La Cruda is all about the shrimp, octopus, oysters, scallops, tuna and crab! I love that they don't service you a common basket of chips with salsa, no they bring you whole fried tostada tortillas and crackers of course you get salsa too. I had the small "chico" shrimp cocktail and I got to add my ketchup to my taste. They gave you a choice of sauces on the table. My shrimp cocktail was by no means Chico, it was generously packed with shrimp and the veggies that are typical to a Mexican cocktail. I saw some other items I can't wait to try. The prices are compassionately priced but the serving are generous considering I have paid more and received less in other places. The servers are very attentive and sweet. La Cruda reminds me of the little places on the beaches in Puerto Rico. Instead they are on the shore of the 91fwy in Riverside. Check them out for a simple tasty seafood cocktail. I have been driving past and overlooking for much too long. A new personal fav for me! BTW, I took the picture after I ate more than half that meal.

There was so much meat packed into each taco that two were more than enough for a filling lunch. For under $10, especially since they also included chips and salsa, I thought it was a really good value. The steak was tender and juicy, but I actually liked the lengua even more. It had a really rich beef flavor and wasn't dry at all. My only complaint was that the lengua still had some of the outer skin attached. The texture honestly gave me a little bit of goosebumps while eating it . I really wish they had removed it completely. Other than that, the lengua itself was delicious. Great flavor, generous portions, and a very satisfying lunch for the price.

Today my husband and I came back to Fuego Cravings ( we went on Friday too for the first time)…read more because we just couldn't get through the weekend without a buirria taco and a campechano taco, one to eat there and one to go for lunch tomorrow . We've eaten a lot of Burria around California and Fuegos is ON POINT! Tender, juicy, with flavor richer than any we've tried! The consome they give you for dipping on the side is more than plenty, so rich and delicious. Best way to enjoy is to get the 2 taco birria with rice (yum) and beans with a drink all for one price. Today we met Maria who took our order and spoke with us about the food. I also am taken back by the the friendly and attentive service we have received both times. I could see how proud Maria was when she was talking about making the various dishes. All made with love and it comes through in the taste of the food. I know I sound like a broken record but I just can't believe we have this restaurant in our local area and haven't crossed its path until now. I'm glad we did though better late than never. I highly recommend Fuego Cravings Highland to even the most critical Mexican foodie.

Hubby was going to order some food to-go until he saw a mandatory service fee is added to everyone's check. "For What"? They said its to help the restaurant lol Of course it is because you're charging more for nothing. So we decided to go grab some grub from somewhere else instead. Like I get prices are high everywhere but we refuse to pay service fees for nothing. I could see if we were going to dine in and we we're a party of 5-6 or more...but charging these types of fees for nothing. Is no bueno!

Clean establishment 5/5 Friendly/ attentive staff 5/5 Varieties of food options 5/5 Deliciousness 5/5 Jo / Judith both helped us with our orders, service by these two ladies were excellent. Caldo De res & Menudo in 104° weather ? Why not , I love soup in any type of weather . My go to now for Menudo , sadly it's only offered on weekends and when it sells out that's it. Caldo de res & Menudo were equally well seasoned , they were not skimping on the meat , it was big chunks of beef and lots of tripe . $2 extra to add pata . I had a bite of my friend's trio chicken , shrimps and beef enchiladas , Oh my goodness I never had moist and flavorful chicken enchiladas in all my days eating chicken enchiladas at other restaurants. Here at Sazon it , chicken enchiladas was delicious our eyes lit up and simultaneously "oohhh so good ". Will definitely be back ...

Still very casual and simple--not really an IG-worthy kind of place. Service was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. The chips & salsa were a solid 4/5--thin, crispy chips and a slightly smoky salsa with a nice kick. Beans were thick and creamy (4/5), rice was basic/ traditional (3.5/5). The chile relleno was a 2.5/5 for me. I love this dish, but they use panela cheese, which didn't have much flavor and didn't get that melty, gooey texture I prefer. The chicken enchilada with green sauce was definitely the winner--5/5! That sauce was SO flavorful and easily my favorite part of the meal. The pineapple agua fresca was also refreshing. Overall, 3.5/5. Not my favorite atmosphere or chile relleno, but I loved the enchilada and it's always nice finding a local spot to support.

The atmosphere was warm and festive, with great music and beautiful presentation on every dish. The food was excellent -- the carne asada tacos were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the enchiladas were rich and comforting, and the fresh guacamole was some of the best we've had. The margaritas were also amazing and paired perfectly with the meal. What really stood out was the service. Our server checked in often, made great recommendations, and even helped make the day feel extra special for my mom. You can tell this place cares about both the food and the people who come in. Highly recommend for family dinners, celebrations, or anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. We'll definitely be back!

My friends and I had plans to go to ZAMA and found out it was closed so we had to find a new place…read more We ended up here just based off the pictures. Let's start with the margarita I got, I did not taste any alcohol in it (and I cannot have strong drinks! So that can tell you a lot) not worth $18. We basically paid for an expensive agua fresca! Then I ordered the carne asada skewers. The first bite was okay, not very flavorful, but I thought I could just finish it. As I go through the meat, I notice so much fat and very little meat. I grab another piece and bite into it, I start chewing and realize that it tasted like raw meat (with a hint taste of raw meat that spent too much time in the fridge) I immediately got nauseous and spit it out on a napkin. I told our server and he asked me what else I would like. I then ordered the fish tacos, he brought it out in less than 5 minutes (kind of fast if you ask me) I try a small piece of the fish and it wasn't bad, I give a piece to my friend and she only got fat. Why is there fat in my fish tacos! I tried to pick through it so I could atleast get full, but I couldn't do it. The server came to pick up our plates and asked me if I didn't like the tacos, I said no but that's okay don't worry about it. I was so disappointed because I was starving. My friend ordered the rib eye tacos and had to pick through it too because most of it was fat. The only good thing that happened was that our server did not charge me for the two plates that I didn't eat. We thanked him, paid the check and left. Unfortunately, this was not the best food and we were excited to eat and celebrate my birthday.
