Now it is sliced ahead of time and the pieces sit in liquid until purchased. The pork absorbs whatever liquid it is in, making the meat an unappetizing color throughout. This did not add any moisture because the meat was already overcooked and dry to begin with. All the dark edges just means it is burned. The meat smelled burned. Other items, such as the Sweet and Sour Pork and Orange Chicken consisted mainly of thick fried batter and very little meat. The Orange Chicken did, however, have a tangy, citrusy sauce which tasted good. They may be experiencing some growing pains with the new ownership change. I should return in a few months to see if there is any improvement. The price point currently is not worth it due to the rather poor food quality.
