The food here tastes really good and it's made to order, comes out very hot so be careful eating it. The beef was very tender and came with mushrooms and onions. The noodles were firm and came with various vegetables. The orange chicken was sweet and slightly tangy. The salt and pepper pork belly was fried and had the right amount of seasoning on there. The service was good. Took our order and gave us our food and drinks in a timely manner. When you arrive, you're given a plate with a napkin, spoon and fork. I prefer chopsticks and when we requested chopsticks, they were given to us. Overall, the food here tastes very good and the owner makes sure that everything went well and food tasted good. It's worth giving a try and supporting small business.

If you live in Fontana try this place out. It is kind of tucked away, but worth the trip. Went on a really hot day. After I ordered I sat and waited at a table. The owner brought me a cup of sweet tea which was really refreshing, at no charge. How often does that happen nowadays. I ordered several things to try, but the one item that really sticks out was the dim sum shao mai. They were so tasty and HUGE! My son really enjoyed the orange chicken, which is something that I typically don't like, but it was really good. Definitely tasted like it was actual fresh chicken and not some frozen chicken that was used. Everything tasted great and I'll plan to come back.

Took my BF for Sunday dinner. They have a nice dining room, if you want to stay and have a sit down dinner. You have to pay extra for rice, it is not included with the entree, but serving size is bigger than most restaurants. My BF loved the broccoli beef! The entree serving size is large and we ended up having leftovers of both. We got 2 entrees and an appetizer for $40.

Lazy to cook for Thanksgiving lol!! Be sure to put your order in for party trays I was craving for some Shu Mai and XLB , of course I had to stop in. Like usual Phu Chen continues to settle my craving feeling content and no longer hangry lol!! Service and cleanliness is always top tier here .

Thin strips of Orange chicken. Pieces were chewy, where's the meat?

First time ordering takeout. Friendly service and decent portions. Chicken fried rice had good wok flavor but needed more soy sauce. Broccoli beef was the standout--great flavor and perfectly cooked broccoli with a nice crunch. (I was told it comes with 16 oz of beef, though it didn't quite seem like it.) Orange chicken was disappointing--thin, chewy strips with barely any meat. Would not recommend. Pan-fried dumplings were clearly deep-fried (visually obvious) and came out dry--also wouldn't recommend.

Update 9/4/2025 It's been almost 2 years and a half that I have been a regular customer here. Stellar service by Mike and the chef 's wife ! Some lobster seafood dishes, Hainan chicken and BBQ pork have to be called in and ordered in few days advance ensuring freshness !!! Today we had a birthday celebration that I had reserved days in advance for 14 people! Everyone enjoyed all the dishes ! All dishes always cooked fresh upon ordering !!!! Chef Paul is aware of one of my grandson's peanut allergy so all were prepared with caution from cross contamination!!! Among the dishes we ordered today were: Steamed rice Pan Fried noodles with beef BBQ pork buns New pan fried pork buns Crispy pan fried noodles with beef Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce Chicken fried rice Spicy & Regular orange chicken Fried shrimp with Salt & pepper Honey Walnut Shrimp ( walnuts separately on another plate) Black Pepper Beef Mignon Xiao Long Bao steamed dumplings Braised String Beans Was a busy night tonight almost a full house !!

Wanted to share Phu Chen top 100 Chinese restaurants in America great job. Consistent delicious flavors still maintained from first opening. Family favorite

Fantastic food, so delicious and savory. True flavors without adding an MSG. All the ingredients are fresh and new. The chef knows how to balance flavor and textures. Outstanding. This place is a hidden gem. Hong Kong/southern flavors that don't overburden your pallet. Highly recommended . Sweet-and-sour Soup - best I've experienced in ages. Highly recommend Kung Poa and Orange chicken dishes. Plus great Mapo Tofu (if you like spicy - ask) tofo is very tender and fresh. And I can't say enough about the green beans - #1 in soCal. Crispy and very fresh

Yelp didn't disappoint! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. It's spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The two gentlemen serving and taking our order were attentive and efficient. We can't wait to go back to try more dishes.

This place is amazing. It's a small and humble Chinese restaurant that serves incredibly delicious food. From the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere to the high quality food--both dine in and take out, this place is definitely worth a try whenever you're in the area. My personal favorites are the Japanese tofu, chicken wings, and house special fish fillet. Japanese tofu has the perfect softest tofu ever. The chicken wings are so crispy and juicy, I think about them so often. And last but not least, the house special fish fillet is a soft fish that is full of flavor--so easy to eat and to order again and again.

