I wanted a good California Roll and a Shrimp Tempura Roll and was out by Linko and decided to try them again. I have always been pleased with these two items, but that day even more so. I called the order in while on my way and the kind gentleman told me it would be about 15 minutes. It was less than that and they were prepared to perfection. I was greeted with a smile and I paid for my order and went home. This last picture is what my most recent order looked like. (The other ones are from before I thought I had posted them . Got here about 1130, right before the crowd. A friend and I shared boat A, subbed the muscles for mandoo. First, it looks different in the photo. The chicken comes chopped up and kinda dry. The mandoo was good, the assorted tempura was good, hot and crispy. The California roll was ok. We had to ask for wasabi and plates. The boat came with miso soup, there wasn't any tofu or seaweed to be found. The boat came with complimentary green tea ice cream but neither of us were fans. Overall, it was just ok. read more

Before even walking in, there were people including myself and boyfriend waiting to go in for lunch. It was our first time here and man when I say it was so darn good! It really was! I wish i could leave a 0. I never leave reviews, but today this place really disappointed me. We've been here before. Was one our favorites in the HD. However, today they FAILED. We got there around 4pm. Not busy. They took about 5 mins to take our order. The order never came out! Other ppl started to get there, they got their food. The party that was sitting next to us got their food. We waited about 40 mins and ppl that got there after us were being served, checked on and we got nothing! They were avoiding us. We tried to flag the waitress down and were ignored. We felt discriminated. I was so mad because I had my lil one who was hungry and waiting for his food that never came. My husband got upset and got up to ask and he was ignored. I will never go back there. Our business was as good as everyone else who was there. Terrible experience. When I arrived, I signed in as I saw many many tables available. I was with my sis and my newborn in the car seat. If you knew you know that car seats are heavy to carry. I stood there for about 10 minutes. Everyone meaning waitresses and whoever was on the clock just passed by me and not once acknowledge me or greet me. As if I was non existent, horrifying!!! It wasn't until I approached someone and asked what the wait time was. I was shocked when she said- There is no wait time. I had to let the front desk and waitresses know that this is not how you treat people. 0 for the hospitality that does not exist at this restaurant. I decided to stay because it was my sister's birthday and she requested sushi and that was the only sushi place nearby as I was visiting from LA. I thought the owner should know that his waitresses are what are ruining his business quality. I am now in the law field, but back in my college days when I worked at restaurants, I know how crucial for a business of this type the front desk and waitress is what will keep a customer returning. read more

We've spent close to $500-$600 here in the past week because we're traveling and vegan options are limited. Every single time we've ordered here, it's been vegan. They know this. Today, on our last day before a 16-hour drive home, I ordered what I believed was the vegan Green Monster Roll but called it the "Monster Roll," not realizing they had two nearly identical names--one vegan and one with fish. (Glad I checked before we hit the road!) Here's the issue: when a customer consistently orders vegan food and the entire order is vegan, a competent restaurant should clarify before putting fish in the order. Especially when the difference is literally animal vs. no animal. Instead, they made the fish roll. When we called, hoping for a reasonable solution, the response was cold and dismissive: reorder and pay again. No apology. No accountability. No attempt to fix their mistake or meet us halfway. For a restaurant that advertises vegan options, serving fish to vegans and then refusing to do anything about it is unacceptable. This wasn't just poor service--it was careless and greedy. Mistakes happen. Customer service is how you respond to them. This place failed completely. If you care about vegan food, basic competence, or being treated like a human instead of a wallet, go somewhere else. We won't be back. read more

I stopped in to place a to-go order, and the staff was so welcoming and kind from the moment I walked in. My food was ready in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. I tried three different rolls, one of them was the Monster Roll, and all three were delicious. The fish tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and everything was made with great care. And they have successfully changed their Eel sauce to a thick, darker more delicious sauce! Its my new close to home sushi. The spicy edamame is a must for starters. And their vegetable tempura with ponzu was fantastic. The bento box is amazing and avocado ball is perfect and I recently tried their tuna roll, added avocado with light rice and substituted soy paper as it is my preference. It was perfect. The venue is not big yet the servers were very attentive and polite. I ordered to go and enjoyed every part of my meal. I order Pot Stickers, Shrimp Tempura with the Dragon eggs as appetizers. Hands down the best sushi in the high desert! Linko has the best sushi chefs they are so friendly and very fast at getting the food out. Staff is always friendly as well. I like that the rolls aren't super massive and enable you to take a one piece bite without being gagged or the roll falling apart. Even tho the rolls aren't wide you still get a good amount of pieces per roll. The scallops here are amazing, so fresh! Also the mussels here are the best I've had in the entire desert. My husband & I have been here twice now & we love this place so much. We've tried the spicy edamame (so good) baked Alaskan roll, Cajun baby lobster roll, chicken yakisoba noodles (my fav) & chicken curry udon noodles. My husband has also had the beef short rib bento box which he loved as well as the pork cutlet bento box (that one he probably wouldn't get again because the pork was a little dry) but besides that everything else has been amazing. We've only had the baked rolls since I'm not a fan of raw fish but honestly some of those rolls look so good I may just have to step out of my bubble one day. The servers here are extremely friendly & attentive. They also give you complimentary ice cream after your meal! This restaurant exceeded my expectations! My dad talked me into going there (I don't eat seafood so I was very reluctant) and I'm so glad we went! The ambiance is very nice, the service was incredible, and the food was delicious! I got the beef yakisoba and it is now my favorite meal.
