Went here on Taco Tuesday with my entire family and this just absolutely hit the spot. It was SO delicious. I got 4 al pastor tacos and a quesabirria taco. Also got some horchata. All the tacos were juicy and perfect. Also the chips and salsa here are so good. The service was super fast and they got everyone's orders correct despite there being 8 of us. Only sad thing is that this place isn't bigger so that more people can fit in here and accommodate the amount of business this place gets and rightly deserves. If you want to eat great tacos in Yucaipa, this is the place. read more

We love the taco hut! The vegan burrito is excellent, and our oldest daughter cannot stop talking about their french fries! We're slowing trying new items on the menu as well. Rita is very kind, and we're so glad to have a place like this in Yucaipa. We love that they have a drive thru and there is parking and a little bit of seating as well if that's what you're looking for. They aren't open on Sundays anymore, but they do have breakfast burritos available all day! Swing through for some good local eats! read more

My wife, granddaughter and I visited The Taco Hut for the first time today and WOW! The place is small with just a few seats and a drive thru, but the food is very big in flavor. The owner, Rita and her son greeted us and were very attentive to us. We had the hard tacos combo, relleno with taco and the soft tacos plates. EVERYTHING was made from scratch and to order. The food was so delicious and the rice reminded me of my childhood at grandma's house! The combos come with rice, beans and a drink and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. We will definitely be coming back!! read more

Ordered dinner to go last night. They are such a nice family run restaurant. There was quite a few people picking up. And ordering, but everything ran quickly! I ordered chili relleno plate. I went through the drive thru and the lady was nice but didn't have the best customer service. I got beans and a chorizo taco. The taco was not fresh. The meat tasted like it had just been sitting. Amazing tacos. We special ordered chorizo ye papas tacos and she made them. They were amazing. Ordered hard shell shredded beef tacos.. loaded with beef... Even ordering to go and driving to the other end of yucaipa the tacos stayed crispy... the habanero salsa is my favorite. Spicy yes but the flavor is amazing and makes the spice very bearable. Now for the service... mother son duo and they both are amazing. Thank you both for your hospitality.... can't wait to come back and Tru some more! read more

As others have stated, the name changed to The Taco Hut. There are a lot of places for Spanish/Mexican food in Yucaipa; this was my first time going here and it will NOT be the last. I got an Al Pastor burrito and it was great. All the meats on the 3 Street Taco plate were good (carne asada, shredded chicken, al pastor). Surf and turf burrito I was told by my better half was delicious. All the salas (red, green, and habanero) had a lot of flavor. Better than more than a few of the other restaurants in the area if you are debating between a two, odds are this place is better, in my humble opinion. read more

Delicious tacos with fantastic and friendly service. This is a tiny hut that still has the old Sergio's signage up, but don't let that deter you. The food is so well flavored and fresh. We had the fish tacos, guacamole and horchata. All perfect. House made salsas were so good too. I love that when you dine in, your food comes on real plates and you are served. It feels like you are eating at the chef's house. Best tacos I've tried in the area so far. I heard the pupusas are fantastic too so will definitely be back to try those! read more

Wow, what a great little find I ran into on 5/28/2021 about 2pm. Just driving past and saw this tiny place, small few tables to eat indoors, or drive-thru. I ordered a soft drink, chorizo street taco, and premium potato taco. Both my tacos were just amazing with great flavor, was given 3 different salsa containers and I used the mild, which was awesome. Was just over $8 and paid $10 to allow for a tip. Pros. Easy access off the major street through this very nice town. Not many parking spots but looks like drive thru stays busy with small amount of dine in. Table was clean, outside entrance restroom was spotless. Lady at counter was very nice and could tell my first time so was explained well. Tacos were great. 3 different salsas to select from. Appears to be a same family business, that I love to support! Cons Wish you were not 70 miles from my house as I would enjoy this again and again! read more

We've been customers for years and have always enjoyed the food, which is why this was so…read moredisappointing. From the moment our server (tall skinny guy with tattoos) came to our table, he was rude, dismissive, and acting strange. We are understanding people who have worked as servers and in hospitality previously and decided to remain polite, give him the benefit of the doubt, and attempt to still enjoy our dinner. He repeatedly cut us off while we were speaking, made sarcastic and strange remarks, rushed us to order drinks, skipped over my sister in law, rolled his eyes multiple times, shouted "if you were listening you would have heard me say I'm bringing water for everyone" very rudely when someone asked for a water, and then didn't return to take our food order for almost 30 minutes after he brought our drinks. When he did return, he was again being rude. It got to the point where he was actually making us feel uncomfortable and we asked if everything was okay and explained that his behavior felt disrespectful. We requested a different server, but instead of addressing our concerns, he began arguing with us, raised his voice, said, "can I trade you guys out" then he abruptly walked away... At that point, we decided to get up and go to the front to pay for our drinks and leave. We explained the situation to the manager, who offered personal reasons for the employee's behavior. While we sympathize with anyone going through a difficult time, we don't feel it's an excuse to treat customers poorly when they have been polite and respectful and put up with his poor behavior longer than we should've have in the first place. As we were speaking with the manager he was nearby and saying weird things under his breath again. While we were walking out after paying with the manager, the server continued shouting at us and saying rude things across the restaurant. He even asked my brother in law if he was trying to fight while we were walking out... we didn't say anything to retaliate and left the restaurant to find another spot for dinner. We had a small child with us and he was acting erratically, so just wanted to share a tale of caution. The food has always been good, the staff (besides the gentleman we had tonight) is friendly, and we've supported this restaurant for years, but hopefully they can ensure a safer and more pleasant dining experience for guests.

One thing to note: jalapeños are automatically added to the bánh mì, so be sure to request no jalapeños when ordering if you're sensitive to spice. The seasoning and flavors in both bánh mì sandwiches were excellent, and all of the vegetables served with the bánh mì and egg rolls were fresh and crisp. In my opinion, it's often the little details like fresh produce that reveal the quality of a restaurant, and this place definitely delivered. We arrived around 7:30 PM and were a little concerned that we might feel rushed since it was getting close to closing time. Fortunately, that wasn't the case at all. The staffs allowed us to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace, and we never felt pressured to leave. The dining area had two TVs showing family-friendly programming--one featured a Vietnamese cooking show, while the other was airing FIFA coverage on a news channel. It created a relaxed atmosphere, and we enjoyed a calm dinner with our 3- and 6-year-old children after a long day at the lavender farm. I also tried the Orange Thai Iced Tea. It was refreshing, though I didn't really notice much orange flavor. There are two individual single-stall restrooms available, and both were clean. Families will also appreciate that high chairs are conveniently located near the sauce and drink station. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return. First, the service you get when coming in is exceptional. The entire shop is super friendly. The ordering didn't take long and the food was quick to come out. Lived in Yucaipa my entire life and grew up with Rosie's in highschool. I've been loyal to Rosie's and always will be. However, the Taco Hut blew me away with quality and taste.
