Ordered through Door Dash. Came with a broken container. Was it served like this or from delivery?

Ordered four rolls through door dash. My monster roll came with a broken container. The pieces were not in the bag nor in the meal. Not sure why this would be ok if it was placed like this by the restaurant.

I needed to go across the street from my hotel and that's when I saw this little sushi restaurant. I decided to stop in for a quick bite and I was so pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. The ambiance when you first arrive is like walking into a little garden...so quaint! My server was very friendly and attentive. She answered all my questions about the menu and also allowed me time to look over the menu as well. I ordered the Spicy Crunchy Crunch Roll, this is from the Tempura Rolls section and trust me it did not disappoint! I just hope that I'll have time to eat here again!

I have frequented Love Oasis since moving to the High Desert area a year ago. As I often do I like to make friends with the people and places I frequent. I have to say, what I've come to learn about Oasis is the owner, cooks, sushi chefs, and servers genuinely care about the service they provide to both their regulars, and anyone else who walks in the door. Every greeting begins with, "irasshaimase!" Translated as a proper/polite or honorific verb of "welcome in/here," in Japanese. I don't do this often, but I have to mention specifically some of the great staff at this little sushi restaurant in the desert. The two best sushi chefs I've had are Justin and Aaron. (Don't try to understand what Aaron is saying, but he will make a mean roll when you ask). Of course if you are looking for attentive, and service with a smile, you will always get is with Sydney and Lani. One cannot forget the backbone in the back, Ana the cook. When you are craving that ramen or gyoza, she always comes through. Last but not least, this place has such a great atmosphere because the tedious and meticulous musings of its owner. With a background in design and a family history of presenting sushi in its finest, they absolutely cannot go wrong. Keep it up Oasis. You will forever be my favorite high desert sushi restaurant. And it should be yours too.

Here is my honest and unbiased opinion. If you plan on making friends with the manager/owner/cashier??? to occasionally pound a sujo bottle with while she's on the clock, I would suggest this place I suppose. Came here after running some errands; I don't know if it's because I am originally from LA or this place just lacks lots of attention to detail. The waitress allowed customers to seat wherever they'd like which I thought was pretty cool until a couple with two kids arrived and wanted to sit by the bar they were then asked to sit somewhere else after that their kids were served their drinks in beer mugs (just an observation I thought was a bit ironic) It took a while for my waitress to ask me what I would like to drink, then after my food came out I then had to ask her for utensils. At first I thought it was my server's inadequate service but I was completely wrong. The manger/hiring manager is the one at fault. Your servers are a reflection of your business. The manager was taking shots of soju with almost every customer in the restaurant. Maybe I felt some type of way because she didn't offer me any lol jk. On a more serious note, it made me very uneasy to enjoy myself whilst having this lady walking & hoping up and down her seat as she took shots and over shared stories of her "friends" (actual customers of this establishment). Personally me I wouldn't let this lady know the color of my socks because I guarantee the entire high desert would know within 2-3 business days. When I ordered I asked for yellowtail as a substitution for my sushi. The manager lady then loudly tells my waitress, "Yellow tail is a really expensive fish so you need to tell her that it's going to be a $3 charge for the substitution", my waitress then comes up to me to share this with me, I then responded, "I know I heard her." Absolutely so rude! She could have whispered it to her and not have been so obnoxious. Clearly unprofessional. Finally as I was getting ready to pay; this hiring manger lady rings me up. I pay with apple pay. After my transaction goes through, she then says "oh our system went down", I proceed to show her on my receipt on my phone that it went through. I understand this part a bit just because I know how unreliable technology can be. Omg almost forgot to mention when I was brought my sushi my server didn't bring me a tsukemono (the small soy sauce dish) so she brought me a plate and after I was already done with my food; I see the manager lady bring out a tsukemono dish for another customer. Don't know what that was all about. (And yes I did in fact have $3 dollars to pay for the yellowtail) I am guessing all these positive reviews must come from the people that come here to drink. My suggestion would be stop focusing so much on drinking and being invested in everyone else's personal life & put all that effort into training your staff. Hope this helps!

