3 item combo, orange chicken, broccoli beef, bbq pork
    Alixandrea M.

I just was not impressed with literally anything from here. Food was bland even with soy sauce on it. The chow mein noodles had me questioning whether there was any seasoning at all. The bbq pork was an upcharge (which is kind of odd) and came burnt and dry. Tough, like chewing on an eraser. The beef and broccoli was separate in the hot holding area, so there's no sauce on the broccoli. Overall just disappointing, and pricier than Golden Chopsticks which has much better food than here. Won't be back.

Line number 4 on appetizers says fried shrimp, but they told me they don't make fried shrimp here.

The food was good but the service is not. The people are rude. I would give the food a 4 and the people 0, so I decided to make it a 2. I have never been here before and the lady seemed in a hurry to take our order. I asked her if they have shrimp and she said no. I asked her if they do it like as a made to order thing and she said yes. I asked if I could order fried shrimp and she said they don't do fried shrimp- only shrimp and vegetables. So I asked if that had a sauce- I just wanted to make sure I was going to like what I was ordering. The lady looked so irritated that I was asking any questions about the food. She kind of rolled her eyes and asked another lady if this was in a sauce. The lady was like, "yeah- light sauce or dark sauce". Like I'm supposed to have any idea what that means. They were making it too difficult to place a simple order so I told them to forget the shrimp. The restaurant was not very busy and there was no reason to make it so difficult to place an order. When I sat down, I saw a fried shrimp appetizer on their menu. If they were to get friendlier and more helpful employees, I think this place would be great.

Delicious House Special Fried Rice. Chicken, pork, shrimp, egg and green onions.

I had House Special Fried Rice and it was really good. It contains chicken, pork, shrimp, egg and green onions. It's cooked to order except for the strip of bbq pork which they get from the steam table. Fair enough ;)

I ordered the two item entree. The portions were generous, and food was amazing A lot of food for your buck.

Today I ordered the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce with tofu lunch special. It came with an egg flower soup, egg roll, crab Rangoon, and choice of steamed or fried rice. The eggplant and tofu were cut in small pieces but the dish tasted good overall. The garlic sauce was savory. I also wanted to order their Shredded Pork with Rice Noodle dish off of their Korean menu. I had it before but, due to a miscommunication with the waitress, I ended up with Japchae instead. The Japchae was actually excellent, well made with a noticeable amount of wok caramelization flavor. The sweet potato glass noodles had a firm, chewy texture and provided a nice contrast with the tender pieces of pork and stir fried vegetables. I will probably order Japchae again even though I don't think this is a regular menu item. It is highly recommended. Service is polite and efficient. The dining room is comfortable for a single diner.

We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The stir-fried beef noodles were the star -- super tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and great wok flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. The fried buns were surprisingly good too -- warm, fluffy, and even better dipped in the condensed milk. The restaurant is clean, service was quick, and the food looks as good as it tastes (photo attached!). Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Beef potstickers: Appealing looking but awkward to eat and seemed prepared from frozen. The meat was a little roll floating in the middle of the thick wonton wrapper. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. Several customers ordered the dim sum and maybe that's the way to go. It's a no go for me.

The wontons were small but the filling tasted good. The proteins in the soup consisted of chicken and shrimp. There was plenty of meat for sure. The veggies were broccoli, celery, carrots, baby corn, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. The light broth had a good flavor as well. When I got this home, I found the container was 32 ounces filled to the brim. I added an avocado and lime juice to brighten the flavors but it was fine as is. It was one of the best valued wonton soups at under $10, considering the generous amount of ingredients in the soup. Highly recommended. I also ordered a Three Entree Combo meal. I had Orange Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, and BBQ Pork with sides of steamed rice and chow mein. The batter on the Orange Chicken was thick but it had a crispy crunch. Mushroom Chicken had mostly meat with just a few pieces of mushrooms and zucchini. BBQ Pork was seasoned well and tender with a few pieces of thick pork fat. These provided a textural contrast but are easily removed if desired. Not too sweet as well which is a plus. The ordered Veggie Egg Rolls were good with a ginger flavored filling. Overall, this combo was a satisfying meal with plenty of leftovers for later. Overall, a good experience with the food here. This Golden Chopstix location is on my list for a return visit, especially for the delicious Wonton Soup.

They took our order about 15 minutes after we sat down. The mood is all about food. It has a cluster of smells when we entered in. Like cooked veggies. I ordered the roasted duck Al a mode, chicken, sizzling soup, and garlic bread. A coconut shrimp appetizer was also ordered. Don't get me wrong it looks like we were blasted back in time maybe the end of the 70's mixed with the end of the 80's with the hint of the beginning of the 90's. Although there's a mingling of different years within their restaurant don't get me wrong, It's comfortable. The shrimp is coconutty and arrived 15 minutes after we ordered it and it was fired well.. it's been 45 minutes and we wait for the soup, the chicken in the sizzling rice soup is great. The rice is authentically cooked. And it's good. High praise for the chicken sizzling rice soup. The garlic bread was served with the soup, it was just enough to collect a little soupy soup and make it to my belly welly. The duck was fatter than I remember. The parts of duck with the crunchy skin was awesome, the parts of the duck that didn't have crunchy skins, had more fat and the skin was flaccid and hard to eat and softer than I am accustomed to eating. We ordered a cream brûlée and it was the optimal choice for dessert. Wish it was hot inside but, that's just a dream. This place is a hidden gem. If you haven't tried good service and high end food you should give Chateau Chang a try. I give it 5 stars because the staff was sweet and nice. And the food is between good and great! Worth a 5 stars review they earned. We spent 92 dollars. We were here about an hour and 45 minutes. So plan accordingly. Have a great one yelpers.
