This was the rude lady who treated us so badly .
    Maria Fatima V.

The manager emailed me regarding my previous review and she's very nice giving me 2 complimentary dishes. Actually I have never expected any response from my review because I just flex to ease the feeling of disappointment. Anyway, I went today to avail the complimentary dishes and of course to see how the server react this time. A different server took my order and she was very nice. While she's taking my order the lady who I had issue with came and tried to help out the server on how to put in the complimentary dishes. She was calmer this time but never look at me or showed any signs that she was sorry .she just completely ignored me. Anyway , she seemed change from how she was and hopefully it's for good. Nowadays being in food business or any kind of business you should be nice and kind to customers to keep them because in my opinion no matter how good the food but if the treatment and service is bad then I will never come and eat in that restaurant.

It's been years since my last visit. Do I regret coming back? Unequivocally yes. My first visit the restaurant felt dirty, the floors were greasy and thenPho was not that good. The appearance is very much improved but the Pho..... The worst I've had. All I tasted was salt and the vermicelli somehow was almost soggy. Let's not forget the rare beef. I always assumed this meat was mignon but there is not way. This meat was chewy and did not look at all like what I expected. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how the one lemon slice and two meager slices of jalapeno looked like they were prepared a day or two before. The basil was ok but also very stingy portion and I really needed it to combat the salty brine in the Pho. Chilli oil has to be requested. No umami just salt. I guess I'll try again in another 10 10 years... Or maybe not. The service was fine, it was just the food. Maybe they just are not good at making Pho. In my opinion Pho Saigon is leagues better.

    Very short straw

I had a very negative experience at this restaurant on January 9. I especially disliked the service. Since I work as a mechanic, I have to wear work clothes during lunch. Perhaps the cashier didn't like this, as she was so unfriendly and spoke with such disdain that it was clearly noticeable. The food was also served strangely. I ordered appetizer soup and dessert. They brought me dessert first, then I had to wait for the soup, and only after we finished the soup did they finally bring the appetizer. The quality of the food also leaves much to be desired. The pho had a very salty broth. The spoons they serve with the soup are straight and don't have hooks on the ends, so the soup constantly slips off, which is very inconvenient. The smoothie had such a short straw that I had to leave 1/3 of it in the glass. We were very disappointed with the service we received and the quality of the food we ordered.

Today is the first time I get Pho to dine in. It's sooo much better than take out. Maybe cause it's not as hot when it gets home or cause I can't make it the same. Either way it was delicious. Don't understand the bad ratings. Broth was delicious and it hit the spot. Wish I could show you a before picture. But heres the after.

2 Pieces of Spring Roll. The VERY BLAND spring rolls! Even if a little salt, none at all.

We were craving for some Pho and saw this place. So we tried and not mind about the reviews of other people. We went here last week and that was a very long tiring day for my family and I and wanted to have some comfort food. But it turned out pretty bad, the Cashier lady was not welcoming at all, it's like she doesn't want to cater us. We tried to seek her advice on whats their best seller but she didn't answer us, instead just stared at us like shes judging us. My husband was very pissed and just ordered what we think is good. We ordered 2 bowls of Pho, it was good at first but then we felt that it was very loaded with MSG. After we ate, we don't feel good. My nose was itchy and no matter how many bottles of water we consumed we were still thirsty. Goodness! Then we ordered the Vietnamese rolls which were okay BUT the Spring rolls WAS SOOOOO BLAND! Like no taste at all. We were very disappointed. The place was quite clean tho but the ambiance is not welcoming. It lacks customer service and I hope they will lessen the MSG. Aint gonna come back for sure

No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.

I normally do not like fried or grilled tofu but this was different. Nice crunch on the outside and super creamy on the inside. They have a pink sauce in little packets and it is really good on the crunchy tofu. Not too sweet and just the right flavor. I also had a mango green tea with Boba. Of course it was delicious just the right amount of mango but it was sweet. The second time I visited I tried the shrimp chow mein and the crunchy tofu again and I tried peach black tea with Boba. The tea was delicious and sweet but really nice. I'm not sure how you could make that horrible. The shrimp chow mein was just OK to me. The noodles seemed gummy and I'm not used to that. We also had the sautéed gyoza. The first batch came out burnt, but they were very nice and very accommodating when we brought them back and they brought us another order that was perfect and delicious. By the way we ordered vegetarian Gyoza and it was surprisingly good. I have also had the Ramen at this restaurant and it is also excellent . Many choices and they're really good about cooking what you need. This is not a fancy place but the food is great and the girls at the order desk are really sweet!

I walked into the restaurant for the first time while observing the menu, I observed two female workers hanging over the food counter toward the back where the cooks are at. Not even a bar has that bad of music. It was rap and cussing, and just flat out disgusting music. I looked around and then I headed back towards the door, and walked out. Please don't go into that place and definitely don't bring any children. The owner should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such disgusting vulgarity in a place of business.

They took our order about 15 minutes after we sat down. The mood is all about food. It has a cluster of smells when we entered in. Like cooked veggies. I ordered the roasted duck Al a mode, chicken, sizzling soup, and garlic bread. A coconut shrimp appetizer was also ordered. Don't get me wrong it looks like we were blasted back in time maybe the end of the 70's mixed with the end of the 80's with the hint of the beginning of the 90's. Although there's a mingling of different years within their restaurant don't get me wrong, It's comfortable. The shrimp is coconutty and arrived 15 minutes after we ordered it and it was fired well.. it's been 45 minutes and we wait for the soup, the chicken in the sizzling rice soup is great. The rice is authentically cooked. And it's good. High praise for the chicken sizzling rice soup. The garlic bread was served with the soup, it was just enough to collect a little soupy soup and make it to my belly welly. The duck was fatter than I remember. The parts of duck with the crunchy skin was awesome, the parts of the duck that didn't have crunchy skins, had more fat and the skin was flaccid and hard to eat and softer than I am accustomed to eating. We ordered a cream brûlée and it was the optimal choice for dessert. Wish it was hot inside but, that's just a dream. This place is a hidden gem. If you haven't tried good service and high end food you should give Chateau Chang a try. I give it 5 stars because the staff was sweet and nice. And the food is between good and great! Worth a 5 stars review they earned. We spent 92 dollars. We were here about an hour and 45 minutes. So plan accordingly. Have a great one yelpers.
