HIDDEN GEM!!! As someone who is constantly traveling between California and Nevada fast food can get very tiring and are in need of a something better. Samurai sushi was definitely that spot for me and my bf. Walked in and immediately felt welcomed by the staff, the food portions were pretty large. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the inside of the restaurant was pretty small but very warming and very cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back again.

I will call this place the hidden gem of the High Desert. Service was excellent, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with kind and friendly hospitality! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was just wonderful, not only were they playing great music, they had a wonderful atmosphere which made it very comfortable and cozy, the walls are beautiful with photographs of the local community and it really shows they care about the people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ok enough rambling, now time to review the food and guys I must say...it was phenomenal!!! The chefs really have a talent for making sushi and the love is expressed through their food. If you're in the area and you're looking for a roll to start with, definitely try the Spicy Tataki Roll, the sear on that tuna is absolute chef's kiss.

We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and overall had a good experience with some highlights and a few small misses. We started with the miso soup very flavorful, though the tofu was a bit overcooked. The edamame was perfect. I ordered the rainbow roll and the fish itself was super fresh and very flavorful, but unfortunately the roll had a heavy rice-to-fish ratio, which made it a bit dry. On the other hand, the salmon belly sashimi was excellent thick cut, incredibly fresh, and easily one of the best items we had. Highly recommend that. My mom got the Superman burrito and really enjoyed it very good and huge portion. My fiancé ordered the cilantro roll and added lemon. Again, the fish was very fresh, but the roll was cut a bit too large and had too much rice, which threw off the balance and made it dry. My dad had the teriyaki lunch bowl and had no complaints at all said it was very flavorful and finished the entire dish. The staff and chefs were very nice, and they even brought us a complimentary fried jalapeño dish, which was surprisingly really good we'd definitely order that again. The ambiance was great nice décor and a very comfortable, welcoming vibe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The walls are covered with what looks like hundreds of photos of customers, which gives the place a fun, personal feel and makes it clear this is a well-loved local spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It felt relaxed and cozy, perfect for a family celebration or a laid-back dinner where you can actually enjoy the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Coming from San Diego, where high-quality sushi rolls are typically in the $13-$16 range, the pricing here felt especially steep. At nearly $20 per roll, expectations are naturally higher, and while the fish quality was very good, the value didn't always match the price particularly when some rolls were heavy on rice. It's still a solid spot, but at these prices, consistency and balance really matter. Great quality fish and friendly service. With a better rice-to-fish balance on some rolls, this place would be even better.

Next time you're headed back to LA from Vegas, make a pit stop over to Victorville's favorite sushi place: Samurai Sushi. Voted best sushi in the city and I can see why. We stopped over for lunch to try some of their great specials. Started off with the yellowtail sashimi topped with jalapeño, cilantro, and ponzu. Along with Peter's appetizer of fresh tuna wrapped with cucumber, sweet onion, and radish sprout. The Monday roll specials are on point. Ordered up the Alaska roll with the deep fried salmon on top and also the ninja roll. The portions were huge and full of flavor. For the main courses we picked up the lunch special udon with California roll, lunch special udon with sushi, and the salmon teriyaki with tempura. It's absolutely delicious and the best deal in town. Make sure you take a break from the traffic and fill up at Samurai Sushi in Victorville on your next trip.

Forgot the name roll. It was a Tuesday special with salmon

We were passing through Victorville and were blown away by the number of sushi spots in town. Decided to try Samurai Sushi. We were seated quickly, and our waitress was super cool--honestly, the whole staff had great vibes. We ordered a couple of sushi rolls, not realizing how massive they'd be! They were so big I could barely finish one and had to take the other back to the hotel. The taste, though, was just okay. The sushi rice was starting to get hard, which was a bit disappointing. While the service and portion sizes were impressive, the quality of the sushi itself didn't quite hit the mark for me. Probably won't be back next time I'm in town.

Don't let the outside of the restaurant deceive you. ITS REALLLLLY GOOD! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside has a very nice atmosphere and is very quaint and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is a very delicious, and very fresh. The chef made us a complementary, appetizer of shave, radish, and fried Fresno peppers. It was very delicious and one of the highlights of the evening. They gave us wonderful portions of food and great service. Everyone in there is very nice and kind. Highly recommend checking this place out with friends or family.

Family and I got a to go order and the time estimate was perfect. All of the extras we asked for remembered and packaged nicely. We got the rainbow roll (9 of 10) just a little too much rice but the flavor was great. Volcano roll (10 of 10) and salmon lovers combo (9 of 10) the maki had a bit too much rice to fish ratio but still buttery salmon and tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very small so don't bring a large party but the vibe is fun with all the pictures of patrons on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food is bomb asf and the service very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place if you were to share family or friends that never try sushi.

We ordered a baked white fish roll and a shrimp mania roll which were both pretty bland tasting. Honestly the presentation of the food was nice but most of the rolls are just fancied up California rolls. The rolls are huge and they fell apart when you pick them up. The teriyaki dinner was probably the only thing I enjoyed. The service was ok, waitress wasn't attentive and did not refill our drinks. It's a quiet restaurant but has a lot of people coming in.

I had a craving for sushi and seaweed salad, my child wanted udon noodles, so Samaritan sushi it was, they never disappoint. Tried the energy roll and it was amazing.

