Loved my experience here. This is a must visit for Latin food if you're in Yucaipa. The food was authentic and delicious. I met the owner Rita and Michael who helps assist her this past week and they are so friendly. Michael offered me chips and water when he noticed me dining by myself. It's a small family restaurant with lots of love. The ambiance is a cute small place with a few tables for intimate conversation. The food tastes like a dine in restaurant and not fast food. The Veggie Burrito was one of my favorites I've ever had. I've been there twice now in 1 week. Please support this business. Went here on Taco Tuesday with my entire family and this just absolutely hit the spot. It was SO delicious. I got 4 al pastor tacos and a quesabirria taco. Also got some horchata. All the tacos were juicy and perfect. Also the chips and salsa here are so good. The service was super fast and they got everyone's orders correct despite there being 8 of us. Only sad thing is that this place isn't bigger so that more people can fit in here and accommodate the amount of business this place gets and rightly deserves. We love the taco hut! The vegan burrito is excellent, and our oldest daughter cannot stop talking about their french fries! We're slowing trying new items on the menu as well. Rita is very kind, and we're so glad to have a place like this in Yucaipa. We love that they have a drive thru and there is parking and a little bit of seating as well if that's what you're looking for. They aren't open on Sundays anymore, but they do have breakfast burritos available all day! Swing through for some good local eats! read more

My wife, granddaughter and I visited The Taco Hut for the first time today and WOW! The place is small with just a few seats and a drive thru, but the food is very big in flavor. The owner, Rita and her son greeted us and were very attentive to us. We had the hard tacos combo, relleno with taco and the soft tacos plates. EVERYTHING was made from scratch and to order. The food was so delicious and the rice reminded me of my childhood at grandma's house! The combos come with rice, beans and a drink and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Food is good here, but the woman (owner i believe) is SO RUDE! and God forbid you ask for an extra salsa or two for your $16 medium size burrito. Service was excellent but the food was not very good. The hot sauces/salsa were nothing I have ever eaten before, creamy and weird. My taquitos were over fried and hard as rock. My lunch dates rice and beans were cold. We won't be back to even give it a second try. read more

I went through the drive thru and the lady was nice but didn't have the best customer service. I got beans and a chorizo taco. The taco was not fresh. The meat tasted like it had just been sitting. Amazing tacos. We special ordered chorizo ye papas tacos and she made them. They were amazing. Ordered hard shell shredded beef tacos.. loaded with beef... Even ordering to go and driving to the other end of yucaipa the tacos stayed crispy... the habanero salsa is my favorite. Spicy yes but the flavor is amazing and makes the spice very bearable. As others have stated, the name changed to The Taco Hut. There are a lot of places for Spanish/Mexican food in Yucaipa; this was my first time going here and it will NOT be the last. I got an Al Pastor burrito and it was great. All the meats on the 3 Street Taco plate were good (carne asada, shredded chicken, al pastor). Surf and turf burrito I was told by my better half was delicious. All the salas (red, green, and habanero) had a lot of flavor. Delicious tacos with fantastic and friendly service. This is a tiny hut that still has the old Sergio's signage up, but don't let that deter you. The food is so well flavored and fresh. We had the fish tacos, guacamole and horchata. All perfect. House made salsas were so good too. I love that when you dine in, your food comes on real plates and you are served. This place is hands down amazing !!!!! Me and my husband came in around 7:20 40 minutes before closing and was greeted with an amazing cook who said to us to don't worry about the time and to enjoy our meal. Now let me tell you we most definitely enjoyed our meal. We both order the beef burrito and was amazed at every bite. I can say this place has gained another regular customer! Wow, what a great little find I ran into on 5/28/2021 about 2pm. Just driving past and saw this tiny place, small few tables to eat indoors, or drive-thru. I ordered a soft drink, chorizo street taco, and premium potato taco. Both my tacos were just amazing with great flavor, was given 3 different salsa containers and I used the mild, which was awesome. Was just over $8 and paid $10 to allow for a tip. Pros. Easy access off the major street through this very nice town. Not many parking spots but looks like drive thru stays busy with small amount of dine in. Table was clean, outside entrance restroom was spotless. Lady at counter was very nice and could tell my first time so was explained well. Tacos were great. 3 different salsas to select from. Appears to be a same family business, that I love to support!
