My wife and I absolutely love this place. We've tried the beef skewers, pho, banh mi, and pad see ew and hands down, the pad see ew is our favorite. It has that delicious wok hei flavor that's so hard to get right, and it's so good that we order it every single time we come. My wife is a big fan of the beef skewers. We're not exactly sure why they have that red color, but honestly, we don't even question it anymore because they're that good. The pho is solid and tastes pretty standard, served with the usual sauces you'll find on most tables, which is always comforting. Their drinks are also really good and come out super fast. I wanted to like To Pho, but the pho fell short, mainly because of the broth. I ordered a large, and it was dominated by a thin, under-seasoned broth with very few noodles and scarce meat. For a large bowl, the balance felt off. The broth itself tasted flat and one-dimensional -- no richness, no real aromatics, and none of the layered depth you expect from good pho. Even after adding lime, herbs, hoisin, and sriracha, it never came together. The broth just didn't have enough body or character to carry the bowl. The spring rolls were springy and didn't taste particularly fresh. Service was lackadaisical at best -- slow and inattentive without being outright rude. On top of that, slow, overly intimate "baby-making" music played the entire time, which felt awkward and out of place for a casual pho spot. I'm open to giving places a second chance, but based on this visit, both the food and overall experience missed the mark. read more

To Pho always hits hard. We ordered the egg rolls with shrimp and pork (10 of 10) to start. My wife got the brisket pho regular sized (10 of 10) and I got the brisket, steak, and tendon pho (10 of 10). The Thai tea was so tasty and not too diluted. The service definitely left a lot to be desired, normally we get to go but decided to dine in this time. Our waitress was kind but not attentive. Didn't refill beverages or check on us after dropping off our food (6 of 10). The owners ended up taking over service for our table. The vibe is about standard for a quick delicious dinner. There were a few tables with leftover food sitting after the patrons had left. Overall, this is one of our favorite pho spots in the High Desert but we'll probably stick to Togo orders. Thought I do an updated review. I came here today just for their Chab Leang dessert. It's loaded with shaved ice, jello, fruits such as jackfruit, taro, tiny dried banana, and so much more goodness. It wasn't too sweet like it used to be. I would have preferred it a tad sweeter IMHO. Nevertheless, it was still a so very refreshingly tasty drink! The gentleman who took my order was very nice and pleasant. The Chab Leang was $7.50 plus tax totaling $8.08. He was gracious to accept my 4 rolls of nickels as form of payment. One of my go-to places for Vietnamese. I like the grilled beef skewers here. Very flavorful. It comes with a clear broth and a fish based sauce for dipping. The steamed rice was very fluffy. I tried the fried calamari as an appetizer. It was pretty good, the coating was crispy and the squid was tender with a very slight chewiness. This comes with a sweet chili dipping sauce. I've had their combination pho here before. It is very tasty and highly recommended. They have a very good version of egg rolls, too. The egg rolls are crispy and generous with the filling. Don't miss these as an appetizer. The Vietnamese iced coffee is good here, too. They also have a pea flower drink which is a pretty white and blue color. The flavor of pea flower is not easily described. I do not know if I care much for the flavor but definitely try this beverage once if you haven't had it before. The dining room is pleasant. They can accommodate larger parties. I never had issue with the service here. The waitstaff is polite and efficient. There is a button to press if you need anything but don't expect too much hovering. The waitress did ask me how my food is. This is our go-to pho place in the high desert. Even though there's a pho restaurant that's only a 3-minute drive from my house, I don't mind driving 15 minutes for better quality pho. Had the pho bo vien. Split the Cha Gio with my guest. She had the Pad Thai (farang style **no spiciness). The soup (Pho) was good. Plenty of noodles and meatballs in the soup. Sorry, I didn't get a photo of the Pad Thai. We dug into it as soon as it hit the table. The Pad Thai, mmm, not like what you would get at the street vendor or night market on some side Soi in Bangkok. It just seemed too much like some store-bought boxed item down the Asian food aisle. Noodles with some chicken added and the sweet and spicy sauce mixed in. I'm still giving it a good rating because most Westerners could not eat Pad Thai Thai style anyways. Our drinks were the Iced Tea. I didn't see it until after I ordered my drink that I could have ordered a Ca Phe Sua Da ( Vietnamese iced coffee with the condensed milk sweetener). I would have wanted to know if it would have been served in the traditional Vietnamese way. I'll have to try it next time. Nice local restaurant located in a neighborhood shopping center. What a great assortment of cuisine and flavors. My son and I split some food and enjoyed everything we tried today. Service was quick and food was served hot! We first ordered the #21 pad see ew and it was delicious. The bok choy leaves were perfect, I don't think I've had it with bok choy before. There was extra broccoli stems I could have done without. Serving size was nothing to write home about but fitting for the price. I did ask for well cooked veggies but they were pretty crunchy still. We spilt a bowl of phó with no meat and chicken broth. The broth was delicious and I only added some sriracha for spice. Drinkable and delicious. The bowl was large and I had ordered a side of extra noodles which are not needed at this location. There is plenty of noodles we didn't even finish them all. We ordered the wonton fried wontons, can't remember if they are listed as goyza here but they were extra large and the filling was great. The sauce was not ponzu, I believe it was just soy sauce so I added some of my phó broth and it rounded it out to dip in. It was just what the sauce needed for perfection. This is a beautiful location with a big dining area so bring your friends or family. I did not check if they served alcohol. read more
