I stopped by after a friend sent me a viral video showing their chili relleno burrito with carne asada, and it immediately caught my attention. When I arrived, I was a little confused about where to order since there's a window outside and also a small seating area inside where you can order as well. It wasn't a big deal, just a little unclear at first. I'll admit, my first reaction was to question the price. At $23, the burrito definitely isn't cheap. But once I got home and opened it up, I quickly understood why. This thing is massive, seriously like the size of a newborn baby! The burrito is absolutely loaded with all the goodness you'd expect: carne asada, chili relleno, and rice. Definitely a burrito you could easily share. My only real complaint is that they only gave me two small containers of hot sauce, which didn't feel like enough considering the size of the burrito and that it also comes with chips. Other than that, the food was delicious and the portion size is no joke. If you're a fan of big, flavorful burritos, this is definitely a must-try spot! read more

Took one hour to get our food. It took that long for everyone else that was there too. I was hopeful the enchiladas were similar to my mom's that passed away 9 yrs ago and was from Michoacán but once they added the hot salsa juice on top of the cabbage it made them more like crunchy quesadillas that got soggy, not at all an enchilada but decent flavor. The chicken that came with it was indeed bomb. Menu doesn't come with prices and the dishes are overpriced considering the food was not what expected. One enchilada plate, wet burrito, one kids plate , one beer and one orchata was $75, we added tip to that. My husband said his wet burrito was okay but since it was just okay and it was $25 not worth getting since it's just a burrito. They give you salsa ins containers smaller than the ranch containers to go and it makes it hard to eat chips and salsa off of them. The salsas for the chips are more for tacos than to dip in. Some ones else's fish tacos looked good and I thought I'd give them a try next time since this place is in my hometown but all in all I don't plan to come back in the near future because of how long it took to get our food at the end. I was worn out from waiting for my food with my restless toddler. ***I recommend not adding that steaming hot sauces to the enchiladas that turn them to shredded quesadillas and faster service. read more

So I seen this on instagram and the raved about it. So I decided to try for myself, the serve you chips a little bowel with unsalted beans that probably had like a quarter of the bowel with beans. And I tried to order the mole and I asked for chicken breast they didn't carry breast then I asked for thighs, they came back like five minutes 10 minutes later and said they don't have thighs so not happy. The food needs flavor. The taco was ok my daughter didn't like the taco the Barbacoa or the thing that looks like a Monita . There was another Customer Care that was sitting before we were. I Lived in Michoacan for about 7 years and to charge $50 bucks for two enchilada plates would have been great ifffff there was rice and beans included aswell as the enchiladas stuffed with cheese and onions like they did in MICHOACAN. It sucks because I know your food cost is not degraded to the point where youll be charging $26 bucks for tortillas with sauce and 4 ounces of meat. Like cmon guys. Got home and the asada relleno burrito was the size of any regular breakfast burrito. I thought maybe its was because I asked for no lettuce in my burrito. After a few bites I realized that there was no asada. I kept thinking after a few bites I would then get to the asada. Nope, I was given the wrong burrito. I was totally disappointed, I mean at that time I already ate half of the burrito and I didn't want to leave the house after getting home from a long day at work. Had a chili relleno burrito, had trouble finding the relleno, very small. Taste was good but not worth the price of $18 for the size. Mostly rice, I skip the beans. This restaurant is the bomb! This is not your typical Mexican place. This is stepped up another level. The recipes just taste better, like my abuelita used to make. The jerked chicken and steak were fantastic, the guacamole is so fresh. Even the michelada mix is house made and not bought. Mom, my partner n I were hungry so we were driving around but, again, it's Christmas so we figured we'd end up at home making something. The enchiladas are good, chilaquiles great ,the mole is absolutely delicious, the cafe de olla is bomb. The menudo was okay. Sopes are delicious too. The service is okay, sometimes it seems like they forget about you. Sometimes a guy with a guitar and another guy with an accordion come in to play, this place is small so it seems extra loud it's hard to hear if you're trying to have actual conversations. Thankfully, they only do one song. Parking is not that great either. Overall, I would say the authentic food makes up for it. read more
