After a couple visits I have only begun to sample the menu, but I've liked what I've tried, so this review reflects those things. Pricing is pretty standard here when compared with other regional Chinese restaurants. For example, Combo A is one item plus choice of rice and chow mein, B two items, and C three. Prices, corresponding at $9.99, $10.99, and 11.99, more or less. I typically go for two items. The first trip was the orange chicken and BBQ pork, the latter is nearly an extra dollar at every restaurant. Well-worth it usually, and that's the star of my two visits. The orange chicken is capably made but no distinctive features other than tasty. The pork, however, is in its own class. Not too salty, or fatty, and a rich flavor of star anise and allspice. They slice it thin and cover well with sauce that's not too thick and sticky. The second visit was equally good, the pork again impressed me, and I became a big fan their spicy Mongolian chicken, especially the jalapeños in the blend. Overall, this is a good place to order take-out, or dine in for a bit. I'll be back in the future for sure. Finally, the chow mein noods are al dente, and the fried rice is less greasy than most spots. read more

Best BBQ Pork in the IE! If you visit this fast food restaurant for anything, you'd be crazy not to try the BBQ pork. Out of all the Chinese take out restaurants I've visited in the Inland Empire, this one stands out simply because this one entrée. Don't come too early, don't come too late. The BBQ pork usually placed out to be served at 2pm in the afternoon and is usually sold out by 6pm. If you get this item a la carte or part of a combo and get it freshly chopped and not doused or marinated in the sauce, EVEN BETTER! I've been coming to this locating for years and the BBQ pork has remained unchanged. It's only about time I've decided to Yelp about it. Service here is a 5/5. The BBQ pork is an absolute 5/5! However, the proteins were far from impressive. I found bones in the orange chicken and the meat quality was subpar. In the end, I had to throw away my plate. We were so glad we finally decided to hive this place a try. Despite some of the other reviews we ha d great experience. The food was fresh and very delicious. Also affordable. The jalapeño chicken was amazing. Not too spicy but also not super breaded. It was crispy and just the right amount of spice. We also tried the Japanese chicken and that was really good. Sweet, kind of close to the BBQ pork but it was a bit different. Of you like sweet and not breaded then you will love it. The noodles were very good. That is always my daughter's favorite and she loved these. We had the orange chicken and the BBQ pork and they were very good. Sometimes Orange chicken can be extremely breaded but these were every good. Lots of meat. The BBQ pork was amazing. So glad I ended up getting that. Can't wait to try more. I didn't get to tey and drinks this time. I saw they had Boba so we will definitely be trying that next time. This place is a solid 3 1/2 stars. Not the best but DEFINITELY not the worst Chinese food establishment in the area. I've tried several items in their menu over the years and the only entrees I reorder are the Jalapeño chicken and Japanese chicken. I strongly believe their Jalapeño chicken is their star entree. If given the option to chose between here or Panda Express, I'd only chose Panda Wok over Panda Express if I was very hungry and had a big appetite to fill. Not only does Panda Wok serve larger sized portions than Panda Express even a bowl is enough to keep you full. Panda Express edges out Panda Wok on flavor and quality. The biggest drawbacks I find there to be of Panda Wok are their lack of solid entree options, a lot of their flavors and entrees fall very short from expectations. Also, don't believe it's been mentioned yet, but their food is extremely oily... It must contain high amounts of sodium as after I eat I am always left feeling bloated up to the next day. And while I do appreciate their initiative to provide customers with stamp cards, and larger portions, I wish there was an effort to improve the flavors of their entrees and to cook more healthily, using far less oil and sodium. read more

I meant to check this place out when it first opened (March 1, 2013) but the lines were, quite literally, out the door and extending past (ironically enough) the Thai T directly adjacent. I knew I would have to come at a later date, and today happened to be that day. The interior is very spacious, clean, and well-maintained. You are instantly greeted by a cheerful and friendly young woman, who happens to be quite personable and very helpful. I decided to try the Two Meat Combo. For about $6.50 inclusive, you get half-and-half of fried rice and vegetable lo mein. You also get a fountain drink, but I think this is a current special that they have going on. For my two meat items, I opted for the Broccoli Beef and the Pepper Steak. The broccoli beef was full of intense flavor overall, while