Everything came out fresh, hot, and really good. Spicy wontons were delicious. Our server was super sweet. She was taking care of us, another big party, and a few smaller tables but still made sure our drinks stayed full, checked on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. We came here for our first time, there was only one couple seated when we came in. The waitress told we could sit anywhere so we did. We sat and she completely forgot to even give us menus. We ordered our drinks and mine for some reason mine came in a to go cup. We looked at menu finally and ordered some items that looked good from the pics. The waitress was bringing a dish plate when she dropped our cup of ice on the table. I felt like she just needed to slow down, because she had done the same thing at the other table not too long ago. The food came at all different times than how we ordered it. We got our rice 1st but we were still waiting on the on meat dishes. The food tasted okay not like mouthwatering. We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The stir-fried beef noodles were the star -- super tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and great wok flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. The cold chicken came with a spicy sauce that wasn't fiery hot--it didn't burn your tongue--but instead left this kind of numbing sensation on the lips. Interesting, but not quite the flavor punch I was hoping for. The dumplings and noodles were decent, nothing bad or off, just not super memorable. The vibe of the restaurant is small and simple--probably about seven or eight tables in total. The service was friendly and on point, which I always appreciate. Victorville's first dim sum spot is so good! I came on a Saturday night and all the food was so fresh. The service was fast and the host was very nice. I tried the Xialong bao (soup dumplings), steamed pork buns, custard buns, beef roll up pan cake, and chive pan cake with a side of black vinegar and soy sauce. Everything was delicious! We had 2 orders of soup dumplings because they were so comforting and soupy. There's plenty of seating and parking. The walls are decorated with Asian art which is really cool. Felt like having some dim sum while in Victorville. By no means is this city known for their Chinese food, so I honestly had very low expectations about this place. Especially as we were walking up to it, and it's located right in the middle of a strip mall right next to Petco and Vons. Inside is so so. Not too many tables to sit at. Maybe 30 dishes or so. They did get the food out quickly though. And to my surprise it was actually pretty good!! Not having tried any other Dim Sum places in the high dessert, I would have to say there's is the best one I've tried so far. And pricing is affordable. Waitress working here are super nice and friendly without being weirdly over bubbly and or obnoxious. We ordered the following: 1. Cucumber salad- fresh, simple, nicely made. Nice vinaigrette sauce. 2. Vegetable egg roll- nice crunch on the outside. Good amount of vegetables on the inside. 3. Dumplings- nice crust. Good amountnof meet inside. Great flavors. 4. Forget the Chicken feet it has zero flavor very bland I have to ask the server for black vinegar, chili oil just to save it but the server is so stingy with all of this condiments....
