Chicken, Beef, Vegetable Teriyaki Bowl.
Jeanne W.

There are days when I like to keep the interpersonal interactions to a minimum. That means fast food with a drive-thru is perfect on those days that I feel particularly introverted. A1 Grill Teriyaki & Roll fits the bill. One can get Asian comfort food while safe and cozy within the confines of one's automobile. The Chicken, Beef, and Veggie Teriyaki Bowl is tasty. No surprises here. This will be a very familiar teriyaki bowl. The sauce is sweet with just the right amount of saltiness. The bowl comes with an extra container of sauce just in case. The vegetables, consisting of broccoli, carrots, and cabbage, are steamed from fresh. That is a plus. No frozen veggies here. The chicken and beef are nicely grilled, tender, and flavorful. The pieces were chopped to bite sized so the proteins will be easy to manage. Steamed rice is a nice balanced amount so no worries regarding an outrageous carb portion size. All in all, a good teriyaki bowl to hit the spot. There are also sushi rolls on the menu to try next time. The service was fast and polite. A definite return trip in the future.

Chicken teriyaki bowl

Updated review: owner doesn't care about any comments or customers. Service improved but there portions did get smaller. Taste of food is good, but they changed the eggs rolls to the cheap kind. Still changing extra for items that should be fee. 1sauce per bowl and always half empty, .50/1.00 charge for extra. If you're spending this much money these items should be free. $55/$75 for a family of 4/5 is the same price you'd spend at chilis! Only convenience is that you can take it home and not a long wait. NEW OWNER needs to stop being so greedy, old owner didn't charge for these items and better value/customer service.

This is my first time coming to this I am really not satisfied with the portion that was promoted on the sales picture of menu. Not only was I unsatisfied with the portion sizing, but also my food was cold, I had to ask the cashier if she can reheat my food due to the fact that it was cold not a good start. Definitely will second-guess about coming here again.

Decent chicken bowls and beef bowls pretty cheap in price. Would recommend if you want something healthier than greasy fast food.

They took our order about 15 minutes after we sat down. The mood is all about food. It has a cluster of smells when we entered in. Like cooked veggies. I ordered the roasted duck Al a mode, chicken, sizzling soup, and garlic bread. A coconut shrimp appetizer was also ordered. Don't get me wrong it looks like we were blasted back in time maybe the end of the 70's mixed with the end of the 80's with the hint of the beginning of the 90's. Although there's a mingling of different years within their restaurant don't get me wrong, It's comfortable. The shrimp is coconutty and arrived 15 minutes after we ordered it and it was fired well.. it's been 45 minutes and we wait for the soup, the chicken in the sizzling rice soup is great. The rice is authentically cooked. And it's good. High praise for the chicken sizzling rice soup. The garlic bread was served with the soup, it was just enough to collect a little soupy soup and make it to my belly welly. The duck was fatter than I remember. The parts of duck with the crunchy skin was awesome, the parts of the duck that didn't have crunchy skins, had more fat and the skin was flaccid and hard to eat and softer than I am accustomed to eating. We ordered a cream brûlée and it was the optimal choice for dessert. Wish it was hot inside but, that's just a dream. This place is a hidden gem. If you haven't tried good service and high end food you should give Chateau Chang a try. I give it 5 stars because the staff was sweet and nice. And the food is between good and great! Worth a 5 stars review they earned. We spent 92 dollars. We were here about an hour and 45 minutes. So plan accordingly. Have a great one yelpers.

I love this place! Have been twice in the last two weeks. The first visit I had shrimp fried rice…read moreand crunchy tofu. Both were great! I normally do not like fried or grilled tofu but this was different. Nice crunch on the outside and super creamy on the inside. They have a pink sauce in little packets and it is really good on the crunchy tofu. Not too sweet and just the right flavor. I also had a mango green tea with Boba. Of course it was delicious just the right amount of mango but it was sweet. The second time I visited I tried the shrimp chow mein and the crunchy tofu again and I tried peach black tea with Boba. The tea was delicious and sweet but really nice. I'm not sure how you could make that horrible. The shrimp chow mein was just OK to me. The noodles seemed gummy and I'm not used to that. We also had the sautéed gyoza. The first batch came out burnt, but they were very nice and very accommodating when we brought them back and they brought us another order that was perfect and delicious. By the way we ordered vegetarian Gyoza and it was surprisingly good. I have also had the Ramen at this restaurant and it is also excellent . Many choices and they're really good about cooking what you need. This is not a fancy place but the food is great and the girls at the order desk are really sweet!

I hate to write this, but my first time there will be the last. I ordered the Orange Chicken Rice…read moreBowl and asked if I could have fried rice instead of steamed rice. No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.