Phu Chen Kitchen has been raved about by my Yelpie friends for the longest time. I had the intention to check it out one day. Funny, I was at Wal-Mart parking lot and I happened to look up. Guess what I saw? The biz name Phu Chen right across the street from Wal-mart. I said since I am nearby, I might as well. My first time here was for take-out. Staff was welcoming. Food was ready timely. Shrimp gaw was gigantic and full of shrimp... it almost covered my entire palm! It was that big. It had great flavor. Chicken wings were amazing! Veggie chow mein was okay. It needed more wok flavor IMHO. Portions were very good though. My second time here was for dine-in with my Yelpie friend. I noticed the person taking our order was giving the attention primarily to my friend as if I wasn't there. It's all good. I'm not a regular customer. She is. But still... good customer service should be given regardless of frequency of visits. However, the other staff member was very attentive and took great care of us throughout our 5 hours of dining LOL. Thank you sir! The young lady behind the counter was very nice, too. Thank you miss! Our dine-in meal was very delicious overall. Fish maw soup was quite flavorful... I enjoyed it very much. Garlic string beans were crispy, firm, and tasty... it's a winner... must get every time! Fried pork belly was decent. It didn't have any WOW factor to it. The batter needed more seasoning IMHO. Seafood chow mein had a lot of yellow noodles topped with a good amount of fresh tasting seafood. I love my seafood! Last, but not least, shrimp gaw shined again! Great selections of Chinese foods in huge portions, good amount of inside seating space, and wonderful service! Plenty of free parking. What are you waiting for... come on by and check out Phu Chen!

Spicy salty pork they use the same seasoning on the wings, but I think I like the pork a bit better than the chicken

My wife and I were about to head out to our typical dim sum place in Ontario but noticed traffic was bad so decided to look on Yelp for a new hopefully just as good if not better local place. Which brought us to Phu Chen Kitchen. The reviews were amazing so we had for find out for ourselves. This place is about 15 mins away from me. Thank God! Parking is plentiful. Its found in a small plaza on the same parking place as Bowlero off of Foothill. My wife and I was greeted right away and seated. The place is very clean and organized. We ordered the Dim Sum shu mai and shrimp hargow. These were not only amazing but Gigantic well worth what they are charging ( 7.95) for shu mai and 7.50 for shrimp hargow. We also got green beans, walnut shrimp, spicy salty pork, spicy salty wings, chicken fried rice. EVERYTHING, I MEAN EVERYTHING was made FRESH!!! Nothing tasted like it was pre-made or just sitting there. Fresh crispy well season amazing authentic Chinese food! Way better then PANDA INN at a fraction of the cost. Staff was amazing friendly attentive and accommodating. Even the owner came out to greet us, staff understand and speaK English well. I have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant to call home since I moved out here in 2017, and im glad that I finally found the hidden Gem in Fontana! I highly recommend coming here and trying everything because there wasnt anything I didnt like. They've only been here since 2023 and I hope they continue to get the exposure they need to strive! Support your Local Business!

My mom loves Chinese food so anytime we visit town we try a new spot and this one was a clear winner! We tried the orange chicken, kung pao beef, and honey walnut shrimp. All of the dishes were cooked well and had the perfect amount of sauce. Our favorite was the orange chicken, perfectly crispy and right balance of meat/batter. This is a family owned restaurant and our waitress was prompt and super nice. Everything is clean and well maintained. We dug in before I took the photos so presentation is much nicer than I captured lol

Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Everything tastes good. I just finished my leftovers and I'm already craving the noodles since they were so soft. The restaurant is clean and modern with big windows and an outdoor patio. If it weren't so hot (We came on a 100F day) it looked like a nice place to eat under the umbrellas. I accidentally spilled a jar of hot sauce which for some reason had a loose removable lid and one of the waitresses was quick to clean it up for us. She was nice about it, too, like she could've easily copped an attitude with us about it, but didn't. A man next to us said he accidentally did the same thing which makes me think they need to find a different container for that sauce. There's a huge parking lot, so that wasn't a problem. However, the area directly in front of the restaurant and the other shops near it were sectioned off with yellow caution tape for some reason and my sister said it looked like a murder scene, which made me laugh. I'm fairly sure that wasn't the case, but I don't know why they did it. The only reason I knew the restaurant was open for business was because I saw people eating inside through the windows.

Still just as plump, with their signature, wonderful pork- shrimp filling, my taste buds let out a big sigh of relief. I've had to endure some pretty horrible ones from other restaurants lately. Big Skyy's is superb. Next, the black bean pork ribs. Wonderful, just as we remembered. A healthy portion, plenty of meat in spite of the bones. Great gravy. Finally, the eggplant with beef. This one was extra special, made with generous amounts of filet mignon, eggplant cut in spears, cooked in a salty sweet garlic sauce that is very special. It was melt-in-your-mouth, swoon worthy. One of my favorites. They still accommodate large family groups, a few big round tables for 6 or more. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer all our questions. They feature the same marvelous menu and the same chef who creates those traditional Chinese dishes with pizzazz. It's wonderful to re-acquaint ourselves with an old "friend". It's even better to know, the important things we remembered have not changed a bit. You would be right to assume we will be back!
