Potentially be our new go-to sushi restaurant in the high desert! My dad absolutely loves rolls - I prefer nigiri or sashimi, but went ahead and ordered takeout to share for dinner the other night, and to my surprise, Linko Sushi was pretty good! We got the Shrimp Lover (loved the shrimp tempura inside - very crispy), Amigo (I ordered thinking the Yellowtail would be good, but it wasn't so fresh - my least favorite), Monster (very similar to Shrimp Lover, but with fried salmon on top), and Shooting Star (my favorite out of the four - had shrimp, tuna, and avocado). Miso soup is not included when you order rolls. Also, ask for extra packets of soy sauce! The staff only included 2 packets of soy sauce when we ordered 4 rolls. I mean, I'm not asking for a dozen packets, but come on, only 2?? read more

A Friday afternoon visit. You enter, write your name on the list, and wait in their small waiting area which has two benches. There was a fair amount of customers, but restaurant was only half full. When we entered, the sushi chef's give a yelling greet from the back and the waitstaff didn't address us until we got seated. We waited ten minutes. We were seated at a table that could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Crumbs that were on the table had been wiped and left on the seats. Looking over the menu, there are a lot of options. We focused on the rolls section and ordered 3 rolls. It was supposed to be a start, but we had difficulty finishing them. The rolls are a decent size, with rice not being excessively used, but they were incredibly salty. We typically like to eat sushi with soy sauce but stopped dipping after the first couple of bites. To help clear our palate, ginger had to be eaten after each bite and our drinks were depleted quickly with refills needed. The salt level in the Cajun baby lobster and the firecracker roll left us really thirsty. Maybe it was a slight of hand or we chose our rolls poorly. We were happy to have been given some complimentary green tea ice cream with chocolate sauce drizzled on top. read more

I eat a WFPB diet almost exclusively and I still want to enjoy dining at a sushi restaurant from time to time. My vegetable roll was so colorful and so delicious! Sushi done right! Came here on a whim on Christmas on my way back through to Los Angeles ! Hefty portions and friendly staff! The me was incredible, by far the best sushi I have had in a long time!! I love the food here. The dishes are both beautiful and delicious. The servers are friendly. It gets crowded,so be patient to get seated. The food never takes long to come to the table. Changes my rating from 5 stars to one. 5 years ago this place was truly the best sushi place I had ever been, I travel a lot and it was hands down the best. Then they got bought portions went way way down the price went slightly down the atmosphere got nicer. I went back a few times because I was disappointed in the reduced quality. I have not been there once where a waitress or waiter check on us since. Out of water ready for more order No one comes by. Well once in awhile I like to stop by see if there is improvement but tonight the yellow tail was so bad I almost puked. It was so gross and it is my go to everywhere. I will never be going back. Not until they find there roots again. I suggest hiring the old owner and consulting on how to have quality and good service. read more

I was sitting next to a small mountain of empty cardboard boxes located on the chairs. The service was friendly, but a bit on the slow side. We had to ask for refills and to have our table cleared off multiple times. The sushi was tasty, but my wife didn't enjoy her teriyaki beef bento lunch. The worst sushi I ever tasted. I spit every bite out. Now I lived up in hd 40 years. Sushi is my thing and if I ever had a bad experience this is the first for sushi. The tuna was not fresh and seemed salted with odor. The cucumber and veggies in rolls had foul taste like been in water for awhile. I should demand my money back but im sure they would not go that far. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've never had to update a review before, but after today's visit, I have to. Went in for lunch, arrived around 12:45, busy, understandably for a Saturday at lunch time. When you enter you now have to add your name to the wait list, 3 people ahead of me so no big deal. Sat there... people left, they sat a couple in front of us... more people left, they sat the next group... more people left, more people left, more people left. At this point we'd been sitting there for 35 minutes so we ask the lady behind the register how much longer she thinks it will be and she responds with "I don't know, I already have 6 tables and the other ladies only have one, let me ask" so we go back to waiting and then the rudest waitress walks over, looks at the list, which now has multiple people under us, and says "I can seat you now" in the RUDEST tone, so we all stand up and she points to a table and goes "that one". Didn't even seat us or anything. So we sit and she walks up and asks what we want to drink, still being unbelievably rude in her tone of voice and facial expressions, we order two waters and a hot tea, she brings it and goes "it's hot" and promptly sets it down and walks away. At this point she had to have know she was being extremely rude and we were just taking it in, like is this really happening. I believe another waitress witnessed this all happening and she came over in the other woman's place to take our order and serve us instead. While observing this woman, she was the same way to multiple tables in the restaurant at this time. The food itself was just as delicious as ever, but with this new atmosphere, it's hard to think we will take our business there again. Food 5 stars, service 4.8stars. Ambiance overall 5 stars. I love this place. I love the sushi. The only small complaint I have is that when the have people in a waiting list they seem to always loose track of who's next they do accommodate if you're over looked but with a little more communication that hiccup can be solved. I still recommend linko and definitely plan on going again. read more

Nope nope and nooope the people are rude and you get very little food for what you pay.... and when you mention it there really rude I'm going to Poke across the street over by Starbucks their food is fabulous .... you get a bunch it's fresh and authentic and it's delicious with his sauces they definitely feed you and their boba drinks over there are amazing.....