This place is really good, hands down one of the best sushi places I have been to. Like others have said please don't let the outside fool you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is very nice inside and the waitress are very polite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything was very fresh and tasted really good. I definitely recommend trying their teriyaki chicken bowl. I am not gonna lie this is probably one of the best chicken bowls I have had. Their rice was cooked perfect and their onions were sautéed really well. I would not underestimate the size of their sushi rolls either they are pretty big. I took like 5 Togo boxes home. You will not be disappointed coming here trust me. This is my go to sushi spot now 10/10 recommend.

Is this place all you can eat?

this restaurant is not an all-you-can-eat place. However, they do offer several great specials, including lunch specials, kids meals, and weekly roll specials for $14. On certain days, they also have a 6 rolls for $90 deal.…

Are they not taking phone orders anymore?

I tried to reach them last week to order and pick up and got no one. I then drove by and they were closed. It was a Wednesday and it was only 6pm.

I'm having trouble reaching them by phone. Is the phone not working anymore?

Same!!! I even tried the Hesperia location and nothing! What the heck?!

    Do they have AYCE?

No they don't but it's way worth the price!

    Do you sell gift cards?

Delectable meal. Of the highest earthly quality, fresh from the wombs of Da Nang. The expertise on…read morethe Pho is beyond incredible. The aroma, the texture, the broth brimming with flavor, the added toppings, all formed the concrete masterpiece of a Pho. But let's get into depth, because the paragraph above did not display the true depth of it's greatness. Let's say your friend recommended you a Vietnamese restaurant. You tried a few prior but most of them were mediocre. So you were hesitant but decided to give it a try. When you went up to the entrance, you took a half-a-second peek. The entire restaurant was clean like the slate of a canvas. Once you stepped inside, your nostrils embraced the fresh smell. Even before you could have the opportunity to take a good in-depth look around, that smell made you know everything. You knew it was going to be clean and sparkly, hygienic and orderly. You knew it was going to be a refreshing spot, and you were right! And afterwards, recovering from the intense first impression, you were greeted with welcoming staff, guided to a shiny wooden table, seated on a comfortable chair, and had the ability to choose from a menu filled with variety of meals worth slobbering your tongues over for. You looked at the menu, drool escaping your mouth, frothing perhaps? Whatever, what was important was that you saw utopia. The meals displayed as mere pictures and words already gave you a preview of near future delight, that increment, that sample was almost enough to satisfy the chimeras of your imagination, apart from the actual consumption of-course. Once you ordered, the pearly smile of the waiter inspired hope, like a promise your wishes were to be fulfilled, and there, you dallied with the scenarios. You dallied with how you would greet your meal, that good good Pho... how you would approach it, shake it's hand with the tips of your chopsticks, and slurp it up. You fiddled with your thoughts for quite some time! But suddenly, there! Here she was walking towards you, the same waiter. After 10 minutes of anticipation, the relentless tapping of the leg excited for it's treat, you finally received it. Boxed into a clean bowl, you got to whiff the contents. You prepared your sticks, and dived right into it! Headfirst! The long noodles were whirled into your mouth, you could feel the slimy texture. The smell of the broth, the taste of the broth, the pork, the toppings, the little onions, it was heaven on earth and you witnessed it first hand! After a while, you finished the bowl. You devoured the last pieces, and poured the rest of the broth into your mouth. You took a napkin and wiped your pho-broth-smothered lips and gave a "whoo!" expressing your content. You paid the bill and gave a 15$ tip and walked slowly out the restaurant, taking your time just to slowly hug the smell of your beloved diner, as if it was goodbye. Your hands reached the door handle, a tear welled up in your eye as you gave a quick look back. There was the waiter, there was your ex-table, there was the rest of the smiling staff and the enjoying guests. You mouthed "farewell" and took a step back into the real world, free from the dreams of cuisine. "Will I ever get to see you again?" You heard yourself utter. That was my experience. As you can see. Thank you for everything To Pho.

I said, yes of course. I don't do much homecooking except for the basic stuff. I have attempted special home-cooked dishes in the past, but nowadays I ask myself, why spend energy, resouces, and time on a few okay dishes when we can pay the professionals for better tasting dishes and spend that time elsewhere on fun things LOL. For those passionate cooks who loves homecooking, all the power to you and when should I be over?... I'll bring dessert (store bought of course) LOL. I am waiting for the universe to send me a true soulmate who cooks... I will be more than happy to be their sous chef LOL. Kidding aside or not LOL... let's get back to this review... We got 3 entrees... overall, they were all good. The beef and chicken were tender. Veggies were very fresh and love the broccoli + cabbage combo. Seafood could have been more though. The only other thing was the teriyaki sauce flavor. It was too light and watery... needs to be thicker, heavier, and tastier. If you would like, you can ask for more sauces either on the entree or on the side. 1 Beef & Chicken Yakisoba 1 Seafood Yakisoba (shrimp, salmon, and scallop) 1 Shrimp & Chicken Rice Staff was pleasant. Cooks were okay. Line was very short from cashier to cooks so it can be a little squishy between customers unless the line shifts to the left away from the cashier. Prices are higher than before, but what isn't nowadays. We'll still return to Kobe when we're craving teriyaki foods. Hopefully, their teriyaki sauce would have improved by then. Happy Kobe'ing!