the beef itself is very tender. And I particularly enjoy the way that the broccoli florets capture the sauce so that each broccoli bite is extra delicious. As far as the pepper steak goes, I must say that this is the first time that I had had pepper steak that actually lives up to its name. There is a good amount of black pepper flavor in every bite. It's not overwhelming at all, but if you prefer black pepper as much as I do, then this dish does not disappoint. The entree is also sauteed with green beans and onions and have the same equal amount of peppery flavor but the vegetables themselves maintain a good amount of crispness to their texture - they're not overcooked, mushy veggies. There had to be about 10 other meat entrees to choose from. I fully intend to make the rounds and report back to Yelp as necessary. Lol And I did notice that they served BBQ pork after 4:00 PM. I've tried a few different items and never was disappointed. I will say I never had anything on the fried chicken menu. My favorite Boba drink is the Thai tea. For the most part they give good size portions. If you come in few minutes before closing, you'll find empty trays, but what they have left they will definitely pile on your tray (usually larger servings). The inside was nice and spacious and clean and well decorated I had no complaints other then the temperature inside was nearly boiling its way to warm in there for comfort so I got it to go. The people were helpfull and kind and friendly there's a very attractive asian girl inside no lie so ill be a returning customer. There aren't many good Chinese restaurants nearby me, but this place has been my go to place for many reasons. I suppose one of the main reasons I come back is that I feel I'm never cheated out of my money. Food: I am in love with their chow mien! I always make sure to get both my sides chow mien instead of fried rice. You can also get their white rice too which is a bit "meh." Yes, white rice can vary, don't judge me! To be honest one of the reasons Panda Wok receives four stars instead of five is because of the meat items. I really only love two and the rest are just ok. For example, I've ordered their mushroom chicken, teriyaki chicken and BBQ pork, and they weren't anything worth ordering again. That said, their orange chicken and sweet and spicy chicken is my go to, and I basically will eat there when I'm feeling both of those items. Also, I absolutely love the portions they give you! If you're hungry or want to have leftovers later, I highly recommend eating here! They pile on the chow mien, but don't overrun it to the point where it takes away from the meat items. In fact, sometimes, they will throw a few more on top of the chow mien, which makes this fluffy person happy! ^_^ No Panda Express-like portions here, and the food is better too! In terms of the sides, I have had their eggrolls, and they are ok. Nothing special. They do have potstickers on special order and they are pretty decent. Although you do need to have some time to spare because they make them fresh. Staff: Never had an issue with a staff member. In fact, they have been polite and easy to talk to, which is a welcoming experience to me since most similar establishments have the awkward silence and absolutely no social skills. Here, it almost feels like seeing old acquaintances, and I'll take that any day over awkward silence. They are also helpful enough to offer samples if you aren't quite sure what to order. I should have taken this route with the mushroom chicken... Atmosphere: This place is not decked out with too much decor. It's definitely a comfortable place to eat your food. The dining area is kept really clean, there are a few decorations but they aren't overbearing to the point where it is blatantly obvious that they are trying to sell to the customers that they are indeed a Chinese inspired restaurant. You know, as if you couldn't figure it out by the sign outside. What really impressed me are the restrooms! I try never to use the bathrooms, especially at fast food places. But to my surprise, it is kept really clean. Kudos to the staff on a job well done! Price: In terms of price, it costs about the same as any ordinary Chinese restaurant. If you get just a meal, it will cost you between $5-10 per person depending on what you order. In my case, it generally runs me about $7. Still cheaper than Panda Express. But to me, the food is much cheaper because of the quantity you receive for each meal. I've even seen bowls stacked to the brim! Also, they do have punch cards that are worth getting if you attend frequently like I do. Fill up your card, and they give you a free meal! They do the same thing for their Boba Teas! That's caring about your customers right there. What does kind of disappoint me is they charge if you use a debit/credit card. They aren't the only ones, but still disappointing nonetheless. Overall: They may not have the best food I've ever tasted, but they are still good enough to keep me as a regular customer.