Gross dry edamame definitely microwaved for too long or something

I received some rly gross and dry edamame and was told I couldn't get it taken off the check because she needed a "manager password" which she didn't have. What would she have done if she accidentally put in my order wrong? Would I have had to pay for extra food bc she didn't have a manager password? I bet she would have called them or something in that case. The salmon nigiri was great but this just made my experience kinda off putting

Ramen

I ordered their ramen and a baked sushi with crawfish and I was underwhelmed. The baked sushi was overcooked and hard and ramen was super salty and no egg. Usually I expect some garnished and egg on ramen but it looked and tasted like it came out of a package. I would suggest to the owners that they treat their food with a little more TLC. Tasted thrown together.

Was passing through town and wanted something fresh so we found the only sushi spot within 30 miles. Thankfully, it not only blew me out of the water, but exceeded my expectations! Our favorite rolls were the Baked Salmon and the Heart Stopper (pictured). Will be coming back!

Hubby and I were a little hesistant to try this place because of low rating but I read this place is under new management so we decided to give it a try. I must say its a good sushi place for being in HD. Customer service was prompt and place was smalll but clean. Their sushi portions are huge and the bento box is a good deal. I hope they stay consistent and stay great! Definitely recommend when craving for sushi!

Food was ready on time. And greeted with a warm smile on a cold day. And all the tables was full. Now that's saying something.

I ordered the soft tofu soup with pork think of a pozole infused with Asian cuisine it's rich and warms your whole body.. I will be going back for more of that soup. We ordered the spicy pork it's was tender with a variety of flavors and textures with a refreshing salad and white rice delicious the only item I was not impressed with no fault to the chef was the chicken katsu it was dry but I have never had any luck with chicken katsu. The food comes with complimentary sides and a Vietnamese pancake. Also don't sleep on there water I know that sounds crazy I am a diet Coke girly through and through but there water was so clean crisp and cold I never order my Diet Coke. But like I say give it a try then you decide.

The restaurant itself is quiet, relaxed, and clean enough. Staff is really friendly and welcoming. They pretty much leave you alone, which I usually love, but it can be a little difficult to get a hold of someone if you want to order more. The food is great! The side dishes taste fresh, and all the main dishes come out piping hot. The seafood pancake leaves a little to be desired, but the soups and noodles are flavorful and filling. I definitely want to return to try more dishes. I love that we have a local Korean spot that is actually worth my time and money - saves me a drive down the hill when the craving hit

I love this place! Have been twice in the last two weeks. The first visit I had shrimp fried rice…read moreand crunchy tofu. Both were great! I normally do not like fried or grilled tofu but this was different. Nice crunch on the outside and super creamy on the inside. They have a pink sauce in little packets and it is really good on the crunchy tofu. Not too sweet and just the right flavor. I also had a mango green tea with Boba. Of course it was delicious just the right amount of mango but it was sweet. The second time I visited I tried the shrimp chow mein and the crunchy tofu again and I tried peach black tea with Boba. The tea was delicious and sweet but really nice. I'm not sure how you could make that horrible. The shrimp chow mein was just OK to me. The noodles seemed gummy and I'm not used to that. We also had the sautéed gyoza. The first batch came out burnt, but they were very nice and very accommodating when we brought them back and they brought us another order that was perfect and delicious. By the way we ordered vegetarian Gyoza and it was surprisingly good. I have also had the Ramen at this restaurant and it is also excellent . Many choices and they're really good about cooking what you need. This is not a fancy place but the food is great and the girls at the order desk are really sweet!

I hate to write this, but my first time there will be the last. I ordered the Orange Chicken Rice…read moreBowl and asked if I could have fried rice instead of steamed rice. No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.
