This spot is local to my house, so I've been here a handful of times. Food comes out fast, service could improve, but it's always busy here, which is a good thing! They have plenty of seating, it's a bit loud with kitchen noises, music, and the patrons that visit. I come for the pho, I have tried the shrimp spring rolls but I personally don't like the shredded cabbage. I tried the egg rolls and they were nice and crunchy. Would get those again. The boba drinks are also tasty and made to order.

    Creamy Coconut Thai Tea

I was very disappointed during my last visit. I live around the corner so this is my go to pho spot and consider myself a very loyal customer. Today I went for pho and tea with my friend like I usually do. My friend ordered the creamy coconut Thai tea and it tasted like dirty soap water. I loved this place so I kindly asked for a remake and they refused but shouted it across the restaurant which attracted many stares. I paid and left the drink there. Pho Kobe is gonna be my new spot after this experience, definitely recommend them instead. Also attached is a photo of the manager laid back with her feet on the table where mobile orders are stored.

Went here with a buddy an hour or so before closing. Can be kind of confusing when you walk in if you've never ordered here before -- there's a big line going up to the counter. That's the take out line. If you want to dine in, just go sit at a table and someone will come give you a menu. Probably. Biggest problem with this place was service. They had two waiters and not a whole lot of table checkins. We were here for about an hour and had someone stop by after food to see if we wanted another beer one time. Asked for my check, waiter seemed displeased with that slightly, brought the check and then immediately went on break and had a bowl of noodles a few tables over. I had immediately put my card in the check folder but it sat there for 10+ minutes till I waived another waiter down. Service is meh at best. Food was good. Got the pork bahn mi (they call it Vietnamese Sandwiches) and a bowl of Special Pho. Some of the Phos are $25-28, not really a good value in my opinion but the $14-16 bowls are a good value and taste great. Make sure to ask for some chilie seasoning to up your spice game. Ambiance is nothing special, lot of tables and booths jammed together with salt of the earth people eating good food. Worth a shot, just get to go or don't be shy about flagging servers down.

Vermicelli with 44. Stir-Fry Shrimp Lemon Grass

This restaurant is nice and clean, it gives a family friendly feel as soon as you walk through the door. You are able to sit anywhere you'd like, and as soon as you are seated you are brought water and a menu. The food here is a 10 out of 10. I go for places that really make my tastebuds dance and this is one of them. They have a very good broth to their soups. The vermicelli noodles are delightful and light on a hot summers day as well. I also can get enough of their drinks. They are just as pretty in person as they are on the photos. True to size and the flavors are spot on fantastic! As I visited three times before writing this recipe I also saw the consistency in their dishes. I highly recommend dropping by with family or on a date. The food will definitely put you in a great if not already good mood!

I can't say enough about this establishment, just know that if you want Photos is the place to go. Great food, good service, clean and decorative place

Honestly, I walked in and was turned off by the ambiance. The restaurant was empty but there were some dirty dishes on the tables. Two ladies sat in the corner with their shoes off wrapping forks and spoons with a rubber band and throwing them in a box. Other workers sat refilling sauce jars. I looked at the menu and nothing screamed out but I saw the shrimp spring rolls and decided to try something small. The rolls consisted of lots of lettuce, cabbage and two shrimp split to make four pieces. After three bites of lettuce, I finally tasted the shrimp. If you minimize the ingredients with spring rolls, what else are you keeping from your dishes??

    So much OIL

My microwave almost exploded‼‼ There was an inch of oil covering the top of my pho. When I put it in the microwave it began popping and exploding. I took it out and put the toppings and there was so much oil it began deep frying the onions. BEWARE! They give you a microwave safe bowl but the soup will explode. Please be careful with this pho place‼

Delectable meal. Of the highest earthly quality, fresh from the wombs of Da Nang. The expertise on…read morethe Pho is beyond incredible. The aroma, the texture, the broth brimming with flavor, the added toppings, all formed the concrete masterpiece of a Pho. But let's get into depth, because the paragraph above did not display the true depth of it's greatness. Let's say your friend recommended you a Vietnamese restaurant. You tried a few prior but most of them were mediocre. So you were hesitant but decided to give it a try. When you went up to the entrance, you took a half-a-second peek. The entire restaurant was clean like the slate of a canvas. Once you stepped inside, your nostrils embraced the fresh smell. Even before you could have the opportunity to take a good in-depth look around, that smell made you know everything. You knew it was going to be clean and sparkly, hygienic and orderly. You knew it was going to be a refreshing spot, and you were right! And afterwards, recovering from the intense first impression, you were greeted with welcoming staff, guided to a shiny wooden table, seated on a comfortable chair, and had the ability to choose from a menu filled with variety of meals worth slobbering your tongues over for. You looked at the menu, drool escaping your mouth, frothing perhaps? Whatever, what was important was that you saw utopia. The meals displayed as mere pictures and words already gave you a preview of near future delight, that increment, that sample was almost enough to satisfy the chimeras of your imagination, apart from the actual consumption of-course. Once you ordered, the pearly smile of the waiter inspired hope, like a promise your wishes were to be fulfilled, and there, you dallied with the scenarios. You dallied with how you would greet your meal, that good good Pho... how you would approach it, shake it's hand with the tips of your chopsticks, and slurp it up. You fiddled with your thoughts for quite some time! But suddenly, there! Here she was walking towards you, the same waiter. After 10 minutes of anticipation, the relentless tapping of the leg excited for it's treat, you finally received it. Boxed into a clean bowl, you got to whiff the contents. You prepared your sticks, and dived right into it! Headfirst! The long noodles were whirled into your mouth, you could feel the slimy texture. The smell of the broth, the taste of the broth, the pork, the toppings, the little onions, it was heaven on earth and you witnessed it first hand! After a while, you finished the bowl. You devoured the last pieces, and poured the rest of the broth into your mouth. You took a napkin and wiped your pho-broth-smothered lips and gave a "whoo!" expressing your content. You paid the bill and gave a 15$ tip and walked slowly out the restaurant, taking your time just to slowly hug the smell of your beloved diner, as if it was goodbye. Your hands reached the door handle, a tear welled up in your eye as you gave a quick look back. There was the waiter, there was your ex-table, there was the rest of the smiling staff and the enjoying guests. You mouthed "farewell" and took a step back into the real world, free from the dreams of cuisine. "Will I ever get to see you again?" You heard yourself utter. That was my experience. As you can see. Thank you for everything To Pho.

I've got it from true ethnic family own locations my whole life. I took the chance at trying "thePHO" and first impressions of the place are a little lacking. Normal ordering process, language is all in English on the menu which I usually take with a gain of salt when it comes to judging a place. Got my normal rare beef pho which is a safe bet when trying new places. Along with the shrimp spring rolls. Spring rolls came out, no fishy smell and were nice and chilled. Regular side spread arranged before Pho was brought out. At first glance it appeared normal. Added my lime and chili oil, yes they have it just ask, took a sip of the broth and yeah this place is good. Not the best but definitely will satisfy your pho cravings. Overall phood was good but restaurant could use a nice deep clean.

The different seasonings they offer for their chicken wings are all delicious - try the bulgogi soy sauce if you want a savory flavor and the honey butter if you want a sweeter flavor. One thing they've mastered is keeping their chicken CRISPY. They have a few different drink options. You can grab some shelf-stable Asian snacks if you visit in store.
