the portions felt a bit skimpy for the price. The food was good overall, nothing bad at all, but it didn't quite hit that wow moment for me. It feels like it's missing a small something, even though everything was fine. Service was on the slower side, and the food also took a while to come out, though they had a full house, so that likely played a role. The chips were okay, just pretty basic, like the kind you'd grab at the market. One thing to know going in is there's a 4% fee if you pay with a credit card. What can I say about Panchos that I haven't said already great customer service love the atmosphere. They got a bigger location now in the same plaza they make you feel at home and the food is amazing. Food was good. The waiters service l (Eduardo) was very welcoming and very attentive. Ambience is pretty dope as well. It's like a taco spot/bar and gives it that old school taco spot feeling. I don't know that I need to say anything that my photo doesn't show.... but Pancho's is clean, friendly and yummy! I chatted with the waiter (I came between breakfast and lunch). He brought me out a couple other salsas to try. He wasn't kidding when he said they were hot. He gave me extra napkins to my forehead! Whew! I had the steak picado burrito and the steak was tender and not overcooked. My waiter came back several times to check on me. And I told him the only problem was... I was supposed to take half my burrito home!! Ugh, I failed. lol You are missing out! The restaurant doesn't look the best from the outside, it's in an older center. But the inside is really new with beautiful bench seats. No rips or tears or duct on the seats. There is a full bar! The floor is beautifully tiled and clean! Nice pit stop lunch on our way to Big Bear in Highland! We were quickly welcomed and seated upon entering the establishment. Casual and friendly Spanish was a good indication of our experience. I was craving chicken so went with the two crispy tacos. I realize it's not traditional Mexican but sometimes a crunchy taco just hits! I was hitting 1.000 on every bite. My wife enjoyed her tostada salad and no complaints from our toddler on the guacamole. She gave her "approval". Success; and back on our way! Would consider stopping here again. read more

After hearing about this restaurant for months from local social media pages, I had to come check it out myself and it definitely did not disappoint. Went on Saturday around lunch. I'm big on reviews for good and bad and I knew this had to get a 5 stars from me. At first look, I was oh heck no but it's a "don't judge a book by its cover" type of place!! I had no idea what to expect but walking in I was impressed by the ambience. Sat down right away. Service was great and the food was excellent! I'm very picky with food. Mainly give this a 5 star because the meats were seasons sooo well!! The portions are smaller than other restaurants but still got full so that's okay. A lot of authentic restaurants have flavorless meat and that bothers me but not this place. I told my husband, way better than Taco Joes! I got beef flautas and a crispy chicken taco. My husband got soft tacos with different meats and my son got pancakes! Food for all! Highly recommend sit down or take out. We visited Pancho's for the first time and it was very good. My wife and I shared the Pancho's burrito and we were both very pleased with the taste. The service here was also excellent. It's hard to find service this good anymore. Most places nowadays will seat you, take your order then forget about you. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied from start to finish. The building was located in a small area surrounded by other small businesses so we didn't know what to expect going in, but once inside we both loved the decor and ambiance. It was cozy and quiet with very clean. We definitely plan on returning and ordering our own meals because I'd like to taste more from their menu. read more

Had lunch with friends at Pancho's a few months ago, we all liked the food. Nice ambiance, quiet, neighborhood restaurant, very friendly wait staff. Had Valentine's Day lunch today and we enjoyed our lunch very much. My husband ordered the loaded carne asada fries and a torta, I ordered one of the Valentine's Day specials, the shrimp and lobster enchiladas with beans, rice and it included a glass of champagne. Nothing happened. The place is closed down. Accuracy is key the place has been closed down from what I know for a nearly 3 months or longer. I did have the privilege of going once, though I would give it a six out of 10 the food was decent. The customer service wasn't mad. I was the only person there the place is extremely small. Unfortunately, I ran into a few problems with the order I placed through Grubhub today. I ordered Shredded Chicken Taquitos combo plate which comes with beans and rice, sour cream and guacamole. What I received was shredded beef taquitos. Second item I ordered was the Two Cheese Enchiladas Suizas combo plate which also comes with rice and beans. What I received was shredded chicken enchiladas. Lastly, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Burrito with no beans, but requested in the notes for shredded chicken to be substituted. What I received was a grilled chicken burrito without the substitution of shredded chicken but they did correctly omit the beans. Asked for extra salsas and only received 4 small containers. Not sure if someone in the kitchen just wasn't reading the receipt correctly or what, but I did order at 12:00pm (lunch time) which is probably their busiest time of the day. It still doesn't let them off the hook for the poor service, but I've had so many good experiences here that I won't let one time ruin it. I will definitely try them out again.
